Exceptional service. Food was delicious and the managers were just so friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back

Excellent food and great service. This place is great for vegetarians and vegans too as they are very accommodating. Going to keep coming back! Try the hiragana steamed bun with pork belly and panko apple. It is delicious!

We have been here a few times but this time went horriblely bad. We had the worse waiter who never checked on us or refilled our waters. The kicker it was Mother’s Day and my meal as a mom and my friends sons came so late that we had to package them up because we were there for an hour and half and we had to leave. We had to remind the waiter to bring our beer and we never got our second round. We had to get up and get our own to go containers off the food searching shelf because no one helped. We asked our waiter but we had to ask twice to even take our order. The food was good but the service was the worse service I ever had. I also made clear not to put shrimp in my food and when it came out late it had shrimp in it.

I love this place. I come here every time I visit Lynnfield. My favorite is the chicken don buri, absolutely delicious. The ramen is also amazing. I recommend this place for everyone who loves Japanese food.

The staff were friendly and helpful. But I don’t go to a restaurant to kvetch with the employees. I go to eat good food for a reasonable cost. wagamama failed on both those counts. I ordered the Beef Massaman Curry, described as «…in a mild, fragrant massaman curry sauce…» The dish was anything but«mild». I’ve enjoyed massaman curry dishes from Thai restaurants, and while they occasionally have a little zest, I’d not say this curry is a hot sauce elsewhere. I mentioned this to our server and she acknowledged that wagamama’s version is indeed hotter than the usual Thai fare(she’d worked in a Thai restaurant before). Even after mixing in the entire bowl of rice, I was unable to tame the heat enough to eat it. When the manager came over at the end of the meal and asked how we’d enjoyed it, I told him how hot it was, and he also acknowledged that in his estimation, the heat was comparable with one of their hottest dishes, Firecracker shrimp(«a fiery mix of [ingredients] and red hot chilies»). The menu’s description of the massaman curry as «mild» is significantly misleading. Beyond that, the quantity of beef in the dish was unexpectedly small, given the $ 16.25 price tag, and not a good value for the money. The Mrs. ordered the Chicken Raisukaree with no peppers and no red chilies, for $ 14.50. In spite of the no-chilies order, she also had an exceptionally spicy dish, and with only five and a half small chunks of chicken. Due to the heat, she also was unable to finish, and she was similarly unimpressed with the portion size. The manager comped my meal, and I suspect he might have comped my wife’s if she’d complained instead of just saying she was finished, so overall I’m satisfied with how we were treated by the staff. But again, on both counts of flavor and portion size for the cost, wagamama’s didn’t meet our expectations. This was our second visit(in hind-sight I remember my first meal there being unexpectedly spicy), and will be our last.

I do like Wagamama’s. I usually get the chicken katsu curry. It’s very tasty. What bothers me about the restaurant is that it seems as if every server has multiple body piercings in what appear to be the most uncomfortable of places … I squirm just thinking about it. It actually upsets my stomach when I see some of these piercings which then makes it difficult to enjoy my meal. However, I’ve always found the servers to be very knowledgeable about the menu. If there’s a food allergy in your group they’re on it. Also, the meals coming out at all different times isn’t terrible but it’s not terrific either.

Honestly, I had high hopes for this place. But after ordering the noodles, I felt like I got lo mein… at triple the cost. If I wanted lo mein I would of ordered it a some random Chinese joint. It’s glorified Chinese food!

«Dining in the restaurant is kind-of a bad experience. Service takes a very long time and servers are inattentive. It’s hard to flag down your server too; seems as though they are purposely avoiding their customers. The food comes out in very long periods from one another. So don’t expect to have a nice meal with your companions.» Totally agree with this review and had the same experience, but in addition, our waitress couldn’t explain the various options within the menu. Some food arrived right away, some took a LONG time. Waitress explained about the demand imbalance of various food stations in the kitchen… really, how about your kitchen’s delivery«plan» is messed up? Place has potential, but need to train the staff that customers come first. educate the staff on articulating the menu options and fix the less than syncronized kitchen.

The food here is decent. The flavors taste natural and the food is not heavy on the stomach. The only drawback is the ambience. The prices are on par with a casual restaurant, but the place looks like a school cafeteria. Also, be prepared to wait a long time for food and service. I recommend take out.

I took my parents and parents-in-law back a couple times this year. I notice their service was excellent. Look like they improved their process. Service was quick. Food came out at good tasteful temperature. I love wagamama food.

Solid MarketStreet dining option. I usually do takeout, which tends to be quick. They have improved their takeout packaging; however, they do not provide enough broth with plenty of room left in the container. By no means is the food authentic, but it has decent flavor. Go for the chili ramen. Dining in the restaurant is kind-of a bad experience. Service takes a very long time and servers are inattentive. It’s hard to flag down your server too; seems as though they are purposely avoiding their customers. The food comes out in very long periods from one another. So don’t expect to have a nice meal with your companions.

Great location but below average wagamama! I bet most are formula recipes how can you mess that up ?!! Flavourless starter was the first disappointment and then a very DRY main — yaki soba !! Choked me almost. It was totally lifeless!!! And it tasted like a China Rama Chinese take out. Yuck. Thumbs down. The kitchen needs lots of development in cooking. Needs proper flavour training. Prudential center and Cambridge locations are top notch. These locations serve you awesome flavors each time. Noodles will be juicy and succulent. My wife is a great great fan of wagamama right from her UK days, she says she’d never be back to this location until it received continuous 5star reviews in Unilocal(for food, just not service) The only positive factor in this location — Waitresses, they are cool. If you’re this franchise owner and if you are reading this review, time to wake up and do something about your pathetic food line up.

Man this was such a disappointment. I went here after work with my buddies to try out wagamama because I heard some good and bad things about some of the dishes. I wanted to give it a try myself before putting it down and boy were they right. I ordered the wagamama ramen special which looked amazing but tasted far from it, The meat selecton which consisted of bacon, shrimp, chicken, egg, and some other sea item were not too bad they were grilled or pan fried before being added into the broth which was tasty because i could still taste the crispiness. But the worst part was the noodles which is essential in a ramen dish tasted like some form of dough and the texture was way off like a rought taste. Even the dumplings which had a different name had a rubber taste to them and were very bland. If you have tried any other asian cusine or home cooking your taste buds just might fight back. And its not cheap either so come prepared.

We came here for lunch with minimal expectations and found the restaurant to have fresh food and raw juices. What a tremendous treat. Service was brisk and great too.

My wife and I returned to the Lynnfield Wagamama for a third time and, as always, food and service were excellent and didn’t disappoint. Our servers, Miguel and Emily were prompt, attentive and pleasant. As always, we’ll be back. Thanks once again for a great dining experience.

I was so excited for this place because I’ve heard so many great things about the Boston chain… but as someone that loves Asian food, I should’ve known not to listen to all the people(who don’t normally eat Asian food) that raved about it. The food was tasteless to say the least. I ordered their grilled duck ramen and it tasted more like beef than duck… and the duck didn’t even seem like it was grilled. It was disappointing. The only reason why it’s 2 stars is because the service was pretty good.

Got the pad Thai. It was okay. It seems like it was lacking the flavor burst that I come to expect from a good pad Thai. My fiancé got the noodles with beef. He like his dish. On a side note, I’m not a fan of the way they handle the food service. You basically get a different person all throughout the night. Maybe they are trying to model their food service style after Japan, but I don’t think it works. Service seems less personal.

My wife and I went here for dinner wanting to eat and talk together. We both ordered the same dish, and it was great. However, her dish came out first, and after waiting for about 5 – 6 minutes for mine to arrive, she started eating before it got cold. I sat there watching my wife eat for another 10 – 12 minutes before my dish arrived. The staff was very friendly, but the timing and service of the kitchen was very sub-par. I would suggest that they bring the dishes out for the entire table at the exact same time, which really is a basic principle of restaurant customer service. The food was alright, but the late dish really put a damper on what could have been a great time of talking and eating together with my wife.
