I have needle anxiety and have always had an issue with having my blood drawn. What better way to work through that anxiety than to donate blood regularly?
I’ve been to this location twice for whole blood donations. Both times the staff have been great and the area clean. I had my questions answered and everyone made sure I was comfortable. My wife has been to this location three times (twice with me), and has had a good experience every visit.
The only issue I ran into was during my first visit. My bag didn’t seal correctly or something and got spilt all over the floor once I was unhooked. Thus, it wasn’t able to be donated.
The second donation went much better; no issues. I hope to finally get my blood type (O-​) confirmed this time around so I can give a double blood donation on the next visit in a couple of months. My appoint is already set up.

I love that there’s a place in Lynnwood where I can drop in and donate blood when it’s convenient to me. Appointments are an option if you prefer that. The site is clean and uncluttered. The volunteers that greet you and provide post donation drinks and snacks were awesome. My phlebotomist unfortunately was a bit immature. Her finance was there and they kept making eyes at each other while she was poking me with a needle. But that’s the only time I’ve encountered that situation at this clinic so hopefully it’s an isolated incident.
Anyway, save a life, donate blood!

I have donated blood once in my life, I was in high school and about a minute into it I passed out. So much for that.
I recently decided that I want to donate blood. I called, made appointment, and came into the Puget Sound Blood Center in Lynnwood.
Very nice place. The staff is extremely helpful, everyone there answered all of my (hundred) questions and helped me feel at ease (I was nervous). The place is obviously clean and well organized. My entire experience here from the paperwork, to check in, to donating was a good one.

this is the nicest of the four PSBC locations I’ve been to, but I suspect it’s also the newest. they have ipads for those that want to browse the web while they donate, and have great weekend hours. the staff has always been very friendly and professional.

If you’re going to give blood this is the place to do it. All the staff are friendly and nice, will even joke around with you a bit. The space is comfortable and the parking is ample.
