I’ve only been here once, but can I just say the food was delicious. Ate here last night at 9 pm, we ordered the carne asada plate and a fish plate called«huachinango.» Both priced under $ 15. We were seated right away with our menus and salsa and chips(1st basket free) The Carne Asada(charbroiled skirt steak) came with yellow rice, cole slaw, pico de gallo, refried beans, an amazing guacamole(I hate guacamole and I asked for more), and green onions. I was truly impressed. The fish was also very tasty. It was an entire fried fish, perfectly fried and seasoned. It was paired with salad, avocado slices, and a lime. I would, actually will be going back for more. They also have a good drink menu. My husband says the margarita was better than anyone he’s had in a long time, and we go out a lot of different places. I had the strawberry piña colada, also delicious, I could not stop drinking it! The décor is very colorful although I am not a fan of the«booths». They have these wooden booth like seats, but the are connected to the person in the booth behind you(its one unit, like a double sided seat) and every time the guy on the other side moved or got up, I was bounce up and down. I found this quit disturbing. The waitresses were very nice, but the service was not all that great, had the food not been so good, I would not return. I’m pretty sure no one spoke English, I am Spanish speaking, but if I did not speak Spanish, I would probably be ordering by pointing at what I wanted. Our drink order was not taken until we ordered our food and had already sat waiting for at least 15 minutes. They had no olives for the margarita. Our drinks then came about 20 minutes later and we never got the water we ordered. People that came in after us actually got their drinks before us. After getting our drinks, a waitress comes over and asks us if we have placed our food order, which we did, when we ordered our drinks. She then apologized and said«sorry, what did you order because the girl that took your order isn’t here anymore and I don’t know what you ordered or if she put the order in.» This was a little frustrating, but she went and put the order in AGAIN and it came out fairly quickly. The food came and it made up for the bad service. Ample parking Live Miarichi Band Every Sunday From 5pm to 9pm

My husband and I found this restaurant yesterday while we were in Lynn. I placed an order to go because we had to get home but would have enjoyed eating in as the restaurant has a cute décor. Our order — the carne asada and carnitas de res — was prepared quickly and was SO delicious! My husband originally wasn’t in the mood for Mexican food but quickly changed his mind when I hopped into the car with a package full of yumminess. Everything was delicious! I was especially pleased with the coleslaw — I’m not a huge coleslaw fan but this was so tasty! If we’re ever back in Lynn, we’ll definitely eat at Hacienda Corona again.

Delicious large menu of authentic Mexican fare. Freshly-made signature drinks including the best Strawberry Margarita I have ever tasted and there is a house tequila that is smooth with a kick but no burn. We always have fun and the people are friendly. Mariachi music performed live on certain nights. Great attention from servers/bartenders.

Food was super salty and kind of just ehhh. Peach Margaritas are good, but mango are way too sweet. Sopidillas are overly fried and saturated in oil. Nice people, kind of gross food.

Tried Hacienda Corona because a friend recommended it. It was one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of dining in. The margaritas were delicious and the salsa was nice and spicy! The food is reasonably priced and extremely good!

By far the best tex-mex in the Boston area. It fits all of the criteria great Mexican food: A bit of a hole in the wall, delicious and cheap! We stop whenever we’re on our way to Nahant.

Si. Hacienda Corona is as good as it gets! It is a stupendous Cal-Mex; Tex-Mex experience! No need to travel to Chicago, San Diego, or Austin for good to great Mexican-American food…

My family and I find this to be the best Mexican food in the area. Delicious enchiladas, chilie rellenos, guacamole, beans, salsa –and don’t forget to ask for their hot sauce– it’s great. I’ve had several other dishes– fish, pork, and beef– all very good. Service is competent and pleasant and the décor is Mexican chic :-). Margaritas are outstanding. Love it.

Unfortunately these people have good food but horrible service. On mothers we made reservations and they rudely denied us our reservation. They came up with an excuse saying people were staying there for«3 hours». No Air conditioning. And honestly this place is way too loud and disorganized. Do yourself a favor and don’t go here.

The fact that it looks like a mcdonalds cracks me up. However the decorations are a little tacky with the alcohol signs everywhere. But we had a nice waitress and the food was pretty good. We got the chicken fajitas. The tortillas were a little hard but everything else was perfect

I really hate to do this because I wanted to like this place. Everyone there is very nice and courteous. My boyfriend and I went a few weeks ago and had a good experience. The food was good(I had the enchiladas, boyfriend had fajitas). Service was a bit slow but I was forgiving because it looked busy. But last night, my experiences there were — sigh — unpleasant. We were seated at a booth along the windows and immediately I felt like I was camping. There were countless fruit flies swarming around my head. A look at the window sill shows at least 20 dead fruit flies. Could you at the very least wipe them up when you’re busing the table? I wanted to gag. It wasn’t very busy but we waited a long time for everything. When we finally got our food(me, enchiladas again, boyfriend, fajitas, again), everything was really good. My food was hot and I was happy. Until my boyfriend noticed a long hair deeply embedded in his dish. Our server never checked on us so my boyfriend sat there for at least 15 minutes gagging, all the while still batting away fruit flies. She wasn’t very apologetic when she did finally check on us but we just asked for the check and left. Two stars instead of one because 1) our first visit was much more pleasant; 2) the décor is really cool in there; and 3) maybe if they get their drosophila problem and hairy line cook problem under control, I would consider going back.

The most authentic Mexican food you’ll outside of the Southwest or even Mexico. Simply the best. Great décor & great staff. Margaritas are fantastic.

Excellent new place on the Lynnway! So excited to have such a great new mexican restaurant close by. Been there four times now highly suggest the pollo chipotle or the spinach enchiladas. The service is fantastic and the drinks are top notch!!!

I went here for the first time last night. I have to say I was impressed. Being from Arizona I have high expectations and I felt they were met. I ate the Corona burrito and it was delicious! Also, it was nice that they brought out chips and salsa like we do back home. My family and I will definitely be returning!

Based on other Unilocal reviews we went to Hacienda Corona tonight for the first time. We will certainly become regulars. First of all it is a warm, colorful and very very clean restaurant. Our server(Monica) was very sweet and very accommodating. Now for the food — homemade salsa and chips — excellent. Monica asked if we liked spice and when we said yes, she brought us a chipotle salsa that was just delicious. My daughter had the arroz con pollo — said it was the best she ever had. I had tacos al carbon and my husband had the carnitas. Generous portions of excellent food. We were on a time limit, so did not have time to have coffee or dessert but I would like to try both next time.

Minus 1 star for horchata or lengue… tripa.Cabeza. .taco was store bought tortilla and it’s not your normal meat in a tortilla with cilantro and onions. its was with tomatoes and lettuce and cheese… not very authentic if u ask me Minus 1 star for no wifi… Besides that nice clean atmosphere. .great service. .pork burritos was good and thier green sauce… which had a tangy flavor to it. .im from cali and I know what authentic Mexican food is… this is not.

Authentic delicious huge portions killer margaritas fresh warm chips and spicy salsa. Tried the fish tacos 3 soft tacos and huge filets of moist fish. The enchilada tres amigas was a huge serving of 3 different enchiladas in their own sauce, even mole! The cocktails were huge and hand mixed & strong. Worth a repeat visit.

Solid authentic Mexican food! We started with complimentary chips and two salsas. Both were delicious. The first one had some heat. It was also a classic salsa(no chunks) The second salsa was less traditional and more like a pico de gallo to appease the gringos. We both ordered gold margaritas= smokey tequila, triple sec and fresh squeezed line juice. At $ 8.50 each they were a tasty treat! My better half ordered the enchiladas w/shrimp and I ordered the chicken and poblano enchiladas w/mole. Holy shit! The sauces alone on both entrees were enough for a five star Unilocal. The mole poblano was complex with subtle savory flavors and a hint of sweetness. The chicken was tender and well seasoned. Our server told us it was a family recipe. The cream sauce inside of the shrimp enchiladas had a nice citrus bite to it. Salsa verde was slathered over the top of both enchiladas. The verde had great flavor profiles backed up with a subtle heat! The sides of rice and refried beans were delicious. My only complaint is ditch the yellow shredded cheese and garnish the beans with with some queso fresco! We finished the night with a delicious apple chimichanga. For the lack of a better description it was basically fried apple pie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Wow! I’ll take this place over the border café any day of the week!

I’ve been waiting for this place to open, driving by it on the Lynnway as it was being renovated(former McDonalds from way back for you old timers). I love Mexican food! And this place does not disappoint. You are greeted by a friendly staff in this well lit nicely decorated large restaurant. Chips and salsa brought to the table to begin. And drinks! Whoah a large beer? It was 32 oz in a great big mug! Someone in our party ordered a Margarita which was large also. Enchiladas, fajitas, and burritos were our orders, kind of staying to the Tex-Mex staples here. Very delicious and lots of it. There are other Mexican traditional dishes on the menu that look great. Dish prices range from $ 8 — $ 17. I will be back. I love to recommend a place like this in Lynn, the owners put a lot of great work into this place. Go on in and try it out! It’s a great time with friends.
