I’ve found that, in Boston, at least, even thrift stores are getting expensive. but travel out of the city and you’ll be rewarded. Tucked in between a florist and a liquor store on route 107 in Lynn is a tiny thrift store by the name of St. Vincent’s. I assume it’s run by a church and it is a hidden gem when it comes to quality, cheap clothing. We stumbled on this store when visiting friends and are so glad we did! coats were $ 3 each and many items were buy 1 get 1 free. Quality, new-looking men’s shirts, sweaters and other clothes. Woman’s items too. Kids and a few knickknacks. not a big place but friendly and worth a look.
