Went there last fri jan 29 to see the worst country band ever, the food was way over priced and tasted nasty. Took 10 min to get a server to our table and another 45 min to get our food. The only good thing was the seating area that they changed around. The club part still looks like the nasty LA hangout with the same black walls that makes you feel like your in a dungeon. It’s a shame since I live in Avila that I won’t be going back nor will I recommend it to my friends.

I agree with Henry about Beth’s review. My wife and I live close and there really is not much around here. We were looking forward to this place opening. The food was fantastic and the service was really good. We had wings and crab soup. The wings had a lot of meat on them and the flavor was original and tasty. You should try this place out if you’re in the area.

Here for the music side of the establishment. For anyone who came here in the LA Hangout days they should come back to visit the new place. Can’t believe what a great job the new owners did with renovating! Truly feels like a live music venue now!!! Even better that it’s a non-​smoking venue. Makes the experience so much more enjoyable! Thank you for doing a fantastic job of making this into a place I can’t wait to come back to!!!

I recently also visited he Rooster like Beth did. I had the crab cakes that were very large and had plenty of crab in them. Beth gave one star for not getting her precious drink order in less than 10 minutes on the opening weekend of the business. She is what is wrong with Unilocal

This is a new bar and grill which just opened. I live across the street and have been looking forward to the opening since there is limited choices in the neighborhood. Unfortunately I can’t give any stars. My fiancé and I walked in and were promptly seated. However after 10 minutes we were not even asked for a drink order. There were only two other tables with patrons so they were not busy. The servers never even acknowledged us so we left. Hopefully things will improve but I’m not sure when we’ll try it again.
