I’ve been coming here since day one and love this place! Steve and staff are friendly, attentive and nothing but professional. The food is great, the beer is delicious and this place is a must for any serious golfer who wants to stay in shape during Washington’s rainy fall and winter seasons. I also compete in the Tuesday night golf league. This is my fourth time doing so and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. I highly recommend Clubhouse Golf Center to anyone looking to get in the sport, or the seasoned golfer looking to improve their game. Rain or shine, Clubhouse Golf Center is always a good time!

We gave this place a shot. I will not go back again. The wife did order 2 nachos, a salad and sandwich for the kids and was charged the large party auto gratuity. If we would have known that we wouldn’t have ordered the kids something to drink/eat and the wife would have gone somewhere else. She paid the bill anyways and left. When it came to my bill after we were done with golf. The staff member asked if we had any beer/drinks/food. All I had was water. Get the bill and the large party auto gratuity was on my bill as well. $ 10 for bringing me a pitcher of water. So my family got double charged on «Gratuity» $ 74 total for 4 hours of golf and a pitcher of water. Total of 3 people in the bay I was in. 4 people for the front nine and the 3 people for the back 9 in the other bay. So if 7 golfers is considered a Large party with automatic gratuity I would rather go to a real course. As far as the golf — I have played on several simulators and wasn’t impressed. I’d rather take my kids to the driving range. The rough/sand/fringe mat was a POS. If the balls lie was rough we would put it on the rough and hit. The mat wouldn’t stay. I suggest you repair it before renting that bay out again. Because I felt ripped off once the bill came that you would charge me full price for half of an experience since half the time I was in the rough. Eventually we gave up and just played on the«fairway» mat regardless of where the ball was. Once done I did hit the print button for the score card and results. Never got those print outs. Replying to your response: Yes, we had 11 people in the group to start. This isn’t the first time we have gone out as 10 or more people to an establishment. My point is why would my wife be charged gratuity and me as well if we are on the same bill. Even if she paid for the food separately wouldn’t there be discretion on charging me gratuity seeing that I only had water. Per your website«Note: Groups of 10 or more may be charged an 18% service charge» But in your response there is a automatic gratuity charge. Just over $ 20 tip for 2 nachos, salad and sandwich. At the turn there was only 6 of us left in your establishment. It was not recommended to us to just use the main pad. We were only told not to use our own balls. I wish you the best of luck with the manufacturer. But that is not the customers issue when your website says«providing an ultra realistic golf experience» The score card/results were an option at the end of the round, why wouldn’t any golfer not want a print out. I suggest your staff communicate that when they explain the rules, etc. and not the customer having to ask where to find the print out. In the end you got over $ 800 out of our group.

I have wanted to try this place for awhile and finally went the other night. The location is clean and has good beer on tap. I made a 1.5 hour reservation via their website figuring that should be enough for 3 of us to get through 9 while still keeping the cost down a bit($ 40 an hour!!!). My experience fell a bit flat due to a couple of issues. First there is no warm up time. If I am paying $ 40 an hour to golf it would be nice if I could have 5 minutes extra on the ‘range’ to stretch/warm up and get a feel for the simulator. Throw in a couple of putts and I would have felt prepared. Second, I was a bit confused that despite only signing up for 1.5 hours via their website our countdown started at 2 hours, but after listening to the tutorial for 3 – 5 minutes with the countdown running I just assumed they padded the time a bit. Needless to say that was not the case. We did not actually ‘tee off’ until at least 5 minutes had passed, so I essentially paid $ 3.50 for my tutorial. Hooray? The golf itself was OK. It is not an immersive experience, but if you know the course you are playing it is fun to hit certain tee shots/approaches. It was nice to see some stats on the screen after your shot, but there is not as much info as you’d find in a club fitting bay. Chipping and putting are both pretty tricky. We did not make a single putt in our group. It is really hard to ‘feel’ the distance so your best bet is to just hope you are within gimmie range. It might help to know how far the screen is from the tee, we wound up pacing it out just to get an idea. It would also be cool to have different gimmie ranges for beginners as putting ate up a lot of our time. Also, retrieve balls as you go. If you have to retrieve a ball when it is your turn to hit there is a good chance you will mess up the sensor again costing time and $$$. If I were to return it would be as part of one of their leagues as $ 25 for a round is about all I would be willing to pay.

I’ve been playing here for over a year now and it is a great place to play golf with friends. Steve the owner and his staff are great at taking the time to teach new customers how to use the simulator. Having food and drink available during your round is a nice bonus as well. No more waiting around for the beverage cart girl to come by. The prices are reasonable and they charge by the hour for each bay and not per person. It takes an about an hour per person to play 18 holes so if you are by yourself or with a friend you can complete a course much faster than on an actual course.

Bf scheduled our t-time at 2pm on a Sunday for our date. It was $ 40/hr but I guess they schedule you 1 hr per person so it’s 2 hours for 2 people = $ 80 to golf. I’m not a golfer aka I really suck and don’t know how much you pay at a club etc but that was pretty expensive. we didn’t even use up the 2 hours because we had prior engagements. They didn’t ask us how long we wanted to be there either. If you have no idea what you’re doing or how to hit a ball, you definitely need all the extra time — we ended up at hole 14 or 15 and we had about 20 minutes left of our time. You get to choose which golf course to play on and they set it up for you on the computer. They suggest you bring your own clubs but there are golf clubs for you to rent for $ 10. I should have rented since my bf’s clubs were wayyyy too long for me but I lived with it. You can order food and drinks — we got nachos and a soda. Service was friendly — we were checked on and drinks were refilled. However no one was in sight when we wanted to pay and leave. Overall, if I really wanted to practice or something I might consider coming here or taking a golf enthusiast. Their website claims: «The hourly rate is a flat, per hour rate for the simulator bay… not per person. Bring your friends and split the cost!» You are all going to end up paying $ 40/person since they give you 1hr/person to begin with… might as well go by yourself.

Came here in a rainy Saturday morning just after they opened up. Tons of courses to choose from. Played a round on one of the Hawaii courses. Gotta say that this place is way better than other golf simulator places. The material of the mats, tees, etc is far better than the other places that use cheap AstroTurf. The simulator is pretty accurate. It knew when to register my horrible slice when I hit my driver incorrectly. I was able to play a round of 18 holes in under an hour. Oh did I mention they have a full bar and food available? Very nice setup and great atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and helpful when I need anything. Gonna be back again all off season to keep up my golf game.

My buddies and I had a great time playing a simulated course in Maui(there is a book of all the courses available). One of the guys had heard that these simulators were popular in certain countries where golf is much more expensive to play than here. You can bring your own clubs or rent them. The owner Steve was very friendly and gave us a tutorial of the simulator before we started. Because it was our first time, it was very tricky to hit at the correct distances. I think the learning curve is worth it because all the stats of the round are show on screen as you play. It’s a good way for golfers to get practice without having to deal with rain and wind. Definitely will go back to play here.

Great place to practice when it’s raining or too hot outside. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cold beer and a Seattle dog while playing a course in Africa. Might take a couple games to get the hang of it, but was a lot of fun. Definitely worth checking out.

This place is amazing because not only can you play a round on «real» courses sheltered from the weather, using your real clubs and swing instead of a mouse. But you can also work on your swing with real launch monitor feedback to dial in your distances per club and see what swing flaws are persisting and costing you distance and directional stability. The«driving range» mode half hour rental for $ 10 is a super bargain.

Heard about this place while playing golf with a couple guys at Interbay. Really glad I went to try it out. Had a blast and will definitely be back! Thanks Steve!!!

Abstract: Pretty cool place with a full bar and food options. The golf simulator is fairly accurate. Definitely accurate enough to keep things fun. I think this place shines when the weather is bad outside but unfortunately, it’s a little pricey so I would choose to play on a golf course over this whenever I could. Fortunately, there is a lot of «bad weather» to be had in the Puget Sound. It does offer a relaxing atmosphere to just have fun and grab a drink without having to worry about everything else. Had a sudden urge to hit some golf balls on a Saturday and none of my golfing friends were free so I was looking for an alternative. I had seen this place online before so I decided to drag a non-golfing friend here and try it out. I just started golfing about 1.5 years ago. The owner and the workers here are very nice and helpful. One of the workers helped us get set up and explained how everything worked. The owner came along at some point and helped us pick a course to play. They have a bunch of top tier courses in their simulator so that’s really cool. The simulator itself was fairly accurate. I think it’s most accurate when hitting iron shots. For some reason, I could hit my 5 iron 200 yards consistently but could only hit my driver 150 yards. Maybe it’s just me. Another thing about the driver is that it was really hard to tee the ball up on our mat. The tee was not held securely at all. On average, it should take you 1 hour to finish 18 holes and that will cost you 30 – 40 dollars. That’s a little pricey for playing on a simulator when you could play on a real golf course for around the same price. However, like the owner said, this place does have more of bowling alley kind of feel. It’s also more relaxing for beginners at golf that aren’t sure they’re ready to lose a bunch of golf balls on a real course. With that being said, if you are going to bring a complete newbie, be prepared to be idle for a longer period of time. The simulator works just like real golf so it’s the turn of whoever is furthest out. At the end of the day, we did have a lot of fun and I will definitely return whenever I don’t feel like hacking away outdoors(whether it be because of weather reasons or if I just feel like having a more relaxing experience).

We went there on a Groupon on a Sunday. We didn’t expect to be treated as attentively as without a Groupon since we waited until the last minute to use it. We were pleasantly surprised to be treated like VIPs! Steve the owner is hard working, friendly and he was helpful to show us the nuances of the simulator so that we could have a good game. There IS a learning curve! Remember to bring your own clubs, they are not included in the purchase of a game. Good beer selection, reasonable snack prices(but these are SNACKS, no grill menu) great TV screens to keep up on other sports while you are playing. The room is set up similar to a bowling alley where you get your own«lane» for your private session/group. One down sided is that you play per hour so if you are not done with your game, you will need to rush through the last few shots or buy another hour. Steve said that he would have let us finish out if there was not another group waiting. We understood the confines of his situation and were fine with getting to the 17th hole! We really liked the 50 different options of courses to play; that would ensure a different experience each time you return. It worked out to be about the same as a local round of golf at a muni course, but you didn’t have to dress in special activewear, no special shoes(I played barefoot!) the beer was better and the weather didn’t matter! Also, Steve became aware of and tried to accommodate my gluten allergy. I watched him as he made a point to remember(as many of) all the players names that he could and his enthusiasm to create an all around great experience for his customers. Support small business and try out Clubhouse Golf Center. You won’t be disappointed!

We had such a fun time here! The owner, Steve, was so helpful and friendly. From the second we walked in to the time we left we were treated like family. I took my husband, his brother and our close friend here and they were able to play a full round of golf in just under 3 hours. I was even able to take some swings and try the place out and loved it! I’m not a good golfer at all but I’ve always wanted to try and this was the perfect place to practice and get a feel for the sport. Not only did they guys get to choose from over 40 different courses, they got to choose from a ton of different beer, food and hard A drinks! The food was awesome and very reasonably priced and their Clubhouse Kamikaze was probably one of my favorites-definitely a must when you come here! As I mentioned above, Steve the owner was absolutely amazing and helped set the guys up with their course, gave them a ton of tips on the simulator and even made sure we had everything we needed the entire time we were there. Steve, you made our experience so much fun! Thank you!!! This is a great place to come with a large group, a small group or even as a date. I know for sure my husband and I will be coming back for a date night very soon! I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes golfing, wants to try out golfing or even if you’re like me and want to tag along for the ride =) You won’t be disappointed nor will you be bored because the atmosphere here is so much fun, I promise!

Had a good time here on a groupon. The have at least six booths for golfing and something like 40 different courses to choose from. As a bonus, they have a more interesting beer selection than most actual golf courses. They also have a good variety of cheap food(around $ 6 – 7) including a bunch of different super delicious hot dogs. Lastly, the owners are super friendly!

Absolutely great place on every level. Two of us played Kapalua Bay in 2 hours. The video screen is amazing. The owner is very helpful and accommodating. They have a full bar with some excellent craft beer choices. We even tried the owner’s new concoction of jack’s honey fiz. As I stated in the first sentence(the place is great on every level) we finished the few hours with not your ordinary hot dog but a specialty BLT dog with a side of macaroni salad. There is a full slate of tv’s to watch espn or whatever game you may want to watch.

Had the best time here with two friends on a Tuesday night. Steve, the owner, is very hands on — guided us through the entire experience, teaching us all the tricks about playing with a simulator — how to putt, how to do fly-bys, and how to see the pin when you can’t see your shot. It made the whole experience really great, and I can’t wait to go back. They also have great beers on tap, and the whole place is cool — tons of TVs with the games on. I’d go there even if I wasn’t interested in playing just to hang out with the owner and have a few beers. They have over 40 courses to choose from, and you can play from whatever tees you want — the system works surprisingly well, and I can’t wait to get a group together and play again. Big space, clean, good food/drink, excellent ownership — what more can you ask for? So excited this place is close to me.

Great place to get in a round on a premier course. Call ahead to see if a reservation is needed, and plan on about an hour per person to finish 18 holes. Really friendly and helpful staff, relaxing atmosphere, and a high quality establishment overall. Definitely a must if you want to play a round and don’t want to worry about the weather!
