Twice As Nice Consignment Shop

After waiting over an hour to speak with the owner I left without consigning anything. I would rather donate it all to Goodwill. Don’t waist your time. The store is cluttered, I don’t see how anyone could find anything in the chaos. Salespeople are very helpful and courteous, the owner was kind of stuffy and very persnickety.

I have consigned with Twice as nice two separate times now and will not be taking anything else there. The store is not organized and the clothing is not in great shape. Prices are high for the items. Some of my items still had price tags on them, but have not made much money ???
I was really looking to make some cash for my items, but ended up disappointed.

One of my new favorite consignment shops. Prices are great, clothes are in excellent condition, and the ladies working were very sweet. Definitely worth stopping in and looking around. So happy I found this place!

I cleaned out my closet over weekend, and instead of bagging everything up and dropping it off at Goodwill, I decided to give consigning a try. This was a first for me, so I called the store first to get the details. Nice and neat clothing only, on hangers, no more than three years old and only for fall. I figured I was good to go with everything I had, so I dropped by Twice As Nice, which is not too far from where I live.
I was very impressed with the wedding gown selection. It was the first thing that caught my eye. I didn’t expect to see wedding gowns at all, so it was a nice surprise. In general, the store was a bit cluttered. I had a tough time maneuvering around in some spots. I’m known to carry gigantic purses so that only added to the problem. But part of the fun of going thrift shopping is the hunt. You’ve got to be willing to dig to find the prize. I can’t lie, I’ve experienced some top-​notch consignment shops, and this one didn’t quite live of to those. But, I think it could be a diamond in the rough. I only had about 20 minutes to look around, and the selection looked pretty promising. All types of clothes, shoes, belts, purses, and housewares. And the owner was sooo nice. I could go back just to chat it up with her. I’ll have to go back a few times and see how the inventory turns over (and if my clothes sell) before I make my final judgment.
