An impressive and extensive selection of plants, many many health perennials, tons of the popular annuals, and a whole forest of trees and shrubberies.
Friendly and honest cashiers and staff. (they actually thought they saw a pricing error I missed and re-​rang my purchase to check the total, saving me several dollars)
The pricing is consistent to better than most places in the area and IMO the quality of the plants, in both size and health is better here, so its a better value for the money.

Great selection and knowledgeable staff. I find they often beat the big box Lowes across the way as far as price and the advice is better and free. I go here for all of my shade plants as they have a great selection. The oriental garden supply in Bloomfield is a bit more unique but Wayside meets 95% of what I would be seeking anyway.
Much better in my opinion than Bristols or other nurseries/​garden centers on the east side. I couldn’t help laughing at Nicole’s review. It’s a garden center. Things grow in dirt. A bit dirty? Come on. ..

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are kind of steep and it’s a tad on the dirty side, but all in all, a good friendly local shop.

Bethlehem, PA
Wayside has some of the best selection of plants I have ever seen. An entire pergula of hosta, a greenhouse of shade plants including natives and huchera, excellent iris selection and of course annuals. Honestly if you can’t find it here it probably isn’t worth growing. Prices are decent — can’t get much for a steal but they are more than fair — esp for the harder to find varieties.
Staff is super friendly and very knowledgable — I believe many master gardeners work here. We will be back!

Fantastic selection with reasonable prices.
Stopped in here to pick up a hanging basket for Mother’s Day and had about 400 to chose from.
The selection of indoor/​outdoor plants was phenomenal.
The bush and tree selection was better than average. I only wish I had room in my car to get things back to Ohio.
I highly recommend stopping here for landscaping ideas.
