They had a sign out front hyping their ribs. Never had ribs here, but was in the mood, so we went in. Ordered the«Cajun Spicy» ribs and a side caesar salad. The salad came out on a plate the size of a cell phone, the lettuce was white and the caesar dressing was NOT caesar. I have no idea what it was but it was not not so good. The rib portion was plentiful but the«cajun» sauce was anything but cajun. I have traveled extensively and stayed in cajun country quite a lot and have eaten lots of authentic cajun food, and I love it. The sauce was overwhelmingly loaded with honey, a little bit of spice but I could not figure out the spice. The amount of honey made the sauce thick, sticky and sicky sweet(Def Leopard would approve). Nothing about the ribs remotely reminded me of cajun. The ribs were mushy, not fall of the bone but more like«slide» of the bone. Wife had a bacon cheeseburger that she said was OK. Won’t be back.

Today I had an opportunity to eat at this restaurant, again, and my rating moves from 4 stars to 5 stars. I ordered a steak with salad Bar and my wife a chicken dish. The food was excellent. Salad Bar fresh, steak cooked perfectly and my wife loved her dish. Our server(Samantha) was very friendly and did an excellent job. I spoke with the manager(Christie) and told her I was amazed that the food was prepared so well. If I were opening a restaurant, I would have gone to the kitchen and try to convince the cook to work at my restaurant. I honestly don’t think I could have eaten better food at twice the price. If all Ruby Tuesday restaurants provide this high quality food and service they should be very successful.

Should have known better when we arrived for supper and the parking lot was almost empty. No one hosting at the door; someone surfaced from the back after a few minutes. Waitress to me that these ink specials were only good if you were sitting at the bar. Huh? Anyway she took our order and said she would be back with some bread. We went to the salad bar. It looked and tasted like it had been left out from lunch. We got our entrees when we were only half way through our salad. I had ordered a bacon cheddar burger, cooked medium. It came out well done. Two very small thin strips of bacon on the burger. Almost no mayonnaise on it at all. Fries were the typical mass produced frozen variety, no seasoning, low quality. All in all a very disappointing experience. The waitress never brought out any bread, either…

Have eaten here for years and seen this place decline. It was a place with good food and a awesome salad bar now it’s a place with a lot of $ 10 burgers and a dirty salad bar. To many menu changes and just sloppy management. If you want the salad bar I can see eating here but other than that so many other places

Our party of seven had a wonderful experience last Saturday. Our waiter, Gregory, was polite, helpful and always ready with drink refills and quickly removed our empty plates. My four year old daughter enjoyed the popcorn shrimp, apples, grapes and french fries from the kid’s menu. I like the cheddar minis with the fried pickles — delicious! My husband had the Hickory Bourbon Chicken which he said was delicious, but was a bit spicier than he had anticipated. The rest of our party had burgers and we all had the garden salad bar. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because the salad plates were warm and the salad bar was running a bit low on quite a few of the items. Mr. Smith, the new manager there, came out to meet us — nice guy and very personable. I always enjoy Ruby Tuesday’s, and this one is top notch.

It seems like a lot of people do not like Ruby Tuesdays. I am NOT one of those. Ruby Tuesdays is a restaurant that we go to at least once a week. Here you will find one of the best salad bars in Lynchburg. The salad and toppings are fresh and delicious. There is a wide variety of salad dressings to choose from. Last night I had the New Orleans seafood platter. This is one of the top menu items in my opinion which includes tilapia covered with a sauce with shrimp on top. I had it with mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini. It was absolutely delicious. The fish is a little spicy but not so spicy that it is not enjoyable. The grilled zucchini is always fantastic. Other items that I have had there include the sirloin steak which is nice and tender, the grilled salmon, the Hickory bourbon salmon which has a nice sauce on it, and the chicken fresco is also a delightful meal. As far as the burgers go, my favorite is the Portobello crispy onion pretzel cheeseburger with Swiss cheese, mushrooms and fries. With the salad bar and any of these meals I find myself satisfied when I leave. The iced tea is great the coffee is good and the white chocolate cherry cheesecake is out of this world. When I go I always ask to be seated where the waiter Chaz is working. He is the greatest waiter I’ve ever had. He is on top of everything and you seldom get to see the bottom of your glass. He is very attentive and pleasant and does not disappear like other waiters and waitresses.

Tried 3 times and finally said«Nope, not wasting anymore money». the final straw was on Fathers Day and it was a horrific experience, ended up leaving half way through and going to Apple Bee’s to try to salvage the dinner. Management is AWFUL, food was under cooked and my daughter even complained(she’s 2)…steer clear of this place!!!

This Ruby Tuesday’s was excellent! I went with my partner for our anniversary and we were seated immediately, even though it was a weekend. The host and our waiter were very helpful and friendly, and our waiter was very attentive to our needs. The food we order was fantastic as well. I ordered the Petite Sirloin with a loaded baked potato and green beans. The steak was a little more cooked than I would’ve liked, but it still tasted delicious and wasn’t tough or chewy. The loaded baked potato had a good proportion of toppings and the potato was cooked well. The fresh green beans were my favorite part of the meal. They were gone before I’d had my plate for five minutes. Just delicious. My partner ordered their Strawberry Lemonade, which actually uses fresh juice and actual crushed strawberries. It was a little tart for his taste, but I loved it. He got the bacon cheeseburger with fries and thoroughly enjoyed both. We will definitely be returning to this location in the future!

I used to not be a big fan of Ruby Tuesday’s but over the past few years they have changed their image as well as there food options. The experience I had at this location was excellent and gives me a reason to go back at some point. I went in to grab a bite to eat after having a long day of five law school midterms and was just trying to get away from my apartment. Went into the restaurant and was seated right away; they were only moderately busy for this time on a Friday night. The waitress came right away to see what I wanted to drink and encouraged me to go check out the salad bar before I ordered anything. The salad bar looked very fresh and I decided to order it along with my Hickory Bourbon Salmon and Fresh Grilled Zucchini. I love that the salad bar contained spinach instead of just iceberg lettuce as most restaurants have. Iceberg is not worth the space it takes up in your stomach. I tried everything on the salad bar and it was fresh and of a good quality. My fish as well as the zucchini was properly cooked and tasted like they were of a good quality for a chain restaurant. The service was excellent and the waitress was continually on top of my needs. She took time to ask me how my day was going and what I had been up to. She also was willing to bring me another biscuit when I asked for one a brought me two. This was a great casual and quick dining experience and I would recommend this establishment to others even though other reviews are not good.

This was to be my birthday dinner with my sons. I wish I had looked online for reviews before our visit. It seems this particular restaurant has issues with service and getting orders correct and that was true in our case as well. The appetizer came before the drinks(coffee, soda, and water). My wine took at least 15 minutes to arrive. Our server seemed unfamiliar with the menu, couldn’t answer questions and didn’t offer to find out for us. I ended up ordering a burger instead of Ribs and Bacon-wrapped Shrimp because she didn’t know if the sauce tasted like peaches. One of my sons and I ordered the Triple Prime Bacon Cheddar Burger. The burgers delivered to the table were plain. No cheese, no bacon, just lettuce and a tomato slice. One of them had ketchup on the side but the other had none.(not ordered that way) When we discovered the error, our server was nowhere to be seen so we flagged down another who said she’d get the manager. The manager came, took the plates and did not apologize for the mistake. The burgers were returned almost 15 minutes later — reheated with cold cheese and bacon added. I don’t know why that took 15 minutes. Near the end of the meal, I ordered a frozen raspberry daiquiri. After 15 minutes, I asked that the order be cancelled. The excuse given throughout the meal was that our waitress was busy with a party of 20 seated near us. However, shortly after our arrival, we heard them singing Happy Birthday and we rarely saw our waitress there(or at our table). Even if she was busy, that didn’t excuse the kitchen errors. I’ve been to other Ruby Tuesdays and enjoyed myself. I’m not sure I’ll be back to this one. By the way, the only person who ever apologized for any of the problems was our waitress. The manager never did and I’m not sure why she even bothered to get involved.

The dinner I had there was so bad, if they offered me free meals for life to make up for it, I’d refuse. The salad bar was OK. Limited selections with many containers left empty but what was there was good. If they were known as Salads-R-Us, I would have given them a couple more stars. But they’re known for their entrees… unfortunately. My ‘Chef Cut Sirloin’ has three distinct flavors: leather, jerky and charcoal. Two hours later, I’m still picking pieces of carbon out of my teeth! The potato mash that came with it was a stale, over-microwaved disaster that reminded me of a cross between plaster and paste. My wife’s ‘Salmon Florentine’ looked nothing like that in the advert. Instead of the advertized drizzle of florentine sauce, it looked like someone had regurgitated some all over it. I guess they did this to disguise the flavorless salmon fillet. To add insult to injury, they demanded $ 40.10 for this cacophony of culinary disaster. When, after my wife’s and my appointment(which is why we couldn’t deal with this at the restaurant), we called the manager to sort this out, he blamed the waiter(who was excellent, attentive and the best part of our visit) and said that their new system didn’t allow then to issue refunds. DISGRACEFUL!

Went in for lunch today. Took at least 30 mins to get our meal and they weren’t even super busy. Husband ordered the crab cakes which were burned on the outside and they breaking was mushy in the inside. My burger was well dano though I ordered it medium and both of us had cold fries. My sons’ grapes were mushy and my zucchini was burnt on one side. Overall it was overpriced and very poor quality!

I’ve eaten here a handful of times since I moved to the area about eight years ago. In that handful of times, I’ve had experienced more than one occasion of poor service. On my last visit, my wife and I placed an order online to pick up. Even though the online form asks what type of car you drive, you still have to go in for your food. No big deal, but I suppose I was spoiled by the Applebee’s does it better. When you go in to get your food, though, you have to go the bar. Strange. The person at the bar had to get a manager to operate his register before I could pay for my order, which was a long wait. When the manager finally appeared, he said that this was a new system that they were all still getting used to… and continued to make this excuse. I heard it three times before I left. When I finally made it back to my car, I opened the bag to discover only two burger inside, and no fries. I went back in to ask for the fries that should have accompanied the order(and were specifically included in the online order form), and was told that sides typically weren’t included in carry out orders. Apparently, they thought that I was paying over $ 20 for two burgers. Then, the person behind the bar said that he would go see if there were any in the back that he could box up for me, as though he were going out of his way to do me a favor. Insult to injury? It was very mediocre burger that wasn’t prepared the way the online menu described. This was my last visit to Ruby Tuesday’s.

Service was good the food was decent. The reason for going was we received a free $ 10 gift card in the mail. I like that they offer you free cheddar biscuits but when compared to Red Lobster’s biscuits they don’t come close. The biscuits are sweet tasting which doesn’t really bother me but they are very small and they only bring you two. I don’t think I would have asked for more anyway. Salad bar was great! I got the ribs, they were tender but lack some flavor. Fries were just ok. The steamed broccoli had good flavor. Our waitress was attentive and friendly not bad but not great. My wife got the chicken three ways and she liked it, not amazing but ok. One thing that puzzled me is I could have ordered a burger and got the salad bar, but I got the ribs and had to add the salad bar, that didn’t make me too happy. The Boston Blue burger is good, I have had it there before. Chain or no chain it was ok!

I had an absolutely horrible experience. To start off it took over 30 minutes to get all of our drinks. We had to ask the waitress more than once to bring something out. The food was cold and only mediocre. I ordered the chicken three way which was supposed to be served over rice and come with 2 sides. They didn’t even put the rice on the plate and one of my sides never came out. The Chicken was so hard that I had trouble even getting my fork through the outer crust. 4 out of the 5 people at my table had something wrong with there dish. The waitress did not apologize once even though we told her about the issues we had. Needless to say it ended up taking them 2 hours and 10 minutes for us to have dinner. I would never go to this place again. Horrible service, horrible food, horrible restaurant.

Crap food, warm beer, and it gives me the runs every time I eat here. They also have a nazi alcohol code. You WILL be «cut-off» after a few drinks. Go to BW3’s(right behind Ruby’s) if you want to enjoy crap food, good and cold beer, and want to be treated as an adult with your choice to enjoy«adult» beverages. Nothing to see here, move along.

It’s a chain, so, wtf can I say??? They have a salad bar, everything is fresh. The rest of the food is just like Chili’s — crap on a stick. Blah, bah, boom.
