One of my favorite consignment shops in town. It’s HUGE! There’s so much to look at and if you have the time to hunt you definitely should. I was immediately greeted upon entering the store and asked if I had been there before. I said no and the kind gentleman behind the counter told me where I could find most things and what color tags were on sale. He also mentioned that all pants were buy one get one free. I found a few things to try on after browsing for a good hour. I made my final decisions and decided to purchase a pair of Ralph Lauren jeans and a pair of white j crew capris. I didn’t realized the jeans weren’t included in the pants sale but the man gave me the capris for free! Such a great experience thank you so much! Will definitely be back!

This place is HUGE(and awesome)! Despite it’s gigantic square footage, the clothing is well-organized by type, size and color. The shoes are as well. It’s rather impressive. The owners were both on site and are very friendly and kind. Mark reduced the prices of a few items even more than the already generous discount, which delighted the bargain shopper in me. High end brands, with a typical price range of $ 7-$ 30USD. There’s something for every occasion to be found on the racks. If you are a consignment junkie, this is a Louisville treasure not to be skipped over. Look for the percent-off colored tags for that day and shop your little heart away. Enjoy!

My favorite thing to buy at a consignment store is jeans. And no, I’m not a huge fan of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, I’m just always on the search for a pair of the perfecting fitting pair of jeans. I’m 5’11. Life is hard. Finding jeans that are long enough at any kind of thrift or consignment shop is like finding a needle in a haystack and who doesn’t love that victory? Bchic certainly has a room for me and my love of jeans. It’s up the first flight of stairs and to the left in this gigantic 3 story house. Unfortunately, this place has room for too many old sweaters and tops in a variety of muted shades. Perfectly organized by blah colors and outdated styles, it does make it a little bit easier to spot the occasional fun top. The skirts and dresses were much more in line with today’s fashion. They were also more on par with price tags of the department stores they came from. Bchic also has a lot of nice name brand purses and maybe the largest selection of shoes I’ve seen at a consignment shop in Louisville. They only take clothes on consignment – no trade is – and their rate is 50% of what the item sells for. While many places only keep items for 60 days, they keep them for 90. This is why there is so much stuff… You get a check the month following the sale. While this shop potentially has A LOT to offer, the only thing I will be back for is the jeans – must keep checking. As for the rest, there is just too much to pick through in order to maybe find one cool inexpensive top or skirt.

This shop carries an amazing selection of second-hand, name-brand and designer, jeans for women! They also have a decent selection of other women’s clothing and a small men’s section. I really appreciated that everything was carefully sorted by size and type, so you can easily find the right section for you. The only downside is that the stuff is pretty high-priced for a second-hand store. If you must have designer stuff, though, it’s certainly better to pay $ 32 for a pair of jeans than the original $ 150 price. For the best deals, check for the discount colors of the day — one color tag is always 50% off and another color is 25% off.
