Just checked this place out on a whim and we are in love! Awesome atmosphere. Great staff, very friendly. Food was fantastic! I got the French tickler and my boyfriend got the sourpuss. You can check them out on Instagram @caitlinmd19. Great clean open concept with connecting patio that is DOG FRIENDLY! What more can you ask for?! The inside is pin ball themed and very neat. They also have multiple working pinball machines and sometimes hold tournaments! We will definitely be returning!

Really liked this place. Good beer and cocktail selection, cool tunes, Friendly staff. Enjoyed the pinball machines and the cool sparkly floor in the men’s room was very unique. Will definitely go again next time we’re in Lubbock.

Awesome place. Pinball, alcohol, and gourmet hot dogs. What more could you want? The spicy dog isn’t too spicy, but I totally dig the crawfish fondue one. Be forewarned: it’s messy. They also make a mean Moscow Mule. I’d visit Lubbock again just to swing by Flips another time.

Great atmosphere and friendly service, good food and decent variety. This would be a great place to just hang out and chill with friends. If you’re kosher make sure to order the vegetarian or vegan dogs. The food isn’t bad! But not necessarily something to write home about. There are pinball machines for tables and playable ones in the back that provide a great lot of fun and entertainment. All in all I’d say to visit and enjoy

They have an attractive vibe, with actual pinball machines. There’s a good beer menu, There’s an interesting menu of sausages. The outdoor patio is attractive. They also have a full bar, and make a good martini.

I LOVE Flip’s! We actually had our gender reveal party there because of how much we loved the atmosphere and it went great! Jackie is awesome at event planning and helped me with anything I needed. We had about 20 people, possibly a little more and it was the perfect size. If you need a venue to have an event, be sure to consider Flip’s!

This is one of my favorite bars in town. The atmosphere is one of a kind, the concept is awesome and nostalgic, and the food and beer is to die for. In Lubbock where chains are the big thing, it’s great for a local place like this to call Lubbock home. Unique and tucked away, it offers things you never thought about eating (tamale on a hot dog anyone). They have tons of board games so you waste the night away drinking and laughing with your friends. If you haven’t checked it out, go right now!

The food is great. Lots of different sausages and combos to choose from. 5 pinball machines at good prices. Currently they have Kiss, Metallica, The Walking Dead, Tron, and X-​Men. The staff is amazing. Very easy to deal with and they take care of you.

This place has a great atmosphere. The servers and bartenders are super friendly and relaxed, the pinball-​centric design is creative and refreshingly different. Most of all, the hotdogs and Brats are extremely tasty and the beer is affordable and sold in great variety.
I highly recommend Flips Tavern for all kinds of folks. The more the merrier. It’s a really chill atmosphere.
