Dandelion

Dandelion is one of my go-​to places to find unique gifts for gals. The cozy and welcoming shop has a little of everything from jewelry to house wares to lotions/​perfumes. The ladies who own and work in the store are always happy to help you find the perfect item for yourself or your friends. Their gift wrapping is also adorable which makes getting or giving presents from here even better.
When they first opened, I signed up for their email list to get all the latest news on their sales and offers. Completely worth the two minutes of typing! They offer some great discounts and perks throughout the year.
Dandelion is located off Lexington Rd in the old Vogue Theatre complex. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, so I often opt to park on the Frankfort Ave side.
With so many small businesses within the block, Dandelion and their neighbors are one of my annual stops for Christmas shopping (especially for small business shopping day). Make a day of it with all the yummy food and amazing boutiques within walking distance!

I was finally in the area to visit Dandelion, which is located in The Vogue shopping center. It’s nestled in between the buildings and its windows are always so nicely decorated. We were greeted right away by the staff.
Inside you will find several pieces of jewelry, fashion accessories, soaps and lotions and home décor. It is geared heavily for the women and its featured jewelry. Pricing and the value is truly in the eye of the buyer. When you find something unique, you are willing to pay more.
I had been under the impression that Dandelion offered more home décor items so I was slightly disappointed in the selection, but it is a fun pit stop if you are spending the day shopping or looking for a gift.

So much cuteness under one roof! Come here when you need to get your grown-​up girl fashionista on. Seriously. And did somebody say Winter Sale? Heck yeah!
I love that this store has a hipster vibe for a ‘mature’ BizNez Woman audience. And I don’t mean a ‘mature’ dowdy audience. Its like Cosmo blessed Dandelion as my destination for acquired taste. I love that the trinkets in here resonate with world travelers, art appreciattors (what do you mean it’s not a word?!) and gals who aren’t afraid of color and craft. You won’t find hello kitty up in here.
But you will find chunky jewelry, dainty jewelry, soaps, candles, home décor, scarves, and random inventive stuff that is so darn cute you think you need that now. Like right now. Like now now. Okay, take it easy.
But umm… can I go back for the flowery passport cover case? That was so cute and I could use it on my next trip. That’s what we BizNez Women do ya know. Dandelion, you fancy classy jet-​setter you!

I love Dandelion!
I’ve come here a few times for gifts. You’ll find a million great options here. They are definitely a little more upscale than other shops but the quality justifies the price, in my humble opinion.
They’ve got clothing, candles, jewelry, accessories, drinkware, kitchenware, coffee-​related items, lotions, perfumes, hats, scarves, and many many more items.
A fair warning; the items are geared towards a female audience. So if you need a last-​second item for a guy, you might want to try another shop. They DO have some items for men. The ratio leans female, though.
This year I did some of my Christmas shopping here; ornaments, gloves, mugs, dish towels, candles, etc. And the recipients loved them!
I’d recommend you pop in here and scout it out!

I’m crazy for this place. It has amazing jewelry, and at Christmas there are great gifts including adorable ornaments. I’ve purchased a great purse there as well as statement necklaces, engraved bracelets and earrings at very reasonable prices. They also have great sales — just last week all jewelry was half off! And there’s a sidewalk sale, I think typically in March. I follow them in Instagram for sale dets.

I love this little shop. I had a friend purchase several beauty/​skincare items from here for me and finally decided to go in and check the place out myself. I left with a gorgeous bangle bracelet. They have super cute household items, gorgeous jewelry and accessories, a fabulous selection of bath & body items, and tons of great gift options. This shop is definitely worth checking out for yourself and for your family or friends. I will definitely be going back to pick up items for myself and items to use as gifts. Some of the products are a bit pricey, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to check this place out.

Have you not been into Dandelion? Seriously? Well, I would recommend that you stop the delay and go immediately.
And since it is Derby season… they have the most amazing fascinators. The jewelry is the best and they have things for every budget… want high-​end prices and product. check. want really cute one of kind budget friendly stuff that no one else in town has… check. want a memorable gift that your friends/​family will always thank you for… check. But, good luck just going in to buy only a gift for someone else… i have moments where I think about Dandelion and all the sparkly shiny things that I need to buy for myself. Immediately.
And the staff is pretty kick ass, too.

Neat place! I come to this boutique and others around it very often. The employees are always helpful, and I always find something. I definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for a great gift or a little treat for yourself.
