Generally quick, they mail coupons and email them if you give your address/​email and it makes it a good deal, their other services aren’t badly priced compared to either DIY (like battery replacement or new windshield wipers) or a dealership. The key is knowing what those other prices are so you can decide what your time is worth to do later or just get taken care of at the same time.
Here’s what I like about this location– a couple years ago they had to buy a specific wrench to work on my make and model of car and ever since then, the manager and a couple of the workers will recognize me and get the tools they need. Aside from the general convenience factor of course as they have much longer hours than the dealership and no hassle and clean-​up like a do-​it-​yourself job.
The downside is mainly putting up with the up-​selling. I don’t blame the workers and they are always polite when I smile and say «Just the oil change please»
Also, check to make sure they have the right oil filter in stock since some less common cars they only keep a few on hand and may run out. Although, I did only have to wait about 20 minutes while they got one from the auto parts store delivered and they were very apologetic about the inventory problem.
