I gave them one star because the hostess/waitress was so nice. We tried it because the cook«is so particular about using fresh ingredients.» So disappointed. We started with lettuce wraps that seemed to be filled with some sort of soy sauce reduction, then my dish was suppose to have fresh button mushrooms and green onions. It had neither and also had that same«sauce» that was on the lettuce wraps. Another dish was suppose to be Korean bulgogi. It was some sort of stir fry; no where close to real bulgogi. The curry was quite good, but if you really like Asian food, I’d go somewhere else.

Asian food isn’t my favorite, but that set aside, it seems inconsistent. I have ordered the egg drop soup 4 times and have had it 4 different ways. And when asking for the level of spice it is drastically different every time. But usually it tastes good and seems nice quality.

Few restaurants in Lowell so hoped this was still ok w no recent reviews. Waited 10 minutes to be seated with no one else in line. Then two more tables were seated and waited on before a waitress from a different section took care of us. Hot and sour soup was good, egg drop was very sweet. Appetizer plates were stacked on the table and the bottom two were dirty. Appetizer platter was good, crispy egg rolls, large pieces of chicken satay, dry meatballs w overly sweet sauce. Kung pap chicken was delicious but plate was cold so dish cooled off before ½ eaten. Wife’s sesame chicken came cold and when asked for a reheat they just added some warm sauce over the cold food again on an ice cold plate. With a little effort this could be a very nice restaurant but looks like the owners have given up.

I used to absolutely love this restaurant and I still enjoy the food, but the atmosphere and meals have changed slightly. Still a great place to go and enjoy a meal, especially if you have a large group because they accommodate the seating very well. The service is always friendly, but it always seems like they are brand new to working there.

«Prior to last night’s take out order I would have given this restaurant 5 stars. But now I must say I am shocked! I ordered $ 50.00 worth of Pad Thai, both shrimp and beef, Fried Rice, Tofu with veggies and crab rangoon. The total protein consisted of 3 shrimp, may…» Finish your review

My wife and I used to love this restaurant, but the quality of the food has gone down, as has the service. We complained late last year about the quality of the food — dark meat instead of white meat — and were given a gift certificate. Recently we went back to use the certificate. After being told it would be 30 minutes for our takeout, it was actually 60. After returning home, we discovered there was very little meat in my food and none in my wife’s food. So my wife called and was told they were sure there was chicken in there. She offered to bring it back, which she did. There was still very little chicken in the food that was remade. She complained about the poor customer service and the man she spoke to just stared at her and never apologized for the mistake. We will no longer be going to is restaurant, and will be telling people we’ve recommended it to, that we no longer recommend it. There are so few restaurants in Lowell, it’s sad to lose this one. China One in Rockford is sadly a much better choice.

Good food, but the wait staff is a bunch of Lowell high school kids who don’t know much about the menu, and need the owners to process any takeout order, but they are very polite. I’ve had dishes that were fantastic from here but I’ve also had the bowl of seoul which is a horrible concoction of rubbery noodles, bad sauce, and overcooked egg to accompany chewy scallops. Bleccchhh. I might be being harsh because Mynt usually has delicious food but you have to deal with a ridiculously amateur waitstaff. And some dishes don’t seem like they are attended to correctly.

Had a wonderful time! My wife and I visited for the first time, and were impressed with the selection of food. She had the Sesame Chicken with white rice, and I have the Masaman Curry with brown rice. Also shared a plate of crab rangoons. All was delicious and we plan to go back again soon! I did have trouble selecting what to order because of the wide selection of different Asian dishes they had, so going back will be interesting! Only complaint was slow service, but since we weren’t in much of a hurry, it wasn’t too bad.

It’s all about preparation Presentation is everything at Mynt Fusion. The proprietors take great care to make sure every detail is just right. When we arrived, the first thing we noticed was how the table was set. Appetizer plates neatly arranged together with real silverware(not the cheap stuff) neatly wrapped in cloth napkins next to the plates. Seeing that, I knew we were in for a unique dining experience. We both ordered different appetizers and when they arrived, they were beautifully arranged on the same plate, ready to share. It looked like something you’d see in a food magazine. Delicious. We asked to share a main course and it came plated and arranged for each of us. Mine with fried rice and my wife’s with white rice. The whole experience of Mynt Fusion is that of a 4 star restaurant.

A nice surprise in Lowell. Asian menu. Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Korean choices. The décor is surprisingly nice and modern. Light jazz playing in background. It was quiet and relaxing. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Service was spotty. We were forgotten(without having ordered yet) for about 15 minutes. To her credit, our server did apologize and gave decent service after that. Overall, there is a tendency to sweeten things a bit much. We ordered steamed gyoza, which were excellent, but the sauce was a bit too sweet we felt. I have a one piece shrimp sashimi, which was good. Won ton soup was very good with a great broth. Hot and sour soup was fine but could have been a more sour in our estimation. Hubby had yellow curry, which he ordered hot. It was perfectly to his liking. I had chicken pad thai. The noodles were cooked perfectly. Great texture. Once again, the saucing was a bit over sweet. Our son had bulgogi, which was also good. Over all bill was around $ 40. The portions were generous. We’ll be back.

Completely agree with John B! Used to live in Lowell and saw when this place was built. Paid it no mind until the last couple of weeks before we moved away, we thought we should at least try it. Wish we had tried it sooner! Everything that we’ve ordered from there has been excellent. We liked their food so much we ended up getting take-out another 3 – 4 times before we moved. Definitely recommend this place.

I agree with John. This place is fantastic! We’ve only been here once, for lunch. But the things we had were wonderful, presented well, and cheaper than expected. This is a family run business, the owners are from California. I’m glad they decided to come to Lowell. Nice replacement for Wolf Doggie’s that used to occupy this business space.
