I bought a new phone, my old one was fine, just the spacebar would stick. Well what the heck, I’ll get something that is newer & works. I tell them I live in Beloit. I hear«Ehhh». Well I know what that means now… Beloit is not set up to handle 4G service for Tmobile &99% of the time my phone said«Emergency Only» and there was no reception. I went back within the prescribed 14 days. They told me a new policy had just been implemented that very morning, there was a $ 50 restocking fee. Oh no there is not. The guys in the store were sure to tell me how they informed there would be no service in Beloit. Like heck they did. They made some snarky sound when I said Beloit and nothing more. I called 611, told them what was going on. The manager there called the store and told them there would absolutely be no restocking fee. When I walked back into the store they sure had NOTHING to say at that point. Also, when you buy a new phone you pay an automatic $ 18 upgrade fee. Well I was going back to my old G1, broken spacebar & all, so I asked about the refund of the $ 18 as well. They said I would see that on my next bill, I said that was fine, would they please put that in writing on my return receipt. Yeah, that was refunded at the same time as well. Store is a rip-off joint, they don’t inform you of spotty service in areas then insist a puff of air and a roll of the eyes is supposed to inform you that service might not be what is expected or paid for every month! Guys in that store are jerks! It is also not a T-Mobile store, it is an authorized dealer. So that changes the rules, too. I will not go back there for even a new case for my phone, I’ll order directly from T-Mobile website and get the service I am used to getting from T-Mobile!
