Fresh, different and delicious food! Love this place! My second time here and I am once again impressed. Great staff and orginal, fresh wonderful tasting dishes. Had some lunch specials this time around and each was amazing! Had the scallops last time and they were amazing! One of my favorites places to eat in Lousivlle this is a must try!

Ordered the mushrooms au gratin, unbelievable salty, could not finish it, but the sweet potato fries taste really good.

PASSIONFRUITMOJITOS, a pitcher PLEASE. The only thing I do not like about this place is that you cannot make a reservation. I went with a group of 12 and waited over an hour for our table. We end up splitting up(but it was for the better) The sweet potatoes fries, the shrimp ceviche, the lamb, duck flatbread, and mussels. ALL very good choices. Definitely do try to come in with at least a group of 4 since it is a tapas(small plate) type of place. Plus, if it your birthday… you get free dessert!!! The flan was very dense and creamy!

This place is amazing! They have a great kids menu with real food options that gave my kids an intro to Spanish cuisine. I had the Cuban burger — so, SO good!!! They mix chorizo into the patty and top it with Serrano ham, cheese, and crispy onion pieces. Who thought of smoky honey to dip sweet potato fries in? Genius! We’re just passing through, but I wish I could take this place home with me! Incredibly congenial waitstaff, too!

Always have wonderful food and drinks when we are seated in the bar or a table. The to-go is a great convenience too when we can’t stay and eat. Love trying something new every time and it’s always delish.

Heard a lot of great things about this place. Were in town for the weekend, and at a friends recommendation, we stopped by. Called and asked if they had call ahead seating, they said yes, took our name and quoted us 35 minutes. Arrived 20 minutes later, checked in and were told our table would be ready in 35 minutes… But we called ahead, shouldn’t we already be higher up on the list? Sadly, no. According to the hostess, after you check in at the host stand your time starts. That’s not how call ahead is supposed to work. We decided to wait, because of the friends recommendation, the look of the food on the tables and of all the things everyone outside with us was saying. But about 10 minutes in, our little ones were struggling waiting outside(it is February after all) and regretfully we had to leave, unsatisfied. Look forward to trying this on our next visit!(But straighten out the call ahead!) three stars just for reputation.

It’s was pretty good. The outside makes it look bigger than it is. I’m not a huge fan of the set up inside. Seating is close together, which makes it difficult to really have a lot of tapas if you’re seated at a small table. I need space when I eat. lol, let alone when I eat tapas. I went with a friend and we had to constantly move stuff around to make space. The skirt steak tapa is really small, just an fyi. The pictures make it look bigger, but it’s tiny. Overall not bad food. The guacamole with plantain chips was bomb… could eat that all day every day.

I sometimes question the wisdom of eating at a restaurant in a shopping complex, but often these restaurants are great! I came with colleagues for lunch on a Friday. It was super-crowded. I guess a lot of people go for lunch to this place! The staff were really nice. The lunch menu is different from the dinner menu. It is a sort of delicious mix of things. It is Spanish and Cuban, so traditional tapas and also maduros and pinchos. I had the vegetarian pincho(grilled vegetables on skewers), and the vegetables were perfectly done. The black beans were all right, the rice was good, and the maduros were perfect: a little crust and quite sweet. Next time I will try the tapas!

I am a big fan of the Olé’ group, so for dinner on a Saturday night, I opted to try Mojitos for the first time. I very much enjoyed the food and my server, as well as the atmosphere, but I was extremely disappointed in their hostess services. I came at a relatively busy time(6:45), so I made sure to call ahead of time to put my name in the call-ahead seating. When I called, I was greeted with a perturbed and immature«hello?». I initially thought I had called the wrong number because of how rude and unprofessional the person answering the phone was. I figured they must be extremely busy, so I let it slide. However, as I continued to converse with the hostess to figure out wait times and put my name on the call-ahead, it seemed ever more apparent that talking to me was the last thing this hostess wanted to do. She was short, bad-mannered, and frankly, discourteous. After I hung up the phone, I debated if I should even come to the restaurant. I felt like I was talking to a disobedient 16-year old child. I decided to keep the call-ahead and arrived shortly thereafter. The restaurant was hopping(a good sign!) and lively. As I checked in, I immediately matched the voice over the phone to the hostess handing us our pager. she didn’t even make eye contact with us. I overlooked this minuscule glitch and ended up having a lovely dinner. Our server was great — very informative and kind. Our food was savory and appetizing — honestly I’d expect nothing less coming from the Olé group. All in all, a good experience minus the pouty hostess.

I just CANNOT say enough good things about Mojitos. My husband and I went for a date night and I must say, the staff went ABOVE&BEYOND even thought they were very busy. We had reservations and were seated quickly. A server came quickly and brought us water. She took time to fully explain the menu. We ordered plantains & guacamole for an appetizer. We were very surprised when our sever brought us some sweet potatoes fries free of charge because they made too many. Both were SOOO good. We ordered the Paella De Mariscos. I let the server know that I am allergic to onions. She said she would tell the chef. A few moments later, the chef personally came to our table and explained that the base for the paella is already made and has onions in it. However, he had a GREAT idea. He told us he was going to make us an entirely new dish that is not on the menu and free of onions. He asked us if we liked a few different things then off the the kitchen he went. The dish that was brought out to us was AMAZING. The staff were all so nice. The atmosphere is fun. This place is everything you want in a great place to enjoy a meal with a partner or friends.

I really enjoyed Mojito’s. Needless to say, their mojitos were(fire). They also have delicious margaritas. The staff was very friendly and took great care of us. We showed up around 7:30 with a group of 10 and expected to wait. The staff brought out a free guacamole app for us because they felt bad we had to wait. It was really nice of them. And boy, was it good. Their guac is served with plantain chips(seriously, why does anyone offer it another way?) Now, sometimes I get overwhelmed with tapas restaurants because I’m afraid I won’t order enough to be satisfied. I thought their serving size was generous. Everything we tried we enjoyed. This place won’t disappoint.

Delicious, lots of options, modern and hip. Come here for delicious food from multiple Latin American cultures. I’d recommend coming with a group that isn’t on a timeline. There are no reservations, and on busier nights there might be a decent wait time. Have a drink by the bar and relax. But maybe go somewhere else if you have a show to catch on a Friday night. Service has always been excellent when I’ve been here. Food has been wonderful. The drink selection is pretty good as well. And they have outdoor seating, so that’s nice as well. I don’t see any major issues. Overall, a very fun, well put-together and hip place in Holiday Manor. There aren’t many combinations like that around that part of town.

Mojitos… I mean, where do I even begin? I always call ahead for seating because it tends to be packed but lively! The atmosphere is always welcoming and exciting! It makes me want to get up and dance for a song or two ;) The front of the house always greets you with a friendly attitude and smile. We enjoy sitting on the patio when the weather is warm or with a cool breeze. And our favorite spot is the last private booth near the window. It has a romantic yet edgy feel to it! We always start out with a few favorites ;) Pitcher of mojitos *the best mojito I have EVER put in my mouth* Mushroom Au Gratin *blue dog bakery provides the bread and is to die for* Guacamole w/plantain chips *heavenly* Yucca Fries *not on the menu but SOWORTHTRYING! I always ask for the honey and garlic aoili to dip them in* Cheese plate *you really cannot go wrong here* Piquillo peppers *stuffed with goat cheese and nuts from the gods* As you can see, we typically go in large groups or order plenty to stuff in our bellies. When in comes to our entrees, I have some personal favorites. The stuffed dates are ALWAYS a must and the Solomillo al Cabrales. For the amount of food we get, it is extremely inexpensive! Always a favorite and MUST :)

I love Mojitos for many reasons. One of the main reasons being that they are ALWAYS consistent; consistent w quality of food, friendliness of service, speed in which food comes out. They are all around a consistently, solid restaurant. You can’t go wrong with any alcoholic drink. From the Mojitos to the margaritas, you won’t be able to order just one! They are just the right balance of alcohol and filler, absolutely delicious. The guacamole served with fried plantings makes an excellent appetizer addition to your frozen drink. The sandwiches are scrumptious, I highly recommend the steak sandwich or the chicken sandwich. The sandwich bun is always fresh, never hard or stale. Each time I have gotten the steak sandwich, it has been cooked perfectly. The tacos are delicious as well, however very messy and sometimes difficult to eat. Both the chicken and steak tacos are my favorites, but the fish tacos are a close second. I usually result to eating the tacos open faced with a fork, nevertheless they are delicious. Sandwiches and tacos range in price from 7 to 9 dollars, sandwiches served with one side item. There are two tacos to an order, which is just the correct portion size to fill you up. I have only gotten a few salads, and they are always fresh and served with homemade dressing. If you’ve not been to Mojitos, you’re missing out!

I really like Mojito’s. Tapas restaurants are hard to come by, and Mojito’s doesn’t disappoint. The menu is large and diverse. There’s plenty for everyone. Their drinks are delicious(though weak). I’ve tried the mango and pineapple mojitos and the margarita. All the food is excellent. I especially recommend the queso fundido and guacamole. If you don’t feel like splitting plates, there’s options for individual meals, like sandwiches or salads. The prices are affordable, with plates in the $ 8-$ 12 range. The restaurant itself is very small, so it can get crowded.

I visited Mojitos for the first time this past weekend. I love getting to try a little bit of everything as opposed to a lot of one thing that you get when going to a Tapas restaurants. I have been to two otherTapas restaurants– Louvino and Café Ba-Ba-Reeba(in Chicago) — both of which I thought were better. We only ordered for items(there were two of us) the duck confit flatbread, meatballs, mushroom au gratin, and bacon wrapped dates. I will start by giving my opinion of what didn’t work. Bacon wrapped dates are by far one of my favorite appetizers and I get excited when I see them offered on the menu(if you ever go to Mussel and Burger Bar you must, must, must order them! they are the best I have ever eaten). Sadly, I was very disappointed with the dates at Mojitos. You get three on a skewer that are stuffed with entirely too much goat cheese and flimsy bacon with little sauce. I would never order these again on my own. The mushroom au gratin was also highly disappointing. When something is described as «au gratin» I assume a rich cream based cheese sauce that serves as the sauce to whatever vegetable or item it gets poured over and sandwiched between. The au gratin at mojitos was just mushrooms an potatoes with what tasted like pre-shredded store bought cheese melted on top. Now for the good. The duck confit flatbread was the perfect combination of salty and sweet. The duck sat on top of a fig marmalade and had goat cheese for a bit of creamy and saltiness and some greens. It was hands down my favorite dish of the evening. The meatballs were also fairly decent. You get three to an order and they sit in a well tomato sofrito sauce that packs a slight tang that come from the punch of chopped olives. The interior seemed pretty cool and there is also outdoor seating covered and uncovered which is where we sat. The menu pricing, especially when you compare it to the size and amount of food you get was surprising. It is definitely a little less expensive than the other tapas restaurants I have been to.

Mojito Tapas Restaurant is great! The menu is huge, so there’s something to please everyone. Of course it’s mostly small plates, but they also have salads, sandwiches, soups, tacos, and flat breads. I’ve tried numerous things on their menu, and I love trying new items each time I go, but there are a few that I gravitate towards. First they have an awesome Queso Fundido. It’s served with Blue Dog bread, and it’s so good! The Guacamole is really delicious. It’s served with plantain chips, rather than tortilla chips, and it really adds a special touch and great flavor to the dip. The Croquetas de Jamón y Pollo, or ham and chicken croquettes, are delicious! They’re Serrano ham and chicken croquettes served with piquillo pepper sauce. The Empanadas de Picadillo add some heartiness to your meal with flaky fried pastry shells stuffed with seasoned ground beef. They’re served with a really tasty roasted pepper sour cream. Lastly, I love the Datiles Rellenos, or stuffed dates. They’re stuffed with Capriole goat cheese, wrapped in apple wood bacon, and topped with honey. They’re so rich they make the perfect sweet plate to end the meal with. The space is a little cramped, as it’s really popular and they have to add enough seating to accommodate their crowds, but it’s nothing major. The service has always been great any time I’ve been here for a meal. I’m looking forward to many trips back to Mojito Tapas Restaurant and to trying lots of other options from their menu.

My best friend decided to have his birthday dinner here this past Friday. There were 8 guests total. I am always nervous dining out with a larger group as there are increased odds that things can go wrong. I was very impressed with our server, Dayana. We only had to wait about 20 minutes on a busy Friday night for a table to accommodate us. We ordered two pitchers of margaritas– one on the rocks and one frozen. These were the BEST margaritas I have ever had. The harshness of the tequila was not prevalent at all. The frozen one tasted like I was drinking a refreshing smoothie. I will be back for that drink alone! I ordered the lamp chops tapas plate as well as the stuffed dates tapas. The lamb chops were very small, which is what I expected considering the style. The presentation was beautiful as the subtleness of the lamb was accompanied with a flavorful hummus. The stuffed dates were what stole the show. DELICIOUS! The stuffing was mostly goat cheese(one of my favs!) with fig and wrapped in bacon. It made for a rich dish that was filling. Our server, Dayana, allowed us to have an easy exit as she took care of multiple forms of payment for my large group. I will definitely return!

This restaurant is amazing. For the 4 of us ladies, we each got two tapas each, which was definitely enough. We were able to get a lot of variety of food, from vegetarian to seafood to steak. They stagger the tapas perfectly and I was always surprised and delighted when a new one came to the table. The bread is from Blue Dig Bakery and a perfect compliment to several of their dishes. My two favorite tapas were the mushrooms au gratin and the ceviche. Now at first I was meh that someone got the ceviche because I am used to the minced kind. This ceviche was both delicious and beautiful. The peppers were delicately sliced and the shrimp was full sized and juicy. My favorite surprise of the night! The tapas run about $ 7 – 9 dollars and we always had enough of each plate to share amongst 4. I would definitely recommend stepping outside your comfort zone with all the options you have. The only one I was disappointed with was the steak skirts with green chimichurri sauce. It wasn’t bad, but not up to par with the other food.

I know the name of the game is Mojitos, but why not change it up and get some margaritas??? Mojito, margarita. it’s all in the same family. All this aside, the margaritas are great and Mojito is phenomenal(the restaurant, not the drink all you thirsty, thirsty people!) From the outside it doesn’t look like much but once you step inside you’re greeted with romantic and dim lighting and elevator music with a salsa twist… I don’t know if that type of music sounds appealing to you or not, but I loved it. Call me weird, it’s okay. The one and only complaint which I’m going to skip over right after saying it is that the seating was a little cramped. Did I mention the atmosphere was super romantic? I know that having been at a place called Mojito it would have only been appropriate to order some mojitos but of course my taste buds were not in the mood for mojitos. But oh no, don’t have worries because the margaritas were ultra delicious. My boyfriend and I got a pitcher of margaritas and let’s just say that it took me a minute or two to gain my equilibrium back once I stood up from drinking all those margaritas… but they were sooooooooo good. There’s a special place in my heart for margaritas so I mean it when I say they were good. P. s. I swear I am not an alcoholic I just love good drinks, but so does everyone, seriously. We ordered the queso and the calamari for our appetizers and having come to be a huge fan of calamari I wasn’t disappointed at all. It was very tender and so eatable, I stuffed it all down in far too few of bites. I was barely done eating the appetizers when my meal came out. It was pleasant that it didn’t take a long time to receive the food especially considering that the restaurant was full. I just didn’t get to digest all of my food, but oh well I had plenty of time to digest it later. Anywho, I got the fish tacos and oh my goodness, I wish they had served like 5x the amount because they were that good. I’d never had fish tacos before but I decided that this place had high enough standards that I felt confident with my selection. These fish tacos were slightly breaded and came with lots of toppings… the taco itself was pretty messy because everything on it but I had absolutely no qualms with this because it was so damn yummy. I know I looked like a fool and probably was perceived as needing a bib but when food is that good I just don’t care. Sorry for all that jibber jabber, but I needed to paint you a picture of how good the food was. Then we got the paella with all the meat in it and never have I ever, literally ever, seen such a huge pan of food in my life… and I’ve seen a lot of food. The menu says that the paella serves two people and this is true if two people are eating it over the course of 3 or 4 days. I am not complaining about that and in fact I give them kudos for giving so much food to someone for a descent price. Not only is it well-priced and well-positioned but it’s also supercalifragilisticexpialidocious(my adjective meaning super delicious). There’s scallops, shrimp, chicken, calamari, some beef and all types of stuff in it. It’s so filling I could barely eat any of it, especially considering I’d eaten all that other food beforehand. But honestly, the paella was so good and you will have leftovers for days. For days. So in the end, this is a totally awesome place and you should most definitely go here and just go all out.
