This JIB has got to be the worst one I have ever been to, and I have been going to JIB since 1968. It’s a Crap shoot when you order because you never know what they will be out of this time. One night I pull in the drive thur and 2 employees are outside smoking, I place my order pull to the window, pay and the employee hands me my change, my money smelled of weed. Didn’t even wash his hands. Does JIB ever do aduits like most franchise chains do. The guy in the button down shirt with the big clown head should really drive thur sometimes

The wait time for just a burger and fries was 10 minutes then when I get more food its a big fat sloppy mess! I hate to see what the kitchen looks. like if they cant even keep the wrapper clean! The counter help wasn’t rude however was not real friendly either. The seats are horrible metal backs that are super sharp we now all have scratches on our elbows from them. At least the fire were hot.

Soooo slow and ALWAYS out of something every time we go! The Only reason I go to this jack in the box is cause its a closer drive, but most the time I just go somewhere else!

Sorry for the length of the following but this review cannot be written along the same lines as other diners and various eateries. It’s not about the food. I like JITB food just fine. It’s generally more creative, better prepared and served up in a slightly better fashion than other fast food type outlets. Here’s what went down: After coming back from a weekend stay in Vancouver(b.c.) and eating nothing but Asian this and that the whole time, I craved a burger or at least somthing that came with a bun around it and some fries. Shorlty after we crossed the border, we spotted Jack in the Box at Lynden. Perfect. Lets go there. We walk in the door and the place is out of control. Not that many people actually there but the crew was a total trainwreck. The kid who attempted to take my order was so out of his element. I ordered a Burger, no tomato and a milk shake. Period. He couldnt grasp it. He kept adding fries and bacon and turning it into a #1 or adding items that I never talked about in the first place. He finally rang it up more or less correct(he added bacon to the burger again, but whatever) and then began the real show. Customers who had received their food were coming up to the counter with wrong orders, food that wasnt their’s, perhaps someone elses and refunds were going out one after another. Expletive deleteds abounded. «F» bombs everywhere. A family of six came in and I thought to myself«this poor undertrained, overwhelmed kid with a degree from the«College of Mumbles» was going to melt down… He was so confused and confounded and it just kept getting worse. and NOONE was helping him. MEANWHILE, action was a-plenty behind the counter. Employees were yelling at each other and tempers were flaring. Behind the counter there was food debris everywhere. The dining room hadnt been touched in a good while. All this time their were customers at the counter wondering where the hell their order was. The drive-thru had cars wrapped around the building. Some people were coming in(after going thru the lengthy drive-thru) and complaining about botched orders or missing items. Finally, after about a 20 minute wait, I asked the kid what the status of my order. He looked at a screen and offered that it «should be pretty soon».He really didnt have any idea. He just didnt know. A minute or two later he gives me my order, I get out to the car, open the box and it’s a chicken somthing or other. someone elses order. I threw in the towel and asked for a refund. He had to go get the manager to do that. And that’s not the end of the story but you get the idea. Here was a fast food place with NOMANAGER doing the most fundamental of manager jobs, that being a traffic cop and director of people. She was clearly doing neither. This place was crazy out of control. Disjointed service and messy almost filthy conditions. One of the toilets in the ladies restroom had an «out of order» sign on it. I think I know what that usually means. Jack in the Box resteraunts are generally very good places to jump in to and get a bite. Like any business that serves up fast food, you have your hot and cold days, but I have NEVER seen anything like this, ever. It would have been an excellent You-Tube video if I had the camera. Entertainment, but like a traffic accident that you couldnt take your eyes off of. You almost wanted to go back in just to watch. Bottom line: Fire the manager and fire the person that hired that manager. Jack in the Box is way better than this and corporatly, they know that.
