I found a shoe on their website that I had been looking for. I typed in my size and zip code to find it at my local store. There it was. I found it, tried it on, and had purchased it within 10 minutes, without even asking for employee assistance. The floorspace was clean, well-​stocked, and the employees were knowledgable.
If you more of a browser when it comes to shopping, this DSW has you covered. Very organized, clean, and well-​organized with lots of selection. Pricing is pretty decent too, with clearance items in the back (as they should be). Lots of other oddities here as well… Can’t say I looked in the women’s area, but they had a variety of novelty dress socks and novelty men’s underwear, along with an assortment of hats.
Can’t say much about their check-​in coupon other than it’s just a ruse to get you into another credit card. Pass.

For far too long I have driven to the East End to explore DSW. For far too long, my options close to my house have been limited and not nearly as good as DSW. For far too long, online was my best option to explore DSW. That all changed once St. Matthews got its own DSW. Thankfully outside of the chaotic malls, this DSW located in the strip mall across from St. Matthews is easier to navigate with much less traffic to boot. The storefront for DSW is pretty unassuming (its at the corner next to Staples before someone would head to Best Buy), but the supply inside is incredible. The store is well organized and has a more urban feel than the other DSW in town. I easily found the shoes I was looking for given the great organization and easily checked out. Forget the East End, the other options, and searching online. I’m headed to St. Matthews instead.
