Small local joint serving high level coffee and a small section of sandwiches. The people are friendly, the place is crowded and I swear this looks like a hippy joint from the outside but don’t let that throw you off. Go inside. The prices are normally what you would pay in a coffee shop serving good espresso. I guess you can say the prices are comparable to Sbux but at a different quality level. Walking distance from the UMass Lowell Inn

I love the coffee here. The espresso drinks are bold, flavorful, and strong— as they should be. However, the food here is pretty horrendous. I had an egg and cheese on an english muffin and let’s just say I could’ve made it better myself at home. My friend had cream cheese on a multigrain bagel. They«spread» the cream cheese on for her, but half of each side of the bagel was bare. It looked like they dipped the knife in the cream cheese once and slapped each side of the bagel with it. How is that okay to serve to paying customers? Simply put, go if you want a quality cup of coffee. If you’re expecting good food, spare yourself the visit.

Nice coffee place, nice environment, and very very dog friendly. Food is great. Breakfast sandwiches prides well. Veeu healthy options and you can mix and match ingredients. Very busy on a Saturday so be prepared to wait about 10 minutes for food.

Mediocre product served impersonally in a crammed, Bohemian setting that survives because of the city’s supply-demand imbalance, although at least one far superior option is close. Stroll Market Street to Palmer.

First time me and my boyfriend came here, we got two bacon egg and cheeses, and two world away iced teas. the sandwich was all right, the egg is kinda weird. the two Lg iced teas were full to the brim with ice. There was practically no tea in it and the tea that was in it tasted watered down. Went in there again today. my bf got a lg banana iced coffee which was really good, nice and strong. I again got the world away tea and asked for it to have less ice in it because last time there was practically no tea and it was weak. Nope, they couldn’t do that for me. I got a huge cup of ice once again! And paid 3.50! I’ll post a pic, but yea just lettin u guys know… kinda bullshit. only giving the two stars for the coffee

The coffee and pastries are delicious and I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the service. The girl behind the counter was rude and literally cut me off while I was at the register to start asking the girl behind me, I’m assuming her friend, what she wanted/how she was etc. It was not busy so there was no need to be rude/rush me that much. Besides that, the coffee has been good every time I’ve been in!

Great coffee, bagels, and smoothies in a great downtown location in my favorite city. Thank you for being a part of the community.

This place is over rated. The coffee is filled with grits. The service is slow and they are cold. The place looks dirty.

OK food, really poor customer service. I live closeby, and just went in to grab a bagel and cream cheese. I told the woman at the register, «I’ll have a wheat bagel with veggie cream cheese,» Her: «Ok bagel with cream cheese,» Me: «Yep, veggie cream cheese.» I finished my transaction and waited at the counter. Another young lady working there proceeded to pass the bagel to me without saying anything. Ok then… «Thanks!» I said and walked out, not thinking to make sure to check that they didn’t mess up my order. But I should’ve, considering this isn’t the first time they’ve gotten my order wrong. I came home and opened the foil, to find a plain bagel«veggie» sandwich. I’m guessing either the girl at the counter gave me someone else’s order by mistake, or the girl at the register mistook my order for the veggie bagel sandwich instead of my wheat bagel with veggie cream cheese order. Cool… Overall, there are a decent selection of sandwiches, herbal tea, smoothies, etc here at reasonable prices. However, they run out of bagels quickly– by the early afternoon there are usually only a few to choose from. Also, they don’t know how to make a proper grilled cheese, even though it’s a seemingly simple task. The staff here really diminish the experience for me, they are very inefficient and unfriendly.

An unwittingly hip coffee shop. Properly crafted espresso drinks and fine baked goods. I’ll be back.

Just tried this place and I really loved my beverage! Iced pep. mocha. It’s definitely not cheap– 4.50 for a small iced latte. BUT the quality is great and the atmosphere is wonderful! Fine cozy place to spend a lazy Sunday

Brew’d is the best coffeehouse north of the city! The staff is extremely hospitable, the sandwiches are always on the money — and most importantly, they brew a damn good cup of coffee.

The food here is amazing. The vegetarian options are abundant although there have been several times when I wanted a bagel sandwich and they were out of bagels. Why have a whole portion of the menu dedicated if you’re not going to keep up the stock? The coffee is ok, but the hipster wannabes make it much more appealing to get food/drinks to go.

The coffee here is amazing. Strong, tasty, and a great price! I love the artwork and relaxed vibe of the place. Food is not all great, but the coffee will make up for it.

I love their gluten free treats from Something Sweet Without Wheat. They made a nice delicious juice for me, and it was reasonably priced. I’ll come back some time for chai/tea/coffee and then we can get down and dirty with the review.

Super chill, awesome atmosphere, and friendly staff. It’s almost like time slows down when you step into this place. It’s a great place to relax. Their food and coffee is great. Love going to this place. It is Lowell, so parking can be tough. You’ll get close enough to walk though, and it’s worth it.

I have been to lowell a few times and figure i would find a café. I like the setting of the café and, the customer service is great. The carmel latte i had wasnt of my expectations. There is food, more of pastry and brunch items.
