I ate a lot of Thai food, but this one is just great! Using best products and spices. I enjoyed the green curry — a nice portion.

Went here the other night and I was looking forward to trying the seafood Thai fried rice. Unfortunately it wasn’t very good. Seafood didn’t taste or look fresh. Perhaps their other dishes are much better. But paying $ 15, I really would have liked to enjoy my meal. The service however was pretty good. It was pretty busy but they gave me a wait time since I was ordering to go and took care of me quickly. I will try other dishes here and hopefully it’s fresh next time.

My new favorite Thai restaurant! Had dinner here tonight and it was AMAZING! I had the vegan pad thai which was fantastic. It’s usually difficult for me to find a FLAVORFUL vegan pad thai, but I definitely did not have that problem here. The service was very friendly and VERY quick, we were seated right away and received our food within about 7 minutes of ordering. I will definitely be coming back and suggesting to friends :)

Their customer service is horrible. We waited over 15 minutes just for some water AFTER we told them we were ready to order then waited 15 minutes more and then we just left in frustration. There weren’t even many families there and people who came after us were served first… If I could give them no stars I would have

This is the best Thai I’ve had in the area. The massaman beef, yellow curry and green bean prik King are all excellent entrees. Spicy wraps, wonderful crispy and chicken satay are great appetizers.

This review is for weekday lunchtime service. The staff are friendly and personable even amid a lunchtime rush. Regarding the food, I’m embarrassed to say I just went for a standard chicken phad thai but wow was it a good choice, for a few reasons. First, because let’s face it, this is the dish that you judge a Thai restaurant by and holy wow was it good. Secondly, be warned, I now love this place with the white-hot heat of a thousand suns because when I say«four stars,» they respectfully nod and return something that actually has FORTYSTARS of heat. They do not mess around with the spice heat or treat you like a delicate little kitten because you’re not a Thai customer. Remember this, both if you don’t or especially if you *DO* like spicy-hot food. This is instantly on my top-ten list of local places to go. When you order spicy-hot, you actually get it spicy-hot. My goodness, this was so delicious. Get a side of peanut sauce if you get the 4-star phad thai in case it’s too much heat. This was the most delicious lunch that I’ve had in ages and I will be back many times, I guarantee it. If you are lucky enough to find yourself in the vicinity, do yourself a favor and stop in, you will not regret it. Just be respectful of the spice-star way at this venue — these folks do not fool around or coddle you because you’re not Thai — you get four stars when you ask for four stars. Five would have had me sweating and red-faced, even me as a life-long heat head. What a wonderful, wonderful little place this is, just across from Sears in the Alderwood Mall. Do stop in. I can’t wait to go again and try a curry.

Was going to take a picture of my food but it was so delicious I ate it all before taking it. Great Thai food. Not to oily/greasy like you get with some Thai restaurants. Staff was friendly and attentive. Great service and food. Would recommend.

I would never go here again. Friday night. Party of two. We wait probably 15 minutes to be seated. We wait probably 15 minutes before our orders are taken. We wait 15 minutes or more before getting our food. Both dishes are very different but taste nearly exactly the same. Ambience wasn’t awesome. Large table in the middle of the room remained un-bused the whole time we were there. Walk back to the bathrooms showed a weird mish-mash of stuff. Kitchen appeared small and not well-kept. Server was awkward. Weird to me that this place is rated so high on Unilocal… maybe the whole place was having a bad night? I don’t recommend.

Delicious Pad Thai and Tom Kha: D The food does not take long to come out and the service is very good. On top of that the restaurant is very clean and offers a comfortable environment to enjoy a meal. Great place to eat, try it out! :D

Great service, food and tuming. I feel very taken care of and enjoy how the food is presented and brought out. Extremely reasonable prices for the food and experience!

First time trying this place out. It’s a smallish place and the atmosphere is casual. The server is very friendly and checked on us quite often. We started out with the Wonderful Crispy sampler plate which had two of each spring rolls, spicy wrap, coconut prawns and crab delight, served with a side of sweet chilli sauce. We thought the crab delight and the coconut prawns were the tastiest. That was followed by a small cup of a somewhat spicy egg soup with tofu, carrots and bamboo shoots. It was delicious and had enough of a kick to make the flavor interesting. For our entrees, I ordered the Masaman Curry, one star, because I’m not into super spice. This particular curry is only available with beef because it’s actually cooked in the sauce which makes it super tender and delicious. I really enjoyed this a lot. My wife got the red curry with chicken and three star spice. She enjoyed hers as well and felt it had nice flavor. Overall we both loved the food. We noticed you get more meat than veggies which can be good or bad depending on what you like. The food quality is very good but the prices are a little high, all things considered. If we are in the area and really in the mood for Thai we would definitely come back.

Clean tables and very attentive service. Just looks like an unassuming Thai restaurant in a strip mall but this family owned restaurant is has a mean basil fried rice and an incredibly nice wait staff. Came here on a Saturday night. Tables were aplenty which might you think the restaurant doesn’t have a large following but soon after we arrived, all the following customers that were seated sounded like they were regulars. The basil fried rice had large shrimp with the shells very thoughtfully peeled all the way down to the absolute end of the tail. It’s a minor detail but it just shows the care that these people put into their food. The crying tiger was a little acidic for my taste but very good nonetheless. Would definitely recommend. Also they had a parking lot which is always a plus!

Their food is very good and tasty. Love their thai tea and always pick one up whenever I make my stop at the mall across the street. However, when I order for take out, their portions are always small and pretty pricey. Btw, they are only open certain hours. So, always check for that. I wish they were a little generous with their portions. I always feel like I have to place two orders of everything I desire. That’s all I got.

Anytime we are nearby Alderwood mall and in the mood for Thai food we come here. It’s a small local place with a friendly family run staff. The food is always served hot and fairly quickly and it’s always delicious. According to Unilocal I’ve checked in here 12 times already and we’ve never been disappointed.

BADCUSTOMERSERVICE!!! I walked in 30 secs behind a couple that were seated. The time was 2:42 pm. Sign says lunch until 3pm. The man who greeted me said«no more seating only order to go». I said«you just sat 2 people» He listened to me with deaf ears. I WAS a regular customer, never again will I go here!

Great ambience for a small restaurant. Presentation of food is on point. First time there, but it looks like they have some great menu items. Great customer service and always making sure that you are alright.

After much back & forth, I am giving this place three stars. The first time I went, it was divine — but has gone down hill to average since then. The noodle dishes have always been good. However, when I have gone during a busy period they are significantly smaller. The tom kha I went was pretty flavorless and is heavy on the coconut. The last time I went it took over 30 minutes to order. The place was pretty full but staff kept walking past us — even when we hailed them. I was standing up to go when they finally came over to assist and at that point was too hungry to fight. I look forward to updating my review but for now, the«hit-or-miss» aspect of this place isn’t appealing.

Sometimes it can be difficult to find authentic Thai food in Seattle, but don’t fret, because Chili Basil is one of those staple, Thai places you can count on for variety and quality. I am definitely one of those customers that can order the same dish over and over and be perfectly happy, but when I visited Chili Basil I ventured out of my drunken-noodles-two-star comfort zone and was surprisingly, impressed. The Massaman curry and Khao Soi Beef are all worth a try. I think they are also under the chef’s recommendations list. Customer service is top-notch. It’s a family-owned, family-run establishment and they made me feel very welcomed and appreciated, including refilling my water frequently.

And ended up in this restaurant by not planning anything and it actually actually surprised me! Great place for a good thai food! As appetizer, I had crab delights. I ordered just the small size that came with 3, but I regret so much! I should have ordered more! The dough was very crispy and the crab with cream cheese inside was just delicious. I also had yellow curry with prawns and jasmine rice. Also delicious! First time I had yellow curry with pineapple. They also gave me the option to choose how spicy I wanted my dish from 0 to 4. Loved it! I asked for 1 and it actually came as I expected. Not too spicy and not too mild. I live in Vancouver and I never heard something like that. As dessert, I tried some fried bananas with coconut, honey and ice cream. Of course they also did not disappointed us. Very tasty! Beside all those things, the location is very convenient close to the mall, the staff was very friendly and the price is really fair.

I expected much more than what we recieved! But at least the Phad thai was good and the to-go service was fast for a saturday night. 1-star: It only took 30min for it to be ready after calling in a to-go order. 1-star: the Beef Phad Thai was better than most places I’ve been in this area and the 2-star spicy was just enough heat. All of the elements were balanced and the dish stayed in tact during the trip home. 1-star: service upon payment. The gentleman was really nice and very friendly. I guess I just expect them to hurry me out and not smile, but this guy was great. Lack of stars: Spicy Fried Wontons(appetizer): the only thing spicy was the sweet chili sauce that came with it. They are not something I would order again… just not tasty enough. Sweet & Sour Chicken: I was allured by their«home-made» sauce and chose 3 spicy because my better half was suffering from a cold. Yes, it was spicy… but it tasted more like Pepper chicken than sweet and sour because there wasn’t any resemblence of sauce in the dish. I’ll only order the Phad thai from now on.
