The location is great and my drinks are always made just fine. I’m giving this location three stars because of the constant bad attitude that the staff has. One girl in particular goes by «Cinderella.» She’s always working the register and is constantly rude and seems to be in a rush. I walk here almost every morning before my classes and have never once been greeted with a «hello, how are you,» or «welcome to Starbucks.» usually just a blank stare while waiting for my drink order.

This is my favorite Starbucks to run by in the morning. It is right across the street from campus, which used to mean obscenely long lines. Now, they are able to chip away that line faster than what I can say«snap, crackle and pop». They are great at getting me in and out in a hurry. Also, if you call ahead, they can whip you up a traveler in 10 minutes or less(which is great when I’m giving a presentation in class).

This Starbucks has a great location. Being by the University means that the Starbucks has people from all over the world frequenting it. I personally really enjoy the environment. The outdoor seating is nice but it’s by a busy street so if that bothers you then don’t sit there. I think it makes for good people watching. My go to drink in the winter is a dirty chai latte. Sometimes with multiple espresso shots. I personally prefer the cost and taste of a chai from a local shop but Starbucks is definitely still good. In the summer I enjoy the passion tea unsweetened and sometimes shaken with lemonade. They also serve cold pressed juices which are delicious! No drive through at this location but the line usually moves quickly and the employees and friendly and competent. The real problem here and large factor in the deduction of one of the stars is the parking situation. The small lot cannot fit everyone who is in that Starbucks at once and all other parking nearby is designated and you will get towed if you park in it and go to Starbucks. I paid $ 267 two hours ago to get my car back so I know this for a fact. That was after driving around for 20 minutes looking for a spot and finally giving up and parking at Chipotle. Not complaining about parking so much as warning. There’s really no solution since this area is so jam packed with businesses and small lots but just wanted to give everyone fair warning! Today I also tried a breakfast sandwich that I wasn’t so impressed with. Overall the environment is awesome. Food and drinks are average. And parking situation can be pretty frustrating if you’re not lucky enough to grab one of the few spots available to Starbucks customers.

Friendly staff no matter how busy it is. I wish there was more places to sit. I don’t know it’s not bigger since it’s by campus. Great place over all

I am a sucker for Starbucks. I am a gold member. I bring this up because this means in get free refills on brewed drinks. I can go here to work and pay $ 2.44 for my delicious iced coffee with one pump of toffee nut and a splash of soy and get as many refills as I desire for free. What is better then that? I know, I know, but it’s Starbucks coffee. It is good people! It really is! The iced coffee is where it is at. I also like Starbucks because I can travel half way across the world, order my same drink and feel at home. It is like going to McDonald’s in London, it feels familiar and even know it isn’t your absolute favorite, sometimes you just need to feel at home.

I will say that this location has the friendliest baristas. But on a side note it’s not my favorite location, it’s pretty crowded and not as clean feeling as others. I wish they had better sitting arrangements as well.

Until today, I was OK with this Starbucks. For years, I have come here on my birthday(September 15) and received a free cup of coffee for my birthday, no questions asked. Today, I requested my free cup of coffee and the barista turned me down. I spoke to the Store Manager about this and he also rejected me. I won’t be patronizing this Starbucks again, that’s for sure!

BEWARE: RP’s towing watches this parking lot like a vulture in the desert. It’s understandable to tow cars when the parking lot is full or if it’s game day… but to tow a loyal customer(2 – 3 times per week) who just spent 10 minutes in the next door Chipotle to grab dinner to-go before heading to Starbucks just doesn’t seem very fair. The Starbucks has a nice atmosphere and the people that work here are great, but the parking situation is a travesty. May have to consider finding another coffee place.

Best Starbucks in town. 4th and Slide has a loser manager that isn’t concerned with her employees or customers. «She’s not [there] to make friends.» 82nd and Quaker is full of robots that can’t make coffee to save their lives. Milwaukee is alright, except it’s all the way across town and you catch all of the rich, uppity, white people. And 80th and University is alright, but the baristas are too hurried and impersonal. Julie is sunshine. Jeremy is the best barista/nicest, funniest guy you’ll ever meet. Hilary is the hardest working person I know. Isai keeps the store afloat. Paul has an awesome beard. And everyone else is just awesome and nice and friendly and great.

Jeremy is super nice! Great manners & great customer service! I’m sure he’s been here all day, it’s 6:32pm and he is still happy & eager to please! We are just passing thru to Austin and this is the first decent java joint we have passed in hours! Only tumbleweed! Right across from Texas Tech!

NEVERAGAIN! I really thought it was a fluke that it took twenty minutes to make my chai tea latte the first time I went in to this store. I decided to give it another shot this morning and severely regretted it afterward…24 minutes to be exact. The people seem nice, and to give a fair review I have to say that of all the Starbucks I’ve been to, I think this location is completely under staffed. However, that does not change the fact that many people come in to grab coffee and have somewhere else to go. If you are in a leisurely, I don’t need coffee anytime soon mood, stop in here. Also, be prepared for the lack of parking if you are driving. The staff is friendly and the location is clean and lively, but they need some more baristas!

Courtanie is the rudest barista I’ve ever came across, otherwise everyone else seems to be on track with the sbx rules & regs –open til midnight *sweet*

This location is your typical Starbucks located near a college. Always overcrowded with stressed out students or chit chatting sorority posses. Their baked goods always stay stalked and are fresh. I personally love the home made taste of their rice crispy treats. Taste like my momma mad it! The staff is always super friendly and this is a great place to have an officer social/meeting because I’ve had to host many. If you can get their early you can round up enough seats for a larger group. Sit outside on a nice day and NEVER forget to ask for 6 pumps in your passion fruit tea.

Good Starbucks. Awfully inconvenient 80% of the time. I don’t understand the tiny parking lot for three businesses in that location. Not to mention the predictable amount of traffic a Starbucks right next to campus would bring. It’s just… frustrating.

My skinny vanilla latte tasted the way it should have, so off to a good start. What impressed me about this Starbucks was the sheer size of the building. The main room was large and there was a bookcase/shelf running down the middle(filled with the typical goods, mugs, coffee presses, coffee, etc), splitting up a sitting area and a waiting area in front of the registers for your drinks. Then, perpendicular to behind the counter, there was another area with tables and seats, AND the Sbux connects to the lobby of the bank next door! So there was a flat screen set up with some more cushy chairs. I guess I don’t normally see Sbux this big, and it was nice. The last time I was in the LBK we headed here after an event that was hosted on campus, and we had no issues finding an area for all of our party.
