Liked the ribeye! It was tasteful, although i ordered well-done. But i didn’t like sweet potato.

We visited this location on Saturday evening after a full day of running errands and shopping. There was a 35 minute wait at around 7pm, prime dinner time. The service is great. There is a door greeter and staff overall are friendly. We waited at the bar. The hubs got a Miller lite and I got«The Perfect» margarita. The margarita was awesome. A nice balance of citrus fruits instead of all lime. I could use a little more tequila though. We ordered the ribeye and I got the sirloin over blue ridge salad. Both were good. I always love the bread at Longhorn and that’s exactly the same at any of their locations. Nothing spectacular but what you’d expect from a chain restaurant. Good for a casual night and predictable dinner.

Best ribeye I’ve ever had… Cook to perfection. They bring a warm bread accompanied with butter… Soooo Gooood… Service is good and the ambiance is good too. I would recommend this place.

Attentive service and really good steaks. We had a large group near the end of dinner service and the staff was friendly and kind.

My first visit here. I’m not really a steak person, but I was hanging with a friend who had a «hankering» for steak. Of. course, The atmosphere had a western décor with country music pouring through the restaurant speakers. The service was prompt, friendly and really excellent. I ordered the grilled chicken and avocado sandwich, which contains a grilled, folded flatbread stuffed with tomatoes, red chili ranch, avocado spread and Colby jack cheese. That sandwich was amazing! I didn’t believe the waitress when she said that it was the best sandwich in the world… until I tasted it. She was correct. My side dish was a baked sweet potato with butter and cinnamon. Usually, most places place entirely too much butter on the potato, but that didn’t happen here. I was thoroughly surprised and satisfied. Everything about my first experience here was good. I’ll return to try other dishes.

This restaurant has always been our favorite place since the doors opened 10 years ago. We went there 3 weeks in a row tight after they opened… that’s how much we love it. Last Thursday was my husbands birthday and there were 9 of us. I did Call Ahead seating. It all went South when we went in to give our name behind a party of 8 or more who didn’t have Call Ahead… long story short 5 minutes later, they were seated after we were told they were just waiting for a table to get up… by the time we did get seated, it was a full hour from the time I called. Now with that all said, Rick whom is a Manager there quickly came to the counter when I was not being very nice with the Hostess. He tried to calm me down and I was not going to listen to excuses. He went above and beyond for dealing with an unhappy customer. He not only rushed to get us seated, but he also had two appetizers sent to the table plus dessert for my husband, and checked on us all night. He also kept apoligizing for dropping the ball… I want to apologize to Rick for being rude in the beginning. Thank You for stepping up and turning our night around to make it right with the guest. Always has been my favorite restaurant, always will be!!!

As far as big-name chain restaurants go this is probably my favorite one. They actually know how to cook a steak! If you order it rare, it will come out rare! Unlike some ‘steakhouses’ I can think of… And the cuts are good too. The outlaw ribeye is definitely my favorite! It’s huge and it’s delicious! There’s always enough for leftovers and it heats up well(if done right in an oven or skillet!). The apps are good, like the Wild West Shrimp! We LOVED it! So, if you’re looking for a good steak and a decent price with a nice atmosphere, look no further.

One of my favorite restaurants in Louisville because it’s consistency and atmosphere. Pretty average prices for a steakhouse. But I recommend the chicken tenders and fries!!!

Over the years we have learned that chain restaurants are rarely worth your money; Longhorn has yet to disappoint. Had another perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth medium rare filet tonight. To top it off, the server had great timing all night.

There’s nothing special about LongHorn, in my opinion. The only time I eat here is when I have a gift card(seems to be the most popular gift card to give in my family). Average food with average service for above average prices doesn’t make me want to come back. The steaks(I’ve had the ribeye, NY strip, and prime rib) all seem to be pretty bland, and the sides haven’t been memorable. For me, if I’m going to pay to go to a chain steakhouse it would be Texas Roadhouse or Outback.

My friends know I’m not a big chain restaurant guy but the last 2 months have been a series of mediocre dining experiences in the Derby city so I thought why not go to a chain. That and the fact the entire Hurstbourne parkway(close to where we live) has nothing but chains. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. We ordered the Firecracker Chicken Wraps for our appetizer, which were excellent. I got the delicious 8oz White Cheddar and Bacon stuffed filet cooked medium — utterly scrumptious! My wife had the Flo’s Filet with Shrimp and she thoroughly enjoyed her food too. The meal was complemented by a divine molten chocolate lava cake served with vanilla ice cream. The service was very good for a busy Valentine’s day. I’ll definitely be going back.

A bit pricey, but good food and consistent service. It’s bad that no one dish jumps out at me, but it’s a chain eatery and that doesn’t really surprise me. My husband always orders their Black and Blue Burger. My son gets the child’s steak and I switch it up. I go because they enjoy what they get, which tells me that if these two want to go to a specific place to eat vs. wherever I drag them, they enjoy it a lot.

This really wasn’t my first choice this past weekend, but my mom came to town for a visit. I wanted to take her to a local place, but her husband insisted on steak(which is fine but most of the local steak places don’t open until the evening). When skimming through chain restaurants in my brain, I thought Longhorn would be best. We went around lunch time and I have to say… for what this restaurant is, I’m impressed. I’m still not sure if I’d send anyone here, but it definitely wasn’t a bad experience. Service was great at our table of 4. Waitress didn’t hover and didn’t stay gone for long. For the app, we had the parmesan encrusted asparagus. Great! Everyone ordered steak. My steak had lobster on top it(not a dish they have year-around). Steak seemed small, but adding the lobster to it made it one of those meals where you’re satisfied at the end. I also had some type of salad. It was full of stuff… raisins, orange slices, lettuce, brie cheese bites, onions, and some type of tomato based salad dressing. It was ok, but I wouldn’t order it again. The raisins seemed to overpower all of the other flavors in a very bad way. To conclude: If you really want steak. If you want to stick to the typical chain restaurant where all of them look the same. Then go here. If not: Then seek out another place to eat in Louisville. We have many.

We came here mainly to watch the Rose Bowl as we are just passing through but we were met with excellent service, great drinks and much better than expected food! We ordered the rib and chicken dinner with baked sweet potato and everything was cooked and seasoned well. Cheeseburger was cooked as ordered and fries were fresh and delicious! The drink special, the El Patron Margarita was very good and great price $ 6.50 for a fishbowl! Any chain restaurant can serve good food but to us service matters the most and Longhorn was right on tonight! New Year’s Day, big football game, and every staff member had smiles, friendly attitudes. Our server was quick, polite, and attentive. We will visit again when we’re in the area!

This is my birthday dinner spot. By far my favorite place to get a great steak in town. I have yet to have a bad meal here and the service is exceptional.

i’ve been to children’s lemonade stands that were managed better. gave me a beer that was outdated by 4.5 years. expiration date was feb. 2010! second beer was 4 months past expiration and third was 5 months past expiration! french onion soup was cold! manager actually laughed and made reference to the hat i was wearing as the reason the food i was given was cold. complete idiot, cannot understand how someone would have this fool running their establishment, maybe his daddy owns it? how in the world do you have five year past expiration product. ordered outlaw ribeye, it had more fat and grisle than meat, not even close, gave up and didnt say anything about steak. every bottle of the three beers looked like they had bounced around in the back of a truck for days, labels were battered beyond beleif. completely unreal experience i am traveling for business very frequently and have had great, normal and bad experiences in restaurants, but this place is by far the worst i not only have seen, i have never even imagined something this terrible.

We are new to the state and were fond of another Steakhouse we had out in the North West that is also here. I always get prime rib so I ordered it(not with high hopes) and to my surprise OMG this was melt in your mouth! I have found my new FAVORITE Steakhouse! Thanks for the great service too!

Their rib-eye’s are their best. I visited family and there aren’t very many high end restaurants in Longview that are open on Saturday afternoons. The service was good and we didn’t have too long to wait for a table. Before ordering, check out the meat case to see how well the steaks are trimmed. On our visit, only the rib-eye’s looked and were good. This wasn’t the best steak or even high caliber, but LongHorn was consistent and everyone had a good time.

Great place to go for a good steak and the wife isn’t a steak kinda girl so she usually gets the salmon or american favorite«chicken». Last run she got split breast chicken with rice on the side and I got a center steak 8 oz with sweet potato with cinnamon and butter. Great stuff as always. We’ll do it again for sure.
