This is a very small stand, with a very small grill. But you can smell the smoke while walking up, which is a good sign. The parking lot is very small(see a pattern?) that it shares with other businesses. I would advise to park on the street in front of the gas station and walk. Easier to get out. I’ve only had their pit beef, which is solid. $ 7.50 for a regular, or $ 7.95 for a ½ lb. I’m no dummy. You can get toppings, but I’m a purist. Bread, meat, bread. Ordered medium, got medium. There is a condiments section next to the grill that has onions and sauces. Soft kaiser roll is good and doesn’t get in the way of the meat. Meat is tender. It is slightly bland, and one or two times you’ll get a tougher piece of meat. But overall, a fast and tasty sandwich.

This is a nice small shack on the side of the road that is very fast and great for a quick bite. You can watch them grill your burger right next to the shack. They offer pulled pork, pulled chicken, burgers, fries, etc. I’ve tried their pulled pork and burgers, which are both decent. They’re priced between $ 7 – 9. It’s nothing to write home about but it’s better than a fast food joint. Stop by if you’re craving a quick freshly grilled burger or pulled pork sandwich.

Swung by for lunch while in the area. The rib shack is a stand next to the large Poulet building. It has sandwiches, some simple sides, chips, and soda. For seven dollars you can get a hefty sandwich. The service is is quick, got my sandwich in just 2 minutes. I tried the pit beef sandwich, medium well. It was a little dry(next time going to try medium) and somewhat bland. The poulet hot sauce, is interesting, gave it some flavor. Is not quite as spicy as one would expect. It is more tangy than anything else. The sandwich was overall okay, not great, but satisfied my hunger. The shack is worth a try if you’re in the area looking for a quick bite.

A Falls Road surprise, this is a place to stop, smell the barbecue, grab a sandwich or two, and then enjoy this hearty fare and comforting food in a lovely North Baltimore park(like Oregon Ridge). The smell and smoke are worth the stop. Get out of the car, observe the setting, and leave with the good stuff worth waiting for.
