This place is husband and wife cooperated. They use so-​called ‘activator technology’, which, after reading the above article, and experienced through this clinic, is ineffective.
I went for pain in my shoulder and numbness radiating down my left arm. I was diagnosed (through expensive xrays) with arthritis in my neck, which was pinching a nerve in the vertebra in my neck. I was treated with the activator equipment. Nothing at all changed, but, I was told that if I returned for 9 more treatments (at $ 52 dollars each,) my problem would be healed.
I know for a fact that this activator «technology» (no matter how new they claim it is) does not work. This is a money scam. If you need a chiropractor, find one that give manual adjustments. The activator is ineffective.

I have been a patient at Summit Family Chiropractic for several years, where I receive regular chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy. Having seen several chiropractors during my life, I was skeptical of Dr. Misty’s gentle approach. Happily, my skepticism was not necessary! I have multiple problem areas with my back, and Dr. Misty’s adjustments have been critical in improving my quality of life. Cathy Oliver is the best massage therapist I’ve ever been to! The regular massage therapy I receive has been instrumental in maintaining my well being. Whether its deep tissue work or just a problem area that needs help, her treatment plan is always successful. I’m so happy with SFC that my son and sister are now patients there.

I was quite a skeptic of chiropractors, but when I was involved in a pretty bad motor vehicle accident in sept. where my car ended up being totaled. I knew I had to seek a professional to relieve the pain/​stress/​stiffness in my neck, shoulders, and back. The staff were so nice & friendly, it was a very clean environment. And with each treatment, I felt less pain and was able to move more and do more activities in my daily routine. Her price was reasonable and she took the necessary steps to evaluate me often to make sure she didn’t book me for more appointments than I needed. By the time it was New Years, Dr. Misty completely healed me back to my pre-​accident body. I would absolutely recommend Summit Family Chiropractic to everyone and if I ever need an adjustment in the future, I will definitely be returning. I am obviously no longer a skeptic. =)

I have been a client of both Dr. Misty and amazing massage therapist Cathy Oliver for over 2 years now. With neck and back issues and Having trust with someone that is manipulating your body is hugely important. I have been to a couple very bad chiropractors.
Dr Misty does not yarf your body around, gives good advice for PT and exercises! I trust her with my body and pain management. I’ve seen great improvement with my body, and she is always open for «omg I hurt now» appointments.
Cathy has always been great but her massage work on me gets better and better the more she gets to know my neck and body issues. She does both gentle and very deep techniques, reiki, stone work, and cranial sacral for me… Among many more things. Book 2 weeks in advance and be ready to leave refreshed, relaxed and calm, with the areas you need worked on actually worked on. She will talk if u want, but I never feel she over talks. Besides, massage is YOUR TIME, Right?!
Don’t hesitate to go here. I promise! And they take insurance.

I can’t imagine going anywhere else! I started going to Dr. Misty for migraines and chronic back/​neck pain. Since being under Dr. Misty’s care, I’m happy to report that I have not had a single migraine since. I’ve had a few minor headaches but nothing compared to the debilitating pain I used to feel. During the course of my treatment, I became pregnant and was considered a «high-​risk» pregnancy. I was very nervous but found comfort in knowing that Dr. Misty was already practicing pregnancy friendly techniques. She was being proactive before there was even an issue! Dr. Misty’s care goes beyond gentle chiropractic — she has helped me with many different resources for my pregnancy care. Dr. Misty genuinely cares for her patients and has to be one of the nicest care providers ever! The entire office is so peaceful; it’s easy to get appointments and rescheduling is a breeze!

Dr Misty is just amazing, my whole family goes to see her. She is not only an amazing Chiropractor, but also just a delight to visit with. Her adjustments are completely relaxing and always leave my spine feeling fantastic — I had results from the very first visit. I also had Dr Misty adjust my newborn, he loved it too! If you are looking for a Chiropractor, I can’t recommend this practice enough.

Dr. Misty is fantastic! After having gone to other chiropractors since I was a kid (that use traditional manipulation to adjust you), and not having seen any long lasting results — I was skeptical to go back to a chiropractor.
But after having sciatic problems after having two babies, I had to try something. And I am so happy that I found Summit Family Chiropractic office. The gentle, effective and accurate tool that she uses for adjustments is LIFE CHANGING. You see results faster, there is less recovery time and you hold the adjustment much longer. I can’t say enough good things about this great office :)

This Chiropractic clinic is must go! My fiancé woke up one day and couldn’t move. I was soo scared, do we take him to the emergency room or what? We were hesitant to go to the ER because my fiancé doesn’t have insurance yet, so we were scared to see how much we would be charged. Anyways he aid what about a chiropractor? I researched and found this amazing place. They were able to answer all my questions and squeeze us in that day! The staff were amazingly friendly (it was Halloween too so they were all dressed up and in good spirits), Dr. Misty is soo sweet, she makes you feel right at home. The entire staff is amazing, my fiancé is now feeling better with her adjustments and recommendations and I couldn’t be happier with our experience there!

I started visiting Summit because they bill insurance for massages and eventually ended up being treated by Dr. Misty for back pain I’d had my entire life. She helped my spine re-​align and even made my pregnancy more comfortable than I ever thought possible. Now I trust her with my three-​month-​old son. She uses gentle techniques and exercises to align your body, not the back-​cracking, bone twisting methods my parents used.

If you live anywhere Lynnwood and are looking for high quality chiropractic care — this is your place. I see Dr. Gargan and she is not only knowledgeable and thorough but she is so sweet and caring. I love her gentle approach and always feel well cared for.

I personally was afraid of trying and trusting a chiropractor because of all the horror stories I heard in the past. She makes you feel at ease and has a very gentle approach. They use instruments instead of manual adjustments that I feel are more accurate and helpful. I highly recommend them!

I love Dr. Gargan! She’s super passionate and compassionate. Her adjustments are gentle and super effective. She’s also great at making sure I understand my plan of care and what’s going on with my body.
