I saw two roaches in 10 minutes after we went inside. There were a lot of food crumbs on the couch. Soy sauce on the menu(I guess they never wipe the menu).Food was good but it was not a clean restaurant.

The food was really good the problem I have is the manager(I think) was walking around on her cell phone all over the restaurant talking on it and had her daughter there who was running around banging on the front door and yelling while the girls who worked there were trying to keep her occupied but the manager/mother was doing nothing. I just thought that was really unprofessional

I love the sushi here but it is so dirty. I really wish they would hire a cleaning crew because we would really eat there about twice a week. Floor is slippery it’s so dirty! Yuck!!!

When I lived in town and first was exposed to sushi, I could eat a crunch roll or two once a week and die happy. Over the years, I tired of all of the fried, +mayo +“spicy sauce” + «special sauce» options and have a hard time finding a roll here that is good but not overly gluttonous. For now, when I visit town, I always stop in for a Caribbean roll to go. Service is slow and the increasing grime behind the sushi guys keeps me from having a seat and second guessing my decision to order. Kotoyama is the only place I’ve been where I can get tako/octopus in a roll… And that’s the only reason I come back.

We haven’t been to this place in two years because of a bad experience, decided to give it another shot today for some sushi… well, after roaches climbing on our table and others in the restaurant, it’s safe to say that we will Never be back! Beware if you decide to eat at this restaurant… It should be a Zero rating!
