Excellent local restaurant. Chef plated food in an affordable price. Thin oven pizza made to order. Fresh salads.

I’ve been here twice and they’re really good. I had this potato/rice/breaded/cheese square thing that came with my filet– it was amazing! I look forward to trying it out again so I can update my review.

That was delicious! I also celebrated my birthday here today. They gave me complimentary birthday tiramisu. Now, I am not much of a dessert person, but OMG was this good! I ate all of it! My son was looking for alfredo on the menu and didn’t see it, so he asked if they had any. They made him homemade chicken alfredo!!! And it wasn’t even on the menu! He was in absolute heaven! We also ordered the Fiocchi di Enzo and thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered the Filetto Mignon Deana and it came with fingerling potatoes and was soooo good, cooked just perfectly! One thing I got to try here was bolgheri wine. They do sell it by the glass now. It was absolute heaven(red wine lovers, this is a must try). The service was outstanding as well. We were super duper happy. Word of advice, we had a 5:30 reservation on a Wednesday. We walked in and I thought, ‘what’s the big deal with reservations?’. There were only 2 tables occupied when we walked in. I am telling you, though, that by 6PM… standing room only. This place fills up FAST! Heed the warnings and make a reservation.

I wanted to love this restaurant so bad. We were celebrating my birthday so based on the rave reviews it seemed like a good choice. I ordered the Ossobucco because it’s my favorite dish. I usually cook it myself, but veal shank the appropriate Ossobucco cut is hard to find. When I saw it on the menu I didn’t think twice to read the description because I have had it so many times I thought ‘I knew what I was getting’. Turns out they substitute veal shank with pork, presumably because it’s cheaper and easier to find. However, the problem is that it’s going to sacrifice the veal’s tenderness. Furthermore, it had like this balsamic sauce of top which was just really confusing and didn’t have the sauce that you cook it with. Ossobucco is supposed to ressemble more a stew and less a porkchop. Speaking of porkchops, I was so dissapointed my dad traded with me the stuffed porkchop he ordered which was overcooked. When I complained to the waiter he said he had never heard the critique of the Ossobucco before and walked away. Then to finish off the dinner with a bang, I ordered the coffee Crème Brûlée. Crème Brûlée means burnt cream in French, because you guessed it, it’s burnt cream. My Crème Brûlée was basically a coffee moose. It was neither crème nor brûle. It was really an underwhelming experience, unless you’re into overpriced mediocre«Italian» food.

Had such an amazing experience here! The food was amazing and the wine selection was very impressive. We had a shared pizza for appetizer which was really good, totally authentic. I am so used to NY style pizza since I’m from NYC so something different with that Italian feel was such a treat. My risotto was amazing and the family owned atmosphere made me feel at home. I will be back! My favorite thing was that was not your average traditional Italian restaurant, don’t expect spaghetti and meatballs here, it’s a whole new ballgame here that made us want more

Love Nabruzzi Westchase! We started at the bar and began with a nice glass of red wine. It’s beautifully decorated and has a very classy rustic European vibe. My fiancé had the risotto special with filet that was to die for. I went with the Blackened salmon special with Polenta and green beans which was also cooked to perfection. Very excited to finally have a found spot in Westchase that will keep me coming back! Compliments to the chef

Came to this place to celebrate a birthday, and it was very nice. It’s located in a quiet area of town, but the food was so yummy. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was very nice as well. A bunch of us ordered their pizza which were all great… especially the classic Margarita. The apps were all very tasty as well. They were out of their chocolate cake when we came which was a bit of a bummer, but the others were all great too. Random thought, but I really liked their bread & olive oil. They added a few toppings which made it extra special. The entrees took a little while, but be patient because it was all with it! I’d say that the prices were pretty reasonable as well, especially for a mom/pop type restaurant versus the chain places.

The Italian food here was tasteful. From bread and dipping sauce, to appetizer, entrée, desserts they were all delicious. This may be the reason we need reservation in order to get a table on weekend. I have the chicken Valentino and I chose the soup of the day. The pea soup was creamy with a good flavor. The chicken Valentino impressed me. Stuffed, roll up chicken breast with crunchy coating served over pasta with afredo sauce. Excellent flavor, texture, presentation showed that the chef was skillful and paid attention to the detail. The service was also outstanding. Their pricing was compatible with other famous chain Italian restaurants and yet the food here is much more better. They are so popular and another new restaurant is opening in Westchase next week.

I would said the best Italian restaurant for my list. Please read on why they did not get 5 stars. Do I come back. Hack yes. Hopefully I can give them a 5 stars next time. Before you come to this restaurant, you need to know a few thing. 1. Do not just show up. Make a reservation. Even though they said is highly recommended, I said is a must. Almost every day for people just walk in they have to wait for 2.5 hours at dinner time. If you don’t have reservation, come at the time they open. 2. Go for the menu items. They are match the value of the food. 3. Be patient. They really don’t have much help on the kitchen since it always back up on the order. Today we show up with reservation and we still have to wait for our table to be ready. Not a long wait. While waiting there is a special of the day on the board for your choices. We have appetizer and pre-meal item that come with the entrée. The first course is about 30 minutes. But the entrée is about an hour wait. I did ask the waiter why. They have accommodated with addition wine and dessert no charge for our situation. We begin our appetizer with Vongole Marechiara. It is the baby pasta clams sautéed with garlic, basil, and white wine sauce. The sauce is great. Please ask a loaf of bread to go with it. It is excellent dipping the bread in this sauce. The baby clam is about 25 to 30 count. But they are small portion in the big bowl. They taste very good. My entrée is the special on the board. Pan seared blacken Scottish Salmon on top of roasted slice potato with house cure pork belly. The salmon cook just right and the fish is fresh. The cure pork belly is awesome. It is a bit pricy for this dish. The entrée come with the soup or salad of your choice. The restaurant only have the wine and beer for alcohol. We were accommodated with great dessert for the time lost while waiting. Seem like they have a smaller kitchen. This may be the only area they need to improve. Increase the speed of food preparation or bigger kitchen. Don’t let the customer wait. The dessert is magnificent. They brought out the Tiramisu, Cannoli, Lemon Cake, and pyramid chocolate. It look awesome when they are in one big plate. I applause they accommodated the customer long wait time.

Little hidden gem in a small strip center. You have missed out for years if you are near here and have not tried the food. Pear and cheese stuffed pasta for an app(I know, was scared at first and now I have to get 2 orders) and one of the best pork shanks you can get. I didn’t want to write a review as this place is already busy with locals that know about it and now they are gonna be even more crowded! Enjoy and thank me later!

Very classy Italian restaurant for being in a plaza. Service was great and very professional! Timing for food was perfect! Awesome wine list and a great variety of food on the menu. Prices are pretty reasonable and definitely worth it. Presentation of food set a nice tone for dinner. Very impressed!

Extremely disappointed by my latest experience here. Came for dinner on a Saturday night and the restaurant is empty but the only«available» seats were at the high top tables… This already put a bad taste in my mouth. To make it worse the 8 teenage hostesses never apologized and demanded that we move after we sat down because we took up two seats by not sitting on the end. Just wow! We decided to take our business elsewhere.

I had a taste for Italian food and when I saw the Unilocal ratings for this establishment, I knew I wanted to try it. We were starving, so we ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer. It was not bad, I ended up dipping it in the plate of the fresh olive oil mix. The dipping olive oil was my favorite item of the night. I also ordered the tomato bisque soup, unfortunately it tasted exactly like a it originated from a Campbell’s soup can, it was just ok. My date & I both ordered the lobster ravioli. When we first started eating it, it was a four, but at the end when it cooled down it dropped to a two. Seems like the flavor and the texture were lacking something. It’s a good place to bring the family, but in my opinion, it’s not very romantic for a date night.

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Tampa. It’s small, so I recommend making reservations. I’ve had many different things on the menu from special pasta dishes of the day, to chicken, steak, and our family favorite… Pizza! The food is always beautiful and delicious. The limoncello cake and chocolate volcano are wonderful! Be aware, according to our last server, bread and the yummy olive oil, Parmesan, sundried tomato dip, is no longer served when ordering 2 pizzas. With exception of my last visit(last week), the service has been on spot and fairly quick. I took a star off due to my service last week. Our server did not refill our drinks and was borderline rude. I noticed many new servers on my visit. I have a favorite server and I need to learn her name. She truly adds to the experience with her enthusiasm over the food, great pronunciation of the dishes and cheerful disposition. Lastly, the restaurant is modern, clean and the pizza oven is pretty cool. My daughter enjoys drawing on the paper on the table with the provided crayons.

Wow. So glad that we have this place up in this side of town! South Tampa usually dominates the food scene, but this place is a gem. Came here with my parents on break from school and I can’t believe we hadn’t tried it earlier. The complimentary bread with dipping oil includes thinly sliced Parmesan and a delicious olive tapenade. My mom and I both ordered pasta dishes, and this is far from ordinary pasta. If you’ve ever had fresh pasta, made from scratch, you know what I mean. You can taste the difference. Mine had a vodka sauce and my mom’s had a cherry tomato sauce, I believe. Both of them were incredibly rich, delicious sauces. Many of the pasta options included bacon or prosciutto, so you really can’t go wrong. My mouth is watering just thinking of them. My dad ordered a veal dish, which included a smaller portion of their delicious tagliatelle noodles. He only gave me one bite of it, so I think it’s safe to say he enjoyed it immensely. No complaints about the service either, and very reasonable prices. We were told the owner of this place moved from Italy to New York, and now resides here. And thank goodness for that. This place really elevates the food choices in the area. I can’t wait to go back to try more of their menu.(Although I may just have to order the same thing again because it was so good – try the Tagiatelle all a Vodka. You won’t regret it.) I’ll have to come back to town and visit my parents more often!

Just got back from a pretty amazing dinner at this place. I’ve been hearing about it for so long and since it’s right behind my house I finally convinced the hubby to take me there for a nice dinner with the 2 kids in tow. Probably not a good idea since we had no reservation. The wait was for an hour and a half, but fortunately, they give you an option to sit at the pizza counter which is also full service so I decided to go for it. We ordered the pizza American for the children which is a thin crust pizza with tomatoes, basil, pepperoni, and sausage. It was in and out of the oven within 3 min. It was nice, thin, and crispy just how we like it. We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer which was nice and crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. You can tell the seafood is fresh and never frozen. It is served with a marinara dipping sauce and sprinkling of pickled peppers. The hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Oh, you also start the meal with bread and this amazing dipping sauce made with olive oil, olive tepanade, and shaved parmesan. All were very tasty. So by the time we got our meal, we were pretty much stuffed but we charged on. I ordered the ossobucco and hubby ordered the seafood risotto. Both were absolutely wonderful and we can’t wait to eat those again. Service was amazing and despite the fact we were not at a real table, we were still treated well. I love this place and I can’t wait for this to be a regular treat!

Wow! That’s really all I have to say… But I can’t bc Unilocal won’t allow such a short review lol. Anyways, I dined here tonight for my birthday with my parents and sister and all four of us were impressed. The food is just amazing. This isn’t your typical Italian restaurant. Everything is fresh, authentic, and homemade. All of our entrees were cooked to perfection and the tiramisu that I was given, complimentary for my birthday, was delicious… the best tiramisu in town, honestly. We were all very pleased with the service and overall dining experience tonight, and we will be back, whether it’s for dine in or take-out.

This is a nice little Italian place. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I would say Bernini is better, but this place is great too. We had the Fiocchi Enzo for an appetizer which I would describe as an Italian soft wonton. It was very tasty. The entrees we had were Tagliatelle with a red meat sauce and the Osso Buco. The red sauce is good, but it is a tad too tangy. The Osso Buco was outstanding. I didn’t like the bread so much, nor did I like the fact that they don’t have traditional dishes. No lasagna, no Spaghetti and meatballs, it’s pretty high highfalutin to exclude these dishes because they are too mainstream. But all in all a great experience.

I am so disappointed in myself. I live across this restaurant and always pass by it. Never thought much of it since it’s in a small plaza on Van Dyke. Decided to try it out last night for dinner and oh boy. The atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful, clean, and relaxing. Since it was our first time there, we took a while to decide what to order on the menu. We decided to get the Fiochi di Enzo as an appetizer and it was so amazing! Its a four cheese ravioli with pear and prosciutto and hints of mango and guava! Definitely recommend to slalom your bread on the dish once your done! The sauces were so good! For entrees we both got the Tagliatelle alla Vodka — best pasta I’ve ever had in my life. Strong statement, I know. But this pasta puts olive garden and any other mainstream Italian restaurant to shame. According to our server, the Tagliatelle and some other types of pasta are fresh and homemade! So the menu doesn’t indicate that you can add additional meats to your pasta. Wish it did so we didn’t sit so long having to decide, but our server suggested it and we got Panko breaded chicken with our pasta for only $ 5 more. They were not stingy at all with the chicken or pasta… It was all worth it!(The portions were so big we didn’t finish it and got them packed. Had the pasta for lunch the day after and it was still delish!) We were soooo happy and surprised with how amazing our appetizer and entrees came out that we couldn’t pass on dessert. We got a cannoli and a limoncello cake. The cannoli was good, only good for one though. Limoncello was good too, especially with the cream served on the side. Overall, amazing experience, food, and great service! I’m basically kicking myself for not going to Nabruzzi any sooner! Will definitely be back again!

Celebrated our Dance Choreographer and Mentor’s birthday at this lovely place. You won’t going to imagine that this little plaza have this gem. This place is simple but elegant. Our service was very nice and having big group she had the patience to wait for the rest of the group to arrive and to present their menu. They served bread while looking at their menu. Got undecided because everything is amazing, I ended ordering the Tagliatelle Alla Vodka. Our server guaranteed that I made the right choice. And to tell you honestly I DID! The pasta is made fresh and the sauce was creamy and rich with flavor. The service was amazing, they made sure that everything is well served as you pleased and the food is spectacular. This place is a GEM! Hands up and definitely will come back for more! Kudos!
