Partaking in my weekly ritual of getting hammered drunk in the Highlands, I literally stumbled across this business as I walked down the sidewalk, no pun intended. The vibe of the walk-​up window right here on the sidewalk was very big-​city-​esque, and it was cool to stand there devouring two Detroit style coneys and chat with my fellow drunk patrons as they passed by. The staff was cool and tolerant of us drunks acting like clowns, I’ll be back again. Coneys are perfect drunk food.

The hubby and I stopped here the night of the Zombie Walk /​Highlands Festival. It is a walk up window with a guy sitting at a register taking your order and another guy behind him making your order. They had a taco special that night so we ordered two of them. They were expensive — I think $ 4 or 4.50 each? (I just remember thinking that it was a LOT for a small taco and I was sad the Luchador was closed). I do remember that it was a pork taco and there wasn’t much flavor to it which was disappointing. I ended up giving half to my hubby and going to another vendor that was open late. Giving 3 stars because hubby agreed on taste but he still ate them. I may try again and this time with a piece of their pizza.
