Starbucks

Hopefully I am rating the correct Starbucks at Alderwood Mall as there are 3, the one I am rating is the one near the entrance to the outdoor stores, near the play area. Anyway, I went there tonight with my brother, and there were two employees working there at the time Tyler and Natalie, I must say they were both above and beyond when it came to customer service, they were getting ready to close up but still welcomed us with warm smiles. I was curious on how to use a french press correctly and was assuming they would both have just told me what to do, nope, they gave us a full demonstration, they pulled out the French press let us pick a coffee to try and even gave us samples of the cheese danish to pair with the coffee sample. I just adored their attitude, its a nice feeling when employees go above and beyond to help their customers, and as a proud and obsessed tea drinker, Tyler has made me like coffee, I am still tea first all the way, but now I have a coffee choice I can enjoy!
The coffee we tasted was Komodo Dragon, its strong, but with a little half and half it was perfect!

The baristas are sweet, they are quick to greet you when you enter.
I ordered a black and white mocha (dark and white chocolate) and it was perfectly sweet with the subtle bitterness of the coffee. Great brew!

We like this starbucks only they had new barista who needs to work on her mochas. But they did remake it so customer service was very good. Love the regular baristas

Slowest starbucks ever!!!

Out of all the Starbucks stores in Lynnwood I like this one the best. They are leaps and bounds better than the one on 44^th.
The employees are always very friendly and the coffee they make tastes great. My drinks are always consistent here.
It’s fun to get a drink and sit and people watch or sit outside when it’s nice weather.
Today I ordered 2 mochas– one for myself and one for my coworker. I accidentally ordered them both as soy because that’s what I always get. After I ordered I realized what I did and asked the barista if she had already started the 2^nd drink. She said yes. I told her that I accidentally ordered soy for one when I meant to order regular milk. I said since she already started I would take it though. It was my mistake!
She graciously offered to redo the drink for me without even batting an eye! She even offered a carrier to me. Very nice. I wish all the SBUX stores were as great as this one.
Oh and the guy that works here whenever I come in is a cutie!

Outdoor seating

It’s Starbucks… you expect Starbucks level greatness… which maxes out at 4 stars.
This location a stones throw away from work and therefore the ‘go-​to’ when anyone needs a coffee fix. The barista’s here are friendly and I’ve never really had to wait for my order to come up.
No cons really… 4 stars!

Um– it’s in Alderwood. I like the mall it’s attached to if for no other reason than large malls stock-​er employ– cute dudes. If they’ve gleaned ANY thing from being int he service industry they’re usually cute, charming dudes to boot. Sure I’ll give you a three dollar tip you shiny scoop of yummy hair.
It’s noting special but everything is pretty competent, and (when I was there) not hard to look at. Hardly is it worth the schlep from civilization to get here though. Their parking lots are totally unparalelled NIGHTMARES.
If you’ve just been visiting Grandma or leaving the house to AVOID her visit for a day trip– you should stop by here.

you buy last minute gifts for Mother’s/Father’s Day if you forgot or had no time to shop in the enormous Mall. i simply liked this one opposed to the other 20 Starbucks locations in this neighborhood… this location holds a special nostalgic placemat inside my heart.

i’ve made out with someone here.
i’ve gotten drunk– then hungover all in 3 hours of sitting outside at their tables.
