Game World

My minor son bought an old game system there. Guess he wasn’t aware you need to hold a flashlight to the screen to see it. Tried to take it back an hour later, they were closed. Tried to take it back when they opened next morning, employee told us to come back the next day and speak with the owner and maybe she would help us out. Waste of time! Came back the next day and the owner was totally rude! She said there is nothing wrong with it and will not do a refund. I said I would have never authorized him to purchase this when he came in with a friend. She then argued with me that my son called me and asked and I said it was ok! Oh no I didn’t! He called to tell me they didn’t have any used Apple charging cords for his phone. How dare she argue with me about giving my son permission to buy a seriously old game system he never played before. She would only «buy» it back at half price, even though she sold it to a minor and we tried to return it immediately. We told her we don’t want a store credit, we want a refund. She refused. What a rude, inconsiderate business owner. Now we will never shop there again! If she had been more helpful, and AT LEAST given a FULL store credit instead of half, then we would come back. The store is disgusting anyways, always reeks like an ashtray. The staff obviously smokes in the store. GameStop only for us now! SO DISGUSTED!
