Pizza Hut

Not a fan of this place at all.
First off, my regular location in 5 town closed down so this location is the closest to me now.
This Pizza Hut is very disappointing. The young lady that answered my phone call sounded as if she was answering her house phone. She took my order so bland. No professionalism whatsoever.
I went to pick up my pizza which was ready on arrival which was a plus. There’s plenty of seating to dine in but I wouldn’t recommend.
The inside looks so old and outdated. Definitely not somewhere that you would want to sit and eat your meal. Some renovations would be nice.
The pizza in my opinion was really dry. It needed more sauce.
Would I return? Probably not.

I ordered online. Drove to pick it up. Waited over an hour to pick it up, they never even made my order. They had long lines for online ordering, then they tricked people into paying and then waiting another 45 minutes (I know because I asked other patrons before leaving). I quit Pizza Hut entirely.

Decided to try new place to have pizza and it was horrible! The service was slow, lacking customer and the pizza took 45 minutes for it to come. When the pizza finally arrived, we requested plates and the waitress walked away and we noticed that she was taking too long so we decided to get our own plates. The pizza was horrible!

Unfortunately this is the only one near my house. Extremely slow service. I recommend going here BEFORE you are hungry because you will be waiting more than 45 mins for a personal pie

We did take out. Ordered online, the pizza was ready within 30−40min. The pizza was okay, I remember Pizza Hut usually tasting much better though. We got the holiday special triple treat box, such an amazing deal ! You get two one topping pizzas, bread sticks, and the ultimate chocolate chip cookie ! The breadsticks and cookie was very delicious. Will probably get this deal again before it ends.

Worst customer service I have ever seen. Tried to call in my order someone would pick up and say something didn’t understand what he said and I waited on hold and nothing so I decided to go to the restaurant maybe they are busy I go in and it’s empty no one working even the the manager all sitting on there ass so I walked out never go here again.

Found a finger nail in my stuff crust today. Never will I there ever again! I will also tell my friends and family no to go there again.

Sadly, this is the only location near me and this location leaves a lot to be desired. When you go to a Pizza Hut you expect the same type of service, taste and pricing that you get at any other location of Pizza Hut that you have been to. Well this location in Lynbrook, somehow finds a way to not have all of that and makes you not want to come back over and over again. It is easily one of the worst run locations that I have ever been to.
I have had so many weird situations with the management and help there that it makes ordering a pizza from them scary as you never know what to expect. One time I ordered on line and went to pick it up and they told me it wasn’t ready yet. I was told that they tried to call back the phone number I used and since no one answered they didn’t bother to make the pizza. I told them that I ordered from an ipod touch, how could I answer the phone if I’m not home. They shrugged and asked if I wanted to wait for them to make it now. I told them no and left.
Another time I picked up my pizza and they told me they had to charge me a different rate for mine. They told me they accidentally charged my fee to the customer before me so I have to pay the other persons to make it even. I told them there was no way I was doing that and said I would just walk out and you lose money all together. How is it my fault that you charged the wrong amount to someone? He relented and gave in.
Heck one time they didn’t even bother to put sauce with my breadsticks as they just flat out ran out and still sold the breadsticks anyway knowing this. I mean this stuff doesn’t seem like it can happen but it all did.
And then there was the time I brought my pizza home to find that the pizza was stale and the breadsticks were burnt to a crisp. I contacted the main company to complain about it and I got a refund sent to me after they investigated it and all my other complaints further finding that they were true.
Everytime I go there you never know what to expect. This place is run like pure garbage. Its dirty when you go in. The help staff seems less then interseted in helping. The managers are all cheap and don’t care about good quality but about saving a buck by giving bad food. How can you run a franchise location like this?
I am giving it a two instead of a one as the place has gotten slightly better since all of my (and I assume others) complaints. The food is now as expected. They always make my food whether they get me on the phone or not after ordering it. I haven’t had a problem for a few months so I have to hope the main company got involved and they got their act together. Time will tell.
The food itself, well its Pizza Hut. No its not the best pizza in the world but its Pizza Hut and now that they are getting their act together over there a little bit its actually what I expect to get when I place an order here.
I really hope that they change the management here (if they haven’t already) as this place is just poorly managed and they never should have been allowed to get a franchise. Its sad that the other locations in the area (Oceanside) closed down so long ago and this is the only one we are left with here in the area. If I could avoid the place I would, but I do enjoy something different every now and then and if I want Pizza Hut it will have to do.
But don’t let them bully, try to get away with stuff against or intimidate you. Its a pizza place. Their job is to serve the pizza the way you ordered it without the other funny business mixed in. Its Pizza Hut. You should go there and get the service and pizza you expect. If you don’t, walk out and report them to the company. This place has to answer for their treatment of people too and they best remember that. I will continue to go here as its the only game in town but I will not be afraid to report them any and everytime they do nonsense like this to me and others.

Let me just say that food is good. I won’t complain about that. So if your taking out, service «shouldn’t» be a problem. But if you sit down to eat expect a bad day. Staff is not attentive. Me and my wife ate here numerous times and while the food is good. The service is always bad. One time, we told the guy we wanted a certain pizza. After waiting he brings out the wrong order. We told him that it was wrong and that’s not what we ordered. He first tried to blame it on my wife who put the order in. She told the guy that she ordered it specifically and he put it down wrong. Then the guy said for us to just try it and eat it. So that way we would eat something we didn’t want or ordered and then pay for it? No thanks. The guy gets mad that we didn’t want to eat that pizza so we told him him we would go somewhere else because we were starving and we also didn’t want them to spit in our food. The guy INSISTED we stay and they will make the pie we want. My wife and I hesitantly look at each other and we just said fine. 5 minutes later the guy comes out and says it will be an extra 4 bucks to make our pizza because we didn’t eat the other one. ARE YOU KIDDING? Me and my wife walked out.
Moral of the story: Use their take out if you want some good ol Pizza Hut.

All I can say is that I’ve never experienced such terrible service in all my life. Granted, I didn’t have much expectations in the first place, given that it’s a fast food restaurant. But the service and the environment is just terrible. There are flies all over the place, and when they’re not flying on your food they’re laying dead on the windowsill. Our attendant was apathetic and uninterested, caring very little for what we needed. Our drinks were nothing like what we ordered, and as the food came the attendant ignored our pile of dirty dishes even though we had held it out for her to take it. Then we had the wrong pizza brought out to us, and we were told that it was instead for another customer. When we’ve had enough of the terrible service, we decided to ask for boxes to pack up all the leftovers and our dessert that was to come. They gave us one small box for us to fit 6 large slices of pizza. When we looked back to see if she were bringing us our dessert, we found she had changed out of her uniform and she left, without servicing us first. It was an altogether terrible experience, which may say a lot considering the already low expectations one may have about a fast food restaurant such as this.

New management has really improved this pizza hut. The buffet is now very good with excellent attentive service.

Don’t miss out on this gem in Lynbrook.

I come here once every 2 years especially when I am PMS’ing because I forget what greasy goo tastes like. My husband and I stopped in after working overtime and just needing to refuel and fill our belly. Pretty empty, It was FREEZING inside. I mean really, like they had no heat on or had the window open. We should have left but we didn’t. The pizza was typical pizza hut pizza, and we both agreed that it seemed to be much cleaner than the last time we went there (2 years ago). Regardless, this place needs to get updated.

I’ve been coming here for years and I just don’t understand the really low reviews for this pizza hut. Are there high expectations for pizza hut?
It’s a pretty standard pizza hut. You’ll find the same pizza here as you will in all other pizza huts in the area. It’s also a better pizza hut than many on the island, especially better than Five Towns Pizza Hut. I have never had a problem with service here like other reviews. The people who work here are pretty cool. And I’ve never had a long wait while dining in or carrying out. This is definitely my go-​to Pizza Hut when the family wants Pizza Hut.

It’s fast food pizza, so don’t expect anything gourmet or authentic like you’ll find in Italy or Brooklyn.
I ordered online and my pizza was waiting for me when I arrived. The staff didn’t include my marinara sauce, so I informed them before heading back to my car and they provided it with courtesy. They are very generous in doling out the packets of crushed red pepper.
This location does dine-​in and carry-​out only and currently the ordering system will not let you pay online or set a later pick-​up time — so it defaults to 25 – 30 minutes, at least on a Friday evening around 6 PM.
Quality-​wise, it was decent and the $ 10 for any size pizza, any toppings is a good deal. Pizza Hut charges $ 2 for extra cheese, since that’s a core ingredient of pizza and not a topping. Deal with it, just be happy to live in America.
As for dining there, the atmosphere is a bit gloomy — and has been for as long as I remember. I’d opt for carry-​out, unless you’re into the macabre.

«Heaven. I’m in Stuffed Crust Heaven…» Oh excuse me, I was in the middle of writing a review now wasn’t I? Who knew a chain pizza place would rank pretty high up there in my list of pizza joints?
I remember going to this particular Hut as a kid (early 90’s,) and it being GROSS!
One particular (hungover) weekend in this decade, I was feeling extra chubby, and didn’t give a rats ass if I fit into my «work pants» on Monday. So, Pizza Hut here I came! I ordered online (yay 2011!) It was easy to navigate the website, place the order, and get exactly what I was craving (half pepperoni, half cheese, ALL stuffed crust.)
Arrived at the counter around 20 minutes later and my pizza was ready! I was a little surprised. I ventured home to indulge in my delicious fattiness. OMG… the pizza was so cheesy, greasy and so pepperoni-​y. It was awesome. I saved that crust for last and yeah… it was worth it… every. last. calorie.
Would I order from Pizza Hut every week? No. It is totally an indulge, thank God I have nothing to do the rest of the weekend, food.
I was impressed with the efficient online ordering. I guess I just thought I’d be waiting even though after the order is placed, they give you the time it will be ready. There were people waiting that looked annoyed, so I just figured I’d be joining the queue.
I was happy with my overall take-​out experience at this Pizza Hut… I do not plan on dining in anytime soon though. No need to relive my 90’s…

It’s an unimpressive establishment.
It’s spacious with a questionable looking salad bar in the middle.
The booths feel sticky most of the times, one or two have patches of duct tape on it.
Service: B–
The management here is pretty bad.
Every time we go there it seems like there’s only at least 2 people working at one time. There’s one unfortunate individuals who caters to the people dining in as take-​out people.
There must be 1 or 2 people in the kitchen, but if you decide to dine in it feels like you are waiting for our server to make your food as well.
I feel bad for these people, but their work ethic is questionable as well.
One time my bf picked up pizza, the guy at the cash register said something like «this is hard to when you’re high.» Sweet.
Food: A
It’s good solid pizza hut food. It has the same quality and taste as the fanciest and most dive-​y of pizza hut establishments.
The pan pizza and the stuffed crust pizza are great. The bread sticks are addicting and the wings are spicy and delicious.
The pastas are mediocre; I would stick with the aforementioned dishes.
Overall, this is the only pizza hut close to where we live so we have no other choice but to come here when we have a craving for pan pizza. Take-​out is decent, they have the food ready in 20 minutes.
It’s not worth it to dine in.
TIP:
Check your food for take-​out. Sometimes they forget things like marinara sauce or blue cheese dip.

They need to close this place.
I saw the awful reviews on Unilocal and other places, and I knew this place was indeed awful a few years ago, but I thought surely it must have gotten its act together, so I let my kids talk me into ordering tonight.
The pizza was RANCID.

This place has the slowest service (eat in OR take out) that I have ever experienced … any day of the week, any time of the evening!
Expect to wait a long, long, long time.
They are chronically understaffed, especially since they are very busy.
This is the closest Pizza Hut to our home, and we will only do take-​out from them now. We drive 20+ minutes to the location in Westbury for a nice peaceful dinner out!
