The other person who reviewed this restaurant is a needy psychopath. I’ve never had issues here ever.

Excited to have them in the neighborhood, but they have some issues to work out. Arrived on a Sunday at 1:00. The line was backed to the door, which was expected. The restaurant is located in the Tyler Shopping Center, which houses Kroger and several other small businesses. It’s also beside St Michael School/Church and in front of a soccer field where games and practices happen quite often. Today there was a whole 9 year old soccer team in there, with parents. The line snaked through these people and it was very uncomfortable to stand in line, literally 35 minutes, and be bumped and hit by little boys and their parents. My daughter wanted to stay, so we did. My first thought is they should arrange tables and line differently, so they can both exist in peace. While we waited for the coach to keep walking up to the counter to keep adding things to their order, we finally arrived 35 minutes later. I was not frustrated with the workers, as 3 of them were doing the best they could. However, my problem came with the young boy who waited on us. His long hair came out from under his hat and he wore no net on it. He barely looked at us, and was very overwhelmed to begin with. My daughter told him her order, and I had 3 more sandwiches to order. He took her sandwich most of the way down the line and then came back for my order. He did not like that I had 3 more sandwiches. I ordered 3 of the same thing, on Monterrey Cheddar bread. He checked the oven and announced there was none left. I ordered italian and it took him a while to find it. I told him I wanted the next 3 on Italian and he didn’t like that. Then, a lady who said she wasn’t the manager, but seemed to be in charge, came from the back and had 2 new trays of Monterrey. She jokingly told him he needed to check the back when the bread ran low. He was not amused. She then started helping him with our order, but he was very rude and not helpful at all. I had ordered a bacon footlong for my son, and was not sure if it came with a «standard» sauce. I asked what was the norm for that sandwich, and he replied«I don’t know» «Whatever you want» His superior noticed I was getting a little irritated at his rudeness. I finally mentioned his lack or response and she apologized. She moved him from making our sandwiches, to the cash register. He was very put out at that point. He gave me total but was unsure of it. His superior told him what to charge us and then he gave the total. He hit the register keys very hard, then took my card and slid it through very hard, and«ripped» the receipt out very angrily. I again told the lady in charge that his attitude was not appreciated, and that I could relate to them being so busy but he needed to handle it better. His body reactions were very angry and she finally told him to go in the back and apologized. His actions did not help the line move any faster and the two ladies working were doing all they could to take orders, take money, refill the empty supplies. I told her they needed to give him more training with customers, or we would frequent other Subways in town. She agreed. I hope they can get things straightened out or they will lose a lot of business.
