Lone Wolf Family Sports Pub

It was our first time trying it. The food was good and fresh. The Sidewinder fries are awesome. The server was very friendly and even helped us save a few bucks. The place was very clean. They also had a lot of tvs to watch sports on a great place.

We love coming to Lone Wolf! My husband loves the bacon wrapped hot dog, and I LOVE the stuffed, loaded potatoes, they are amazing. Owners and staff are all so friendly!

I’m a fan of locally owned establishments that make an effort to «do it right.» Lone Wolf fits that description perfectly. They have a ton of TVs, do you can watch whatever game you like. On one occasion, my wife and her friend went there to watch a game that they weren’t showing. But they accommodated her and put the game on a TV that was near them.
The food is good. Not amazing. Just good, normal food.
The wolf bites are pretty awesome. It’s just deep fried balls of cheese, so you can’t go wrong.
I love Lone Wolf. I hope it stays here a long time. This particular building isn’t kind to the tenants, so we’ll see.

Great place to watch a game. the foot long Angry Dog is to die for. Wrapped in bacon and deep fried, covered in Chese, chili, and a ton of other stuff. It’s not anything I’ve seen on a menu anywhere else and is big enough for two people to share. Tap beer selection is outstanding for a bar that size and the happy hour and game day drink specials are the best I’ve seen.

I would have liked to had tried their food, but we sat at a table for over 5 minutes and were ignored. The place was empty, minus the people at the bar and the drunk man walking around. The waitresses made eye contact with us multiple times but continued to eat their dinner at the bar with their regulars. The one eating did get up when one of her regulars came in and she gave her a beer and a menu. We were still waiting on a greeting and menu. We finally said forget it and we got up and left. I won’t be going back there.

Services was good and the place is clean and friendly.
I ordered the medium wings and my wife ordered the code sandwich with fries. Every thing was hot and to order. Wings had a little spice and good flavor. They pre grill them to add a smokey goddess.
My wife’s fish sandwich was large with a generous portion of fish and well dressed with lettuce and tomatoes. All looked fresh and tasted so. Her fries were perfectly cooked and tasty as well.
We will be back!!!

My husband and I tried Lone Wolf for dinner this evening and were not disappointed. We started with the pretzel appetizer, which is two large pretzels and a generous serving of cheese dip. It would have been enough for four people. The dip was very cheesy and creamy and was spicy but not too much. The pretzels were deep fried. I’ve never heard of doing pretzels this way before but it is genius. We loved it. My margarita was tasty and strong enough for my taste. My husband had boneless wings buffalo style. The sauce tasted like real buffalo (franks red hot and butter) and tasted fresh. I ordered broken ribs which were described to me as country-​style ribs, cut across the bone. This cut of pork is usually a bit gristly and I know that, so I don’t fault them for it. Even so, there was still plenty of meat on the ribs. Service was quick, friendly and competent. Not overbearing. We were served with cheer and enthusiasm but didn’t feel our asses were being kissed. We really enjoyed the musician who was playing tonight, as well. He was doing music trivia. Every ten minutes or so, he would do an acoustic version of a song and the first customer to come up and tell him the song title would win a free beer. This was really fun and interactive and it seemed like all the customers and staff were enjoying it. We will be back for sure. Great job! We love seeing new, locally owned restaurants in the south end.

Great service waiter was friendly not over the top. Order appetizer they where over cooked and looked and tasted as such. I ordered the sampler. I order wings BBQ and medium the waiter recommended the jalapeño ranch dip GREAT!!! I think it’s worth a try if your in the Valley Station area.
