Life Bar

Love this place. The smoothies are delicious, you can choose on from the menu or make up your own. My favorite so far has been the seasonal strawberry shortcake but you can’t go wrong with any. Craving one now! :)

Wanting to get back on the juice wagon, but not wanting to drag out the Breville Juicer I thought I’d try one of the local juice places for a 3 day cleanse to get me back on the road. I chose Lifebar because it is fairly close to me for pick ups. I called first to find out how their cleanse works and what I need to do to order. The day before the cleanse started I stopped by to order and pay for the juices. The person who explained the cleanse was very nice, but I was surprised that I chose the juices (no beets for me-​yuk) and was told to drink them in no particular order. Usually the different juices have a specific time of day to consume, even the Joe Cross cleanse that you make your own juice has a specific juice to consume for a specific time of day. I picked up my first bag of juices and everyone was very nice. At the end of the day I opened the Almond Milk which was a huge disappointment, it was so watery and basically tasted like nothing, all three had that watery bland nothing taste. I went through the other two days with no problems. The cleanse was ok, nothing out of the ordinary, nothing special, I did feel it was a bit pricey. I’ll start making my own juice or rev up for a Joe Cross cleanse that has more variety in the juices. In summation, the people at Lifebar are very nice and helpful, the juices except the almond milk are ok especially with the extra ginger to give them some «kick». Would I do it again, yes but unfortunately not here,

Awesome smoothies and knowledgable staff! The smoothies are expensive but they’re worth it + a lot of the smoothies can be used as a meal replacement. Get a punch card and get a free smoothie after you purchase 10! It’s Easy Being Green and the Gorillas Delight are my favorites!

Tried ChocoMaca:
ChocoMaca had a rich chocolate flavor that didn’t taste artificial. The texture was thick and slightly gritty that made you feel like you were drinking something «raw and organic». I added honey as a sweetener and it turned out VERY sweet. Next time, I would omit the sweetener. Very filling and could be a meal replacement.
The only negative is that this place is quite pricey on a student’s budget — bc i would try a new smoothie every day if I could afford it!

Always a big fan of life bar. They really make lunch healthy and easy. Not to mention the service. My personal favorite drink is the Reishi, add almond butter.

After a weekend of not so healthy eating I was seeking a good dose of health in the form of nourishing beverage replacement — a smoothie.
Let the hunt begin… I turn to Unilocal.
Unilocal lead me to Life Bar tucked directly inside Rainbow Blossom Natural Food Market. Life Bar has an incredible list of Super food Smoothies in addition to Organic Juice Blends, Green Smoothies and Fruit Smoothies. The Super food Smoothies really captured my attention. The menu looked nutritious listing ingredients like green vibrance, eucommia, reishi, eleuthero, cordyceps and he shou wu… say what? The menu in my opinion was a bit challenging for someone new to the Super food Smoothie world like me. I probably should have stuck with the standard smoothie options but I wanted to try something new.
…In hindsight this is where I should have read through Unilocal tips & best smoothie recommendations. I did not… this is what happened.
The staff were very helpful answering my questions regarding ingredients and recommended I try The Chocomaca Protein (their top selling Super food smoothie). Based on this drinks ingredients I was hoping for a creamy chocolate banana smoothie with a zing of cinnamon and spice. I just assumed LIFEbar triple spice was cinnamon & spice and everything nice (?). What I received tasted like none of the above. This drink was hard to swallow and for $ 9 I expected this smoothie to make me want to explore my inner desires, elevate my mood, and renew my mind. I left disappointed. I do appreciate the menus creativity and huge variety of options.
Based on Unilocal reviews — if I return I will stick with standard options like the Avocado Dream or Blueberry/​Mango/​Banana smoothie.

First time in Rainbow Blossom and first time trying out Lifebar. Usually I juice at home with a blender, but if I’m just juicing for myself I’ll go out. The hassle of cleaning a blender all for 16 oz of juice is time consuming. So I decided to try out Lifebar. The menu is full of options everything from Detox, energizing, green smoothies, and even Wheatgrass shots. I decided to try out the Avocado Dream and a 1 oz shot of Wheatgrass. The Avocado Dream was amazing, the Wheatgrass shot was not very strong. That is the reason being why I rated 1 star.
Another really awesome system they have is a punch card. Which I don’t understand why more cafes and restaurants haven’t adopted. You make a certain amount purchases and your rewarded a free drink or meal ect…
Besides the Wheatgrass, Lifebar gets a thumbs up and another returning customer!

I’ve found myself getting more and more into juice. And I’ve always been a fan of smoothies.
Plus, on one particular day when I was feeling under the weather, Life Bar was able to give me a nutritious treat that perked me up.
For all of these reasons, I’ve become more interested and more of a fan of Life Bar.
About a month or so ago, I was suffering from one of those weird summer colds that sometimes hit. I was at Rainbow Blossom for its annual Farmers Market Celebration and decided to venture inside the store to find a remedy for my sore throat and sniffles.
And there I found Life Bar.
The clerk recommended adding some ginger to my fruit smoothie. I’m glad she did. It added a little heat — for lack of a better word — to the smoothie, which helped clear my sinuses. And the coolness of the smoothie soothed my throat.
I was craving a second the minute my cup was empty.
Life Bar also has a Unilocal check-​in offer good for 10 percent off a drink, which always sweetens the deal.
I wish more groceries had smoothie/​juice bars like Life Bar. Happy I can find some sustenance at this location.

I’m drinking a little blueberry/​mango/​banana smoothie right now — so good! Love the high quality ingredients of this place. Not so in love with the prices, which can be around $ 8 a pop. It’s never enough for me to fill up and substitute for a meal, although my husband is able to do that! If I could, that would make it more of a regular thing for me than a rare treat!

I really love the smoothies here. Like, I want one everyday. The Avocado Dream is my favorite. With it’s luscious, smooth, thick, creaminess, it’s heaven in a cup.
Life Bar’s concoctions are more earthy and exotic than your typical smoothie. Their menu features ingredients like ginger, cinnamon, goji berries, maca, avocado, cayenne, etc. Much more than just fruit. They really know how to blend these healthy ingredients into a tasty drink.
Another thing I love about Life Bar is that they post their calorie counts on the menu. This is a huge advantage to me. While still healthy, sometimes certain smoothies can become calorie bombs. With nut butters, protein powders, tons of sugary fruits, etc. a smoothie can turn into more of a meal than a snack, calorie wise. When I’m craving a smoothie for a snack, I want to make sure it stays in that calorie range. It turns out that Life Bar doesn’t have any hidden calorie surprises. All of their juices and smoothies are in the snack range (the highest is around 400 calories). Still, this is good to know, and I like that it doesn’t leave me wondering.
Lastly, I will comment on the price… It’s high. I once spent over $ 14 on one 16 oz smoothie (I had one add-​on). That was a little startling. Based on my 5 star rating, the product is worth the price to me. The fresh, organic, healthy ingredients are the highest quality, and the smoothies are just plain delicious. If the price were a bit lower, I’d visit more often. The price point puts Life Bar in the «treat» category for me.

This juice bar has incredible options, creative superfood smoothies and awesome vegetable blends (smoothies) and it’s all organic. The only downside is that this comes with a significant price tag. But hey you have to pay for quality, right? I got the It’s Not Easy Being Green, a green vegi smoothie and added the raw vegan protein. It was so good but cost $ 11.50, so just be ready if/​when you come here. Everyone in my crew loved what they ordered, although my friend was priced out on the $ 10.50 juices and didn’t get anything. Still the array of superfoods and organic smoothie options would keep me coming back here despite the hit to my wallet.

I love the smoothies here! They do have an earthy taste, but delicious none the less. My favorite is their Berry berry smoothie and their beet juice is also very delicious. They also allow you to create your own smoothie.
They have a really great app that allows you to order and pick up your smoothie later, you can also view their menu on the app, complete with calories on most smoothies.
They also deliver smoothies from the rainbow blossom location, which is wonderful during the week when you need a little something extra to get through the work day.

naw man. not five stars, at least not in my book which by the way its pretty awesome and luckily for you, its mostly pictures. prices are a bit too high for what they serve. the two kids behind the counter seemed bored out of their minds and not even a bit enthusiastic. i ordered a smoothie which was good but it was over $ 10. naw bro.

I came in here with a groupon and no knowledge of this place. The workers quickly explained everything to me and gave me the names of their favorites. I tried the cappuccino one (can’t remember the name), and it was delicious! I’m definitely coming back. I’ve also tried the rainbow smoothie and that was (of course) delicious too. I totally recommend this place.

Juice is great; however, they have begun pre-​making juices and that is contrary to the purpose of spending $ 9 on a fresh juice that provides the health/​enzyme benefits of a freshly pressed juice. They are willing to make it fresh but only after much discussion/​negotiation. I hope they get this is the draw of their business and the reason customers are willing to pay so much for a single juice. I want to be a regular customer but if it is difficult to get what I go there for, I will have to take more time to juice more at home.

I love this place and their other locations! The workers know exactly what you need and offer up great advice. Their Wheat Grass shots are amazing and refreshing. I stopped by yesterday because everyone I know is sick and I don’t want that! So the lovely worker have me a Healer smoothie and an Immune Regimen shot. Wow! I feel great today! I’ve never had a flu shot and I refuse to get one, they are poison! I’d take a wheat grass shot any day! Love Life Bar! All organic!

I walked in not really knowing what I wanted but was willing to give anything a shot. I told them I was looking for meal replacement smoothie and they were very gracious and helpful with their suggestions.
I’m not really sure what I ended up with but I do know it was delicious. I love buying local because the employees really do know their stuff. They put together an awesome combination of the best ingredients
Also, you can’t beat their $ 5 for $ 10 deal! Looking forward to my next smoothie!

Love Life bar– avocado dream is the best, wish is was a little less expensive…

Great juice bar! They are super friendly and outgoing! They go above and beyond to make their drinks and your order personnal. All the drinks come out consistent no matter who is working. And all the signature smoothies are awesome! The only one I haven’t had are reishi cappuccino and the ultimate. I don’t like coffee flavor and I don’t want to pay 24.99 for a drink :)
I go for my full meal sometimes when I don’t feel like eating regular food. It’s filling and filled with nutrients.
If you enjoy healthy eating and want something quick and easy to replace a meal or a quick pick me up-​this is your go to place.
The only reason I am giving this location is a four star is the hours. They are not as good as the other location! More than likely it’s due to the fact they are inside rainbow blossom
A must try-​they also do a juice diet, it’s pricey but may be worth it depending on your schedule.
