Ben C is a genius. This is where the real beer geeks go to hang. A lot of people stopped coming here because so many people come here. Selection out the wazoo!!! You could have a different beer every day for years.

They have a good selection of beer on tap and in bottles, but check the bill. Twice I’ve realized that I was overcharged after I’d left the store and this last time I caught it while I was still there. I ordered a pint of beer(it was listed as a pint on their menu and I said pint) but was served a snifter instead. Then when I paid, I was charged $ 23 the pint and a 6-pack. When I told him I only had a $ 5 drink and a $ 126-pack, he gave me $ 5 back. So when I ordered a pint and they gave me a snifter and tried to charge me for 2 pints. I would just consider this an honest mistake if I had not already been overcharged twice here.

Great staff. Very helpful. Top notch beer collection and super convenient location. This is the go to place for beer and spirits in Loveland.

This was our final drinking stop on our pub crawl on a Saturday afternoon. I wanted to stop by this place after hearing about it from a few locals. This is a liquor store with a twist. 40ish beers on tap with growler fills and everything. The outdoor seating in the covered patio was perfect for this unseasonably warm early March day. The lacing on my glass also told me that they knew how to clean their glassware(extremely important to me). Had a couple stouts while enjoying the people here. Everyone was super friendly. Speaking of friendly — dogs everywhere. Not the place for you if you do not like dogs. Knowledgeable staff helped me decide on a drink more quickly. Will be back when in Loveland.

This place is great! They have a wonderful selection of beers and the staff is great! I love the new addition they built on the front and all the new taps. Stopped by to pick up a couple 6 packs and had some beers at the fat head tap takeover. It made for a great night!

It doesn’t get much better than this place. Nestled along the Little Miami river in downtown Loveland, this is a hidden gem of the craft beer world. This place has come a long way from a liquor store you could buy live bait at. Cappy’s has a vast selection of craft beer in bottles and cans. They have all the local favorites along with many national craft brands and lesser known regional breweries from across the US. My favorite feature is the growler station. You can choose from over 20 beers on tap and select from 4 to 64 ounce serving sizes. The staff is very knowledgeable and will recommend beers based on your personal tastes. Cappy’s also has a large selection of liquor and a limited selection of wine. But the main feature of this place is the craft beer. They have also added on a patio so you can enjoy a pint after a long day on the Loveland Bike Path. This is definitely a destination for any craft beer lover in the tri-state area.

Had the opportunity to go to Cappy‘s on Christmas Day this year for the first time. I have heard the talk around town about Cappy‘s and their staff. However; seeing that I am 30 minutes away I just never made the drive. When I went in to Cappy‘s at first its a little overwhelming. There is a lot of stuff around. Its almost like the TJ Maxx of Liquor Stores. You may need to do some digging to find your hidden gem. The staff was more than friendly and were eager to assist even that it was Christmas. I will for sure be back to Cappy‘s. Good Work.

Cappy’s is the best liquor store in Cincinnati, period. The guys there have a crazy amount of different beer, wine, and spirits and if they don’t have it in stock they are willing to get it for you or also offer to hold rare beers that come in stock. I really wished I lived closer as their pint night sounds pretty amazing and their growler fill selection is always on point. You can also get a draft as you walk around and peruse the store. All in all Cappy’s is worth a trip to Loveland for your beer, wine, and liquor needs.

this is the best and worst thing that could have happened to me after moving so close. don’t be fooled by what it looks like — this place has such a great craft beer selection it’s ridiculous. bonus: you can get a pint while you look around before you get a growler or whatever else your heart desires. their staff really knows the beer. they just opened an outdoor space a few months ago and it’s really nice on thursday pint nights! sometimes there are food trucks on pint night. and i have met so many people all because of cappys! it’s the worst thing that could have happened because calories. if you’re ever in loveland, and you like beer, go to cappys. trust me!

Cappy’s has it going on! Don’t be fooled by the outside appearance as it is truly a beer haven. The new outside patio is enjoyable and the beer selection even better! It’s been a fave stop of ours for years! You have to see it to believe it!

Outside of Jungle Jims, you cannot find a better selection of craft beer in the city. Not to mention the most unique growler depot and system in the city. You see a lot of imitators with pint nights and food trucks, but Cappys was the first. Their customer service and knowledge is excellent!

A friendly and inviting staff with great knowledge of all of the products on their shelves. An amazing selection of craft beers from all over, as well as the traditional everyday reserve bud light miller lite etc… Reasonable prices, I will be back often to continue satisfying my thirst for great beer. Definitely a gem, and will tell people how great this place is!

Cappy’s is THE place for liquor & beer. I’m relatively new to the area and I suppose this used to be a dive liquor store but people are really missing out if they don’t give it another shot. The beer selection is incredible — and having recently moved from San Diego(a major beer town), I can say that with confidence. Their bottle selection is incredibly extensive but it’s the growlers that are the real show-stopper. You can get a 32 or 64-oz growler — we have 264-oz growlers we have refilled pretty regularly. Over the holidays, with lots of visitors in town, I stopped in every 5 – 7 days and the selection of 10 – 12 growler beers was different each time. They’ll let you taste a a few so you make sure you’re getting what you like — for the 64-oz. prices ranged as little as $ 10 to $ 24 at the top end. Also, while the employees are beer connoisseurs, they’re not beer snobs. Craft beer can be a very«male» world but the guys at Cappy’s have always been so friendly and helpful — I took my 62-year old mother in there and they asked her what she liked, disliked, etc. Like a lot of good Mexican or Italian restaurants, the outside doesn’t scream curb appeal but the goods inside MORE than make up for it.

Amazing what they have done with this place. Can’t say enough good things. But it is the most accommodating staff and outstanding selection you’ll find. And there is always something new. A must visit if you’re in loveland, and if you live there, you have to make it your go to beer and liquor store.

This place used to be a dive carryout but a Loveland institution. Now it’s THE hottest liquor and beer store around b/c they have a growler set of beer taps for craft beers, and it’s POPULAR, and in addition to 9 dollar growlers(64 oz. refillable jugs), their 10 – 12 craft beers are well-chosen, no run-of-the-mill swill available on these taps! That, plus the staff is helpful and friendly; they carry a great selection of all types of liquors and mixers(wine – eh, not so much but they’re trying to pull that together also), and they keep the liquor and the entire interior very clean and organized. Nicely done.

Cappy’s has it goin on these days! They now have a full on growler station and an ever expanding beer selection that will please any beer lover. Ever since we discovered this a few weeks ago we have been in 3 or 4 times trying lots of new beers on tap(and some oldies– Oberon only $ 6.99 for a growler!). $ 0.25 for a taste from the tap. Staff is friendly and obviously loves beer too and will give great recommendations.
