It has been years since I shopped in a Pier 1 Imports store and I had somehow remembered affordable prices on a wide selection of imported items.
Today on my way home from an appointment in Louisville I spotted the store of my memories. It was in a nice strip mall across from the overcrowded Mall Saint Matthews. I saw plenty of parking so I ventured into the parking lot, parked in a prime spot and headed into the store with visions of all the presents I would be able to buy there.
Roaming the store I found the prices much higher than I expected. There were plenty of items that caught my eye but my budget wasn’t going to go very far in this store. I did end up buying a cute nutcracker and left happy with my single purchase.
I might come back at another time to see if the prices drop after the holidays.
