Honest meat. No frilly, sugary, saucy rubs. Excellent ribs, reminds me of childhood. If you like sauce, they have it, and I suspect it is delicious, but the meat speaks for itself. The side items are good too, but the meat is the story here.

Great food. Had the ribs which were fantastic. Operated by husband and wife and reminds me of eating out as a kid. Not your chain restaurant wanting to churn and burn the diner.

We stopped by here for lunch. Food was great but customer service was horrible. We had a group of 11 people mostly small children and they had lots of open tables and wanted to cram us all at 1 table that was a 6 person table. When we asked if we could use 2 tables the guy told us we could use a smaller table in the corner because that is all they have and we could take it or leave it. There were 4 open tables and one of the tables was a large round table with 8 chairs and another table next to it with 4 chairs. I am not a complainer much, but they were flat out rude. It doesn’t take much to smile. We are pretty easy going people. I was ready to leave 2 seconds after walking in the door. Usually places like this are friendly and cheery… Not this one!

I’ve probably been to the boundary at least 20 times. Personally it does not float my boat, however many people I know really enjoy it. I’ve learned over the years several thing not to do while at the boundary. Not really a family place for younger children. Don’t even thing about bringing a snack for a younger child who would not enjoy BBQ as you will be made aware that it is not allowed. Also if you want your sandwich cut in half. Don’t get your hopes up unless your handicapped.

I can only vouch for the pulled pork. It’s all I’ve ever eaten there because it’s the best pulled pork I’ve ever had. Yes… I think it is better pulled pork than Burn Co in Tulsa. That says a lot, because there is always a 200 foot line out the door at Burn Co. It’s soft and moist, more flavorful than Burn Co. Crazy sized sandwich for the price. Wonderful folk who own and run it. I recommend this to all my friends.

On scenic Route 66. Great service. Ribs could have used more rub for my taste, but well prepared and served. Good baked beans, meaty texture and well seasoned. Cole slaw a bit tangy. Rich fudge brownie for dessert, could only have improved with nuts.

Stumbled into this mom-n-pop gem on a Saturday drive. Friendly folks, good food. Couldn’t ask for more. If you’re a chain restaurant guy, try this for how a local roadside diner used to be.

My husband and I stopped in at the Boundary on our way home from a motorcycle ride. Quaint restaurant. I heard good things and thought we would check it out. I ordered the brisket sandwich(the regular size). The sandwich was very big. It was big enough to share if you were not a big eater. It for sure was too much for myself. They say no split orders so I am not sure if we could of ordered just one to share. It was very good. I also ordered the cole slaw. I am a mayo based cole slaw fan and this was more vinegar based but still good. I added some to my sandwich. My husband ordered the special. A sausage sandwich with cheese and chili. It also was good and again it was huge. Easily shareable if allowed. He had the potato salad. It was good, but reminded me of the salad I buy in a tub at Sam’s. I am not sure if it was home made. My favorite part of the food was that it was hot! Not cold like some places. The bun was even warm. The staff was friendly. The restaurant is small but when were there we had no issue finding a table. I would go back. I would recommend the brisket sandwich. The sauce was not my favorite but still good. Worth the drive!

Out on a motorcycle ride on Route 66, we saw this quaint little restaurant, not wanting to fight the crowd at Pop’s we decided to stop in. I had the chopped brisket sandwich, I ordered the small and it was huge, everyone in our group was very pleased with their meal and the beer is ice cold! Very good flavor and no fake smoke! No complaints.

Not wanting to fight the crowds at chain restaurants on a Friday night, we stopped here for dinner. A little out of the way when traveling along I44 from OKC to Tulsa, but it was worth it. After a long day on the road, we were happy to see the«cold beer» sign, so even if the food wasn’t great, at least there was cold beer(but only 3.2 since we were in OK *sigh*). Service was friendly, polite and fast. I had the pulled pork… tender and not fatty, yay! My bf said his chili dog was one of the best he has ever had. Cold beer and good food, score! Our fellow patrons were interesting. I overheard one conversation, «You betta eat yer veggies, gurl! Eat them mashed taters!» And another, «I’m gonna name my kid Chalupa Batman!» Ummm… ok, you Okies.

My boyfriend and I drove by the boundary on the way to Pop’s in Arcadia. We thought it looked like a great place to get some BBQ so we turned around to stop in. We were right. There was no seating originally so we ordered to-go but after about 10 minutes a table opened up and the main server let us sit there instead. We both ordered the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad which was decent. We think we should have ordered the ribs. They looked awesome. While the sandwich was nothing special the hot and mild sauces were very good. Definitely worth the stop and we’ll be back to try the ribs :)

Not a friendly place to eat. Waitress acted like she didnt want to be there. The place was not busy and she just took her time to wait on us. The food arrived fast but very dull taste, didnt taste smoked at all and the portions were small. We had a choice of 2 sides and I wanted 2 sides of potato salad and she told me they don’t do that, they had to be different. I asked why and she said the cook doesn’t like it. I asked her if she could ask the cook and she said, NO We will never eat at this place again.

We have traveled across the country overs the years having enjoyed many different types of bbq. You will not find better BBQ anywhere and the best thing, its right here in Oklahoma. And the service is just as good, kind with special attention to making certain that when you leave, you are satified with your full dining experience!
