Third time here over last 6 months, had pizza each time. We are pizza lovers and try all over the country and our own city as much as possible. I consider this pizza a hidden gem. It has become one of our local rounds. And speaking of rounds, drinks are generous and inexpensive. So the good times can roll without much dough, unless of course you try the cheesy breadsticks too which just may be Louisville’s best or as my wife puts it «the best she’s ever had». The takeaway: odd location, zero curb appeal, but clean inside, great attentive service, kid friendly, juke box, darts, cheap drinks, great pizza(do not order xtra cheese, not necessary and is just TOO much if you do) and possibly the world’s most amazing cheese bread(?)

I ordered a pizza here that was decent in all respects except for the sauce. The sauce was way too sweet, didn’t have any herbs in it at all, and there was way too much of it. The quantity of cheese and other toppings was also quite generous. The pepperoni slices were pretty large in diameter, and I like that. The crust was pretty thin. The edges were crispy, while the bottom was flimsy and soggy, probably from all that sauce. If they fixed the sauce situation, this would be a 4 star rating.

The guys that work here a super nice & down to earth fellas! They don’t take the old Living Social or Groupon or whatever coupon that they had up a while back but they will work with you on that. This is one of my go-to places for pizza when I just can’t stay away from pizza for one more second. In other words, this is where you might find me every few months when I am ready to cheat on my healthy diet. I always order the KENNA’S SPECIAL: buffalo wing meat, bacon, mushroom, light jalapeño, onion, special sauce, ham, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese served w/ranch dressing. Because OMG. Buffalo, jalapeño AND bacon. YUM! I know where my next cheat will be!

The service was awesome; she was the sweetest lady. This was a cozy bar with tables to bring the family to, but its in the far east-end. However, as for the sandwiches we tried, they were OK. The ham was rather thick. I dont mind having alot of meat on my sandwiches, but when it is one huge slab of ham, thats a bit much.
