The only reason this place gets two stars is because technically, the food isn’t that bad. It’s just that this building is filthy. The dining rooms actually smell like filth. The smell is on your clothes when you leave. Plates and silverware are dirty, the carpet needed to be replaced probably twenty years ago and the dining booths /chairs are torn and covered in stains. If my daughter weren’t with me and wanting to play games, I would have turned around and left immediately but I shamed it for her. The gaming area is just as filthy, just with less food stains in the carpet. More just extremely worn down and you’re hesitant to let your kids touch anything because none of the games appear to get cleaned… ever…luckily there is hand sanitizer readily available. All in all, decent food(though hard to get over the fact you know it’s tainted with disgust) but the health department has obviously not visited this place in a millennium. Go see for yourself. Your kids, if young enough, won’t notice and will have a good time. After all, it’s pizza and games.

Went over the weekend 1÷23÷16. Food was plan but good selection. Was kinda surprised how dirty over all place was. At the end of the day the kids had fun. The little things don’t matter as long as the kids are happy.

I’m always torn about going to Mr. Gatti’s. On one hand, I enjoy their All-You-Can-Eat buffet — hot pizza and keep it coming! Plus, the cinnamon sticks are nothing short of «yum». And, while I’ve never wasted my pizza-eating stomach on salad, they do have a complete salad bar and pasta too. On the other hand, I feel exhausted, sweaty and irritable every time I leave this place. You cannot plan to be «in & out» — it’s a 2 – 3 hour commitment between eating and visiting the arcade with your kids. Plus, just when you think you can run away because the kids are out of money, you realize they have tickets to spend on overpriced trinkets. Practice your deep breathing to ensure you do not dissolve into tears and screaming. Be prepared mentally that you are only going to appease your children. Otherwise, you’re going to be disappointed that you could’ve spent your time and dollars at a sit-down pizza joint with servers. Be prepared to experience games that may or may not work, screaming kids running through an arcade, dirty floors you don’t want kids to crawl on, etc. It’s all part of Mr. Gatti’s appeal, down to the bumper cars. Even Chuck E Cheese can’t give you this experience. Side note: Party packages are available. I attended one this weekend. The room is a good size for approx. 20 people, the hostesses were fantastic bringing us requested pizzas and drinks and they did activities such as face painting, balloons, sword fighting w the balloons and popping the balloons(LOTS of balloon-activities now that I think on it). My youngest(5 yrs) enjoyed it but the older kiddos(9 – 10 yrs) were ready to hit the arcade instead.

It’s hard to give this place a bad review because their pepperoni pizza is really good and they do have someone trying to maintain the buffet it’s just the clientele that I don’t like they needed armed policemen there. that kind of makes you wonder hmmm

Mr. Gatti’s on Lynden Lane closed. So we drove all the way down from J town to Outerloop to have pizza with my kids. As we are walking in the door, there is typed sheet of paper taped to the door that says because of an ice cream social and the amount of kids there are, they are closed until 2 o’clock! No wonder one of them closed in town. The kid at the register had nothing positive to say for me. Didn’t even apologize. I have been coming here for many years. And I don’t understand how they can be closed for a party during the day.

Mr Gatti’s isn’t for adults that just want to chill and have some gourmet pizza, it’s for kids that want to have fun and don’t really care what their pizza tastes like. They do what they do pretty well and I will admit that I had a fun time. We took the hubs’ niece and she loved it. It was a little pricey but what kind of these places aren’t. We all had a few pieces of pizza and then headed back to the games. I have to give some props to them because all of the games were running and actually looked pretty decent. The lady at the ticket redemption counter was super patient with the 5 year old that couldn’t make up her mind that we hoisted upon her so more props for that. Over all I had a good time, and if I have a kid that I need to take somewhere for the day, I would come back.

They don’t have diet coke in their drink machine. Only caffeine free diet coke. Also not a big selection of pizza. Cheese, pepperoni, sausage. Very dirty in the room we sat there we 12 available tables and only 2 of them were cleaned off. The others were stacked with food and dishes. We were here for maybe an hour and no one ever came in to bus the tables or clean them.

This place gets a 2 star as that is what it deserves. But it is a 5 star for people watching! Seriously, You just gotta come here and experience it! And it is an experience! It’s like watching Sharknado. It’s so bad that it’s great! The pizza is ok but far from anything special. Leftover pizza and other assorted food are all over the floors and tables. The bathrooms are fairly disgusting and for some reason there is water everywhere. The employees all have that«I’ve given up» look in their eyes. It’s noisy. Kids are running wild with little to no supervison. And although they do have some fun games, most of the games are geared towards winning tickets that you can trade in for useless junk. But unless you have a good 1,000 tickets, the best you’re going to get is an eraser shaped like a cupcake and a couple bite sized Tootsie Rolls. But the reason you have to visit here is the people watching! Have you ever seen the People of Walmart website? This place is just like that but with food! Seriously! Apparently there is a whole subculture of people that only visit Walmart and this particular Mr. Gatti’s. I’ve lived in Okolona my whole life and I’ve never seen these people anywhere else. Guaranteed you are going to see some interesting fashion choices. Also guaranteed regardless of how much you weigh, there will be someone there at least 50 pounds heavier. So if you’re looking for fine, upscale dining, this is the exact opposite of that. You have to visit once, just once, during lunch or dinner hours when it’s crowded. You’ll be talking about it for years to come!

This restaurant was always part of our daytrips to Louisville. The Outer Loop location is a large building, the right side has a large pizza buffet and several dining rooms with TVs playing network TV or movies. The left side is an arcade with bumper cars and other games that kept our sons busy. It is close to the Jefferson Mall which kept mom happy. I have uploaded an old party planing flyer, please check for updated information.
