Poor customer service. No one to help load up lumber and associates just walk on by without acknowledging you. Pressure treated lumber was moldy, looked like and felt like it had been stored outside for weeks…

Most people have shopped at a Home Depot or at least know what they could buy at one if they wanted to. So for the most part, this review holds for HD as a company not just this location. First, the prices are competative and if you are buying lumber or such in bulk, there are case discounts. Customer service is solid although it can still sometimes be hard to find a more obscure item. The worker is willing to help but maybe doesn’t know the answer. Overall though, the workers are friendly, polite and I haven’t gotten than sense of «you’re a girl, why are you buying a saw/drill/truckload of lumber?» that some construction oriented shops and businesses can give off. The truck rental by the hour can be a great deal! A sturdy heavy duty pickup with low mileage that drove easy and had a more than 8 foot bed length for only $ 20 for the first 75 minutes is so helpful. Plus, the clock starts after you buy and load your purchase even though you reserve the truck before that so the time frame is even longer than it seems. All in all, a good place to get home improvement good and note, its generally easier to make a right into the parking lot heading southound on Preston and then exit onto Blue Lick Road to make a right and then a left onto northbound Preston if you are going to interstate or outer loop. Left onto northound Preston to leave can be hard.

For the most part, this is your typical home improvement warehouse store that we’ve all come to know and expect in our cities. What makes this particular Home Depot location worse than any of the others? Nothing… it’s all good. What makes it better? Well… there always seems to be plenty of employees available for assistance. They help me when I need it and they leave me along with I don’t. That’s exactly how it should be.
