I’m pleased to say that my first experience with a body shop in town was extremely positive. Around Christmas, I was rear-ended and received a check from insurance to cash. I shopped around to a few different places, and they all said roughly the same thing — that they’re willing to work with me to get the car fixed at the insurance’s estimate. However, the fourth place I visited was here, and Jeff was very honest with me — going as far as to say that there were things that we could not worry to get the total cost actually under the estimate(money in pocket). For example, those shiny decals on your trunk that have the manufacturer’s logo and model name? Those are like $ 50 a pop. You don’t exactly need them. So I chose Louisville Frame and Fender to repair the car, and I was very happy with it. When all was said and done, the car was fixed for $ 150 or so under estimate, and they installed a new lock cylinder on the driver’s side door when I mentioned casually in conversation that it didn’t work — and that had been busted like a year prior to the accident! Moreover, they washed and vacuumed the car — giving me a coat of Armor-All on the dash and everything. All in all, I was shocked at how easy everything was at Louisville Frame & Fender. Jeff is awesome, and they had $ 3000 worth of damage fixed in about four and a half business days. Can’t beat it.
