Lowell Bottle and Can Return Center

First things first. Get there early. This is Lowell, and the vast majority of the customers are people who collect cans like pro’s. I believe they typically open at 9:30 or so. I got there before then and let the rush roll in and then I brought my stuff in around 9:45.
Parking is a bit crappy because people pull in all over, but if you’re looking at the front of the building, over to your left is decent spots.
The smell, people complain about. What do you expect? Large majority are returning unwashed cans. Know what unwashed beer smells like? Gross. But the people working there can’t hose customers items down. Just suck it up.
You’ll see reviews on google of people saying they run out of money. Yes, they do. That’s why I said get there early. The place is not a bank or vault. So if they’re given $x, 000 for a given day, and they’re busy and run out of money. That’s it.
I went because I was sick of Kappy’s 6 dollar limit. If you’ve been to Kappys to return, multiply that smell there by about 10. If you dislike it that much, don’t go to this bottle return. But I’m fairly sure almost all of them stink (literally).
If you’re patient, want to return all at once and can withstand some strange customers rushing in at first, then try this out. If not… just avoid it.
