Went here for a Christmas office lunch . This restaurant puts a new meaning of «Hole in the wall«to a new perspective. Too small for parties over 4. Felt like we were on display being placed in center of room. The food doesn’t compare to the Cheddar box in Middletown. Their house salad and chicken salad was nothing like theirs. My coworkers hambuger was dry and looked like a hockey puck. This definitely was one of those Christmas lunches we wished the Grinch would of stolen.

Hands down the best place in the area for breakfast, lunch or brunch. Clean. Friendly staff. Great food! Inside or outside seating weather permitting.

This is a great place for brunch in the St Matthews area. Conveniently located in Chenoweth Square, it truly is in the heart of one of Louisville’s more unique neighborhoods. The only downside to its great location is the neighboring train tracks, which sometimes disrupt outdoor diners. I visited once before and Unilocal told me that I hadn’t reviewed it(!). As such, I decided that the place needed anther visit for me to give the best scoop on it. A friend and I headed over on a recent Sunday for a leisurely mid-morning meal. I ordered the Eggs Benedict while she got the Egg Basket. While I can’t vouch for her Egg Basket, my own Eggs Benedict tasted just as great as my Unilocal picture portrays it to be. I was also jealous at the chef’s ability to perfectly poach the eggs that rested on top of my English Muffin and generous slice of ham. It was all covered in some delicious Hollandaise sauce. It was a beautiful morning, so we took advantage of the outdoor seating to enjoy the weather. Our service was impeccable, and we left satisfied, happy, and with a new favorite brunch spot in my friend’s neighborhood.

Three Egg Omelet, Country ham, bacon and Swiss. Excellent! House potatoes were very delicious and top off with a piece of wheat toast with strawberry jam. Made for a great Sunday brunch. only draw back was my OJ with ice in it. Cost was $ 5.00. My wife enjoyed her spinach, Swiss and bacon omelet. Coffee was strong and she loved it. We will return. Service was very good and helpful.

Great little breakfast joint in St. Mathews. Everyone was so nice. We called ahead to let them know we had a big party coming in. When we got there, they knew who we were and already started setting up our table. The service was fast and efficient. Classic American breakfast food. Everything came out as ordered even the special requests. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

This place was awesome! Came for breakfast food around 1pm and got scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast. Eggs and bacon are great and tasted as expected, but the breakfast potatoes really stood out. Such a unique taste/seasoning. I would go back just for those. Our food came in about 10 minutes. Last but not least– the service. It was exceptional. The hostess was very kind and welcoming and our server was on top of it! Go here people.
