Great location on 31… one of the few gas stations along the way. Nice new one with a McD’s in it… Since there isn’t much on the way down Rt 31 for quite a few miles– if you are in need of gas I suggest you stop!

This is a curious place. There is the Valero Gas station with a convenience store, and a mini McDonald’s that is mostly there as a busy drive thru, and a laundromat. Too many things going on? It used to be that you would only see other multi-units like this, near marinas, or by National Parks, or at campgrounds, but this is on Route 31 in Macedon. This gas pumps/convenience store/fast food thing seems to be a standard retail model now. You used to only be able to find this petroleum products and food experience at truck stops, no more! The place is above average for cleanliness,(both out at the pumps and in the store) which I credit to the McD’s influence. The gas prices are above average for the area. They do have E-85 for those who use alt. fuel. * I have personally seen two different car collision/accidents here, and many near misses, so be careful even when passing by. It may be the confluence of the Valero, the McD’s, the Dunkin’ Donuts(next door), and the CVS(next to Dunkin’) all using the same exit, combined with the general lack of attention of the drivers, but it is a nuisance because there is no turn lane or traffic light.
