We only live a block or two away from Miner Ace Los Osos and we love it. There is always ample help to advise you on your purchase. They will cut wood to shape for a low fee or free. They are competitive on price and mail you coupons if you shop frequently. They pack a lot of stuff in such a small store. Sometimes if you can not find what you are looking for just ask because they usually have it. Love’em

I have been a loyal customer of miners for years! I would just like to give a word of thanks to the fine folks in the Los Osos store. The crew is always so helpful with good advice and the right stuff to get the job done! Miners is definitely a shining star in our little town.

We have been customers of this hardware store for decades, and it is such a great place. The employees go above and beyond for their customers and remember us by name. They have spent over an hour with us helping to tweak a paint sample until it was perfect. Really great hardware store and people!

The last three purchases I have made at Ace Hardware in Los Osos have been rung up incorrectly at the cash register, and in each case, I was charged more than the product was actually supposed to cost.
I have brought the matter to the attention of one of the assistant store managers, but I doubt anything is actually going to be done to improve this issue, and I have not been offered any financial restitution. Regardless of how much money is involved, it is the principle of the matter that is most alarming.

In today’s world, it’s hard to find a customer oriented company, especially the size of Ace. I think each is individually owned, so that might help, but the Los Osos Ace has a knowledgable, super friendly staff, just like the ‘old days.’ As a woman, I also feel very confident in the advice given. No condescending attitudes, just helpful!
