I’ve been coming here for two years solid — almost on a daily basis while working an engineering contract for a nearby client. I know these folks and their whole family as well. I’ve been inside of their kitchen as well. First off, for two years solid, I’ve not had any food poisoning or any ill affects from their food. This, is top grade food. The wife, makes all the spices herself thus, it is very consistent from day to day. Their cook, has been with them for years. The food you get is authentic and, some ingredients are imported. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and, I cannot rave enough about their food. I bring people from work and, the end result is the same — very happy customers who — ask me to go back with them. I order food when working very late — the Husband. delivers it to my door. These people are just fantastic and are like family to me. When we go during lunch, place is usually quite busy. Dinner time, later during the week, there’s quite a bit of flow in and out. The prices are very low compared to some of the other Thai places I’ve tried down on Evergreen and in surrounding towns nearby. Highly recommended. C.M.

I work down the street so there are two local places I go to. Out of respect for the other, I won’t mention the name but this is the best Thai food in the area. It is a husband-wife run business and she makes all the sauces from scratch I believe; ask for some of the hot oils to spice things up if you don’t believe me. I love their chicken Penang and find the quality and service to be exceptional it is hard to go there without running into other co-workers and the consensus is… it is great food. I cook Thai and Chinese food amongst many other kinds of food and always appreciate food that does not taste like you are in a restaurant. Not to discount the other reviews, but i am always skeptical of reviews that recommend another local establishment.

I’m sorry the only reason I went here because Thai Valley is closed on Sundays. I always get the beef pad see ew anywhere I go when I eat Thai. Why does there pad see ew taste like cheap Chinese food? I’ve had a lot of Thai food in my life time but this tasted like cheap Mongolian beef from Safeway. It was too salty and had ingredients that shouldn’t be in there. Again very disappointed. I had the crab rangoon which sucked as well. There was barely any filling and overly fried. Prices were too high for what you received as well. I wanted some fish-sauce to go and the guy at the front didn’t know what fish-sauce was when I asked him. Terrible.

Is there ZERO stars choice? Horrible experience x 2! Thought we would give it another try — HUGEMISTAKE!!! Took almost 90 minutes when I was told 45−60…called twice and was told«It is on the way, it is on the way!» When it was another half hour and still not here but live 10 minutes away? SOOOOO hungry and such a disappointment. Had to call back 3rd time and I finally cancelled. Asked for half off since so long but they said NO! Hope they donate it because half of payment would be better than NOTHING and NO food delivery? Horrible business and disappointing :(

Okay, full disclosure: I grew up in Mukilteo in the 80s and 90s, and this was my family’s go-to Thai restaurant, so you might chalk that fifth star up to nostalgia. Still, I was passing through town and stopped in for lunch. Even to my more discerning, world-traveled, adult palate, this was solid Thai food. The ambience is nice, and the people are really friendly and welcoming. This is probably my 30th time eating here(albeit the first time this decade), and I’ve never had anything but a positive and delicious experience. Don’t be fooled by the fact that it’s in a strip mall. The best Thai restaurants always are …

Was in the area to see my uncle in Mukilteo and my parents were hungry so went to the first restaurant we saw. Overall, I’d give this place a 3.5÷5 review. Food was decently priced but everything was super generic/bland. There was maybe one other family in the restaurant, not a good sign of the popularity. TBH, I meant to write this review months ago but left it unfinished and now cannot remember more specifics of my meal… but I do remember thinking I wouldn’t come back.

Ate here a couple of years ago and the food was great. This trip was just sad. I got the green curry, not much flavor and the chicken and veggies were not even close to being fresh. Super disappointed.

Walking into this place I thought it was going to be a nightmare. The restaurant was completely dead at 7pm on monday. The hostess looked at me like a ghost just walked in. Although it’s probably cuz I was looking massive from my post work out pump(add flex here). Pocahontas soundtrack is on repeat our entire dinner. Food came out incredibly quick. Everything was delicious. Great post work out meal. Little children screaming in the kitchen ads to an authentic dining experience. Will be back. Got chicken pad thai, tom yum yum soup and rangoons. Fuck yeah Edit: service was so good changed to 5 stars.

1. eat in the restaurant. the best results. 2. take out, and eat it right away. after sitting, their noodles really absorb most of the sauces and the dishes wind up tasting pretty dry. especially the phad thai. 3. their phad thai has always been pink, and that is really okay. the recipes vary, but do usually have a tomato base, with citrus. 4. I didnt notice the crying tiger salad on the menu yesterday, but I love the way they used to make it(finely shredded cabbage, lots of chopped cilantro and tomatoes, and the yummiest beef in history). 5. red curry #75 does reheat pretty well in the microwave, but only when I use a vegetable steaming dish. otherwise also too dry when reheated.

Absolutely fantastic. You can tell the owners have a sense of pride in what they do. I’ve been coming here 2 – 4 times a week, and it’s been nothing short of consistent. I’d really recommend the pad thai.

Just had take-out from here and have to say this is the worst crab fried rice I’ve ever had. Nothing tastes fresh, at all. All Rice Thai Hut is a much better option. Emphasis on much. Edit: Seriously tastes like a frozen dinner with artificial crab.

We used to come here quite often and had not been in a long time. Judging by the age of their youngest, longer than we thought. The menu selection and portion size has increased if memory serves me. Both our meals were large enough for two servings. Nice to have leftovers to look forward to the next day. Food here is very good and there is a warm family atmosphere.

I have yet to find a really good thai restaurant in the Mukilteo area, so when I arrived here I was crossing my fingers that this would be the spot. It was quiet and comfortable, so there was that. The tom yum soup that I had before dinner was good but when the phad thai that came with my combo came out PINK I freaked out a little bit. I decided to give it a try and it was just too sweet. The chicken that was in it tasted a little different and was a bit dry. It could have been all in my head after the pink phad thai showed up, but the experience left me feeling a little uneasy. The water tasted off(again, could it be all in my head?). There is the possibility if I tried other dishes they might be better, and based on other reviews I think that may be the case. It just might take me a while to return.

Tasty good food. You won’t be disappointed. Family friendly and a truly fun experience they have take out and are always timely with orders. If your looking for good food that seems to always have food to take home.

Good presentation, delicious food, and low prices make this restaurant a winner in my book. Well, I just had the lunch special, but I could tell from it that the owners here take pride in their work and that’s very important for running any business. I feel that a revisit is in order whenever I’m in the area again. I ordered the noodle delight lunch special, a dish of rice noodles with vegetables, meat, and peanut sauce. It sounds so simple, but they make the noodles so well that the whole thing feels like it’s more than the sum of its parts. The soup appetizer they gave me beforehand was similarly superb; the garlic-seasoned vegetable soup that came with the dish was a real treat and made the meal more enjoyable. I’ll have to stop by again for their other lunch specials; they’re only like eight bucks!

This was our first time here and it was delicious! The red curry with tofu was very tasty and the spice level was perfect. This will be our new go-to Thai spot now!

Over all not bad service, food was flavorful and atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Food: I ordered #75 with beef and medium spicy, I got exactly what I asked for and it was full of flavor. Service: Was very prompt, smooth and straight to the point just the way I like it. Over all it’s a great place for food and service.

We ordered 7 entrees, 3 sides, 1 large soup, and 2 appetizers and the total was $ 94, using the Family Dinner Deal. Sounds like a good deal, right? But NOPE. PROS: 1. Delivery was prompt and courteous. Nicely dressed man waited patiently while we checked over the entire order. 2. Tom Ka Gai Soup with Chicken was excellent. Flavorful, just the right amount of spice, and fresh ingredients. My only complaint is that the chicken was not prepared using the velvet technique, it was just boiled, so it was a bit chewy. 3. Portion of Jasmine Rice that came with the Family Dinner was HUGE. 4. Mongolian Beef was tender and tasty, but very small portion. CONS: 1. Portion size was HALF what other Asian restaurants are serving, and the price was not worth it, even with the family deal. Very small portions, especially for the General’s Chicken and Orange Chicken. 2. Panang Red Curry and Gaeng Garee Yellow Curry were bland and virtually indistinguishable from one another, except for the color. Not very good at all. 3. General’s Chicken and Orange Chicken were EXACTLY the same, except for a slightly different sauce. The chicken was overcooked and the batter was tasteless. The sauces were both bland and runny like water. Tiny strands of veggies. Extremely small portions. Enough for each person to have 2 pieces. 4. Pad Thai Noodle with Chicken was an odd Pepto pink color, the noodles were cold and stuck together in a huge clump. We had to cut chucks of it off with a knife. Gross. 5. Spring Rolls were not Spring Rolls, they were simply small vegetarian egg rolls. The Lime Sauce they came with was tasty but I had to pay $ 3.00 extra(!!) to get the Peanut Sauce they should have come with. This made the price $ 8.99 for 4 small rolls. Not worth it. 6. Crab Rangoon were the tiniest I have ever seen, about the size of tortellinis and the same shape. Not worth $ 7 and they did not come with the usual sweet & sour sauce, even though I asked for it. 7. ORDERINGPROCESSWASTERRIBLE! I tried to order through their website, but the prices were higher than through , and they only gave Vegetarian and Tofu options for the Family Dinner Deal. So I went to Eat24 to order, and while I could choose protein options other than tofu here, you could NOT choose which proteins you wanted for each specific dish. So I tried calling the restaurant to place the order but the man refused to take my order over the phone and told me to go to the website. When I told him I tried two websites and neither of them was working properly, he argued with me, so I just hung up and did it through Eat24. I had to put a special instruction at the end stating which proteins went with which dishes, and how many stars of spiciness I wanted for each dish. Overall, the entire process took more than an hour, and we had to wait another hour for delivery. Not good. 8. We asked for lots of Soy Sauce and got none. Apparently they don’t have any. BOTTOMLINE: There are much better places to get Thai food in this area. Skip it.

*strictly based on lunch take-out* MEH! Seriously… ugh. I am a huge Thai food aficionado, and this place really let me know! I’m in the midst of trying a bunch of new restaurants in the Mukilteo area now that my company relocated from Everett… and I have to say, MEH! I ordered the yellow curry lunch special here for take out. Was a little surprised when I was asked if I wanted it cooked with coconut milk? Is there another option? I wasn’t aware. Either way, I said yes, and I was told it would 10 – 15 minutes. When I arrived, I sat in the reception area for a good 10 minutes before anyone noticed me. Then I paid($ 9 for lunch) and was on my way. When I opened it up at work, the portion size was pretty decent, but the taste left much to be desired. Wasn’t a huge fan of the obviously American-style roasted potatoes(which I normally would love, just not done this way in a Thai dish), few bits of carrot wedges and bamboo shoots, and watery curry. I ate most of it, because I was hungry, but I wasn’t really feeling it. I should stick with what I know and love… Mukilteo Thai is really great… it’s just a bit of a ways further down Mukilteo Speedway.

I order the standard pad thai to-go. Only thing I do wish, is that it provided more chicken and peanuts. The establishment did send is off with a lot more noodles than I expected. If I want something quick, I’ll revisit.
