Farpoint Convention

This is a wonderful event for science fiction fans! Fans of all genres are welcome and there is a ton of fun things to do all weekend. The hotel staff is excellent — they are interested in the event happening on their property and they want everyone to have a great time. Good food at the restaurant, although you need to time your meals carefully to avoid a big rush at traditional dinner times. Eating early or late with a snack from the concessions to tide you over this the best bet.

I’ve been coming to the Farpoint con for a few years now with a group of friends. It have never had a bad time. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The con is great. I have met some really great guests and the con staff are great and very helpful. The dealers room is amazing with a very diverse product for sale. Then there’s the auction room. I’ve picked up some cool stuff there. The workshops are all very interesting, entertaining, and educational on all levels. I drive 4 hours south to spend the whole weekend. We even stay till Monday morning so we don’t miss anything. We then have a last night dinner at the restaurant. If your a Scifi/​fantasy fan then your gonna love this con. There is also a great night life too. Karaōke Friday night, and then the dance on Saturday. Activities for kids, guests Q&A etc…
