Please be aware that financial difficulties at Buschemeyer Jewellers or Dr. Leslie Davis, DDS, may affect your purchases or other interactions with this business. In 2015, Dr. Davis accepted a large set of silverware and an antique clock from my family’s estate. Weeks later, we received a check for the silverware. The check bounced due to insufficient funds. Months of phone calls and emails with Dr. Davis, as well as letters sent by the attorney of the estate, resulted in repeated promises by Dr. Davis to repay the amount for the silverware. To date, after more than six months, all dates agreed to by Dr. Davis have passed without payment.

Do not recommend. Employees complain about each other in front of customers. Nobody knows the answer to any questions and the buck is passed. Customer service lacking. Terrible job done on jewelry repair. Prices extremely high. Avoid.

We bought our engagement and wedding bands here and were so happy with the great customer service and speed with which everything was done. If you are looking for a great local jewelry store with staff that have great knowledge on all aspects of jewelry (and coins!) and very reasonable prices, look no further. They have moved to Douglas Loop in the Highlands, so don’t drive downtown for them anymore. Love this place!!!
