The work they did was fine. The problems were that they started, then didn’t return for several weeks(when we finally called them, questioning the extreme delay, since they had said they’d be back shortly when they showed up with the wrong equipment). And since this was insulation, w/the walls torn off, it inconvenienced the siding contractors, and the painters, delaying them by 2 weeks, as well. I realize this was a busy season(summer), but simple communication would have solved it. I called 8 times attempting to pay their bill, over several months, the company never even returned calls(I left multiple messages, sometimes their mailbox was even full. I even wrote a snail-mail letter, still with no response). I was hoping they would at least adjust the bill for 2 weeks of inconvenience. When I finally reached someone he knocked off $ 50, which seems ridiculous, 3%. My contractor pointed out that insulators don’t necessarily value customer service, since it’s usually a one-time job vs repeat business. But I was very happy with another insulation company I used several years ago on another of my homes, they were timely and polite, I should have tracked them down for this job, too.
