Had another great time here! Andrew himself was pouring wine out on the Terrance! Great place to sit outside and enjoy the great weather and wine. Cheese plate was yummy, and his first champagne is a hit! Refreshing after our dozen canyon bike ride. Great customer service, best Syrahs in Santa Inez, and nicest tasting room and members lounge.

I just walked in to try a tasting and asked to use the bathroom. Apparently she didn’t know I was there to do a tasting and sent me two blocks away to the church to use the bathroom. There were two other people there yelling out its a nice bathroom and laugh! Wtf! Is this the place you send your customers, I think not! Maybe they were all drunk but still cackling and sending people two blocks away to use the bathroom is rude and mean. I hate this place! Btw, we were coming off the Foxen Canyon Road Wine trail, and purchased a case each from 3 different vineyards. We did not visit Andrew Murray on the trail because we wanted to go into town and grab a bite to eat, and saw this Andrew Murray tasting room. I thought everybody was nice in this town until I walked in here.

I visit Andrew Murray’s two tasting rooms every time I am in the area because I am a member, but I feel particularly inclined to write a review now because they have just released a new label called E11EVEN. The wines are beautiful and unique. They only carry the five wines that he has produced to date. We especially loved the Pinot Noir and the Petit Verdot. Holly did our tasting and she was so fantastic… she is very welcoming and knows a ton about the entire process of winemaking. We were lucky to be the only people in the tasting room so it was like getting a private lesson. Thank you Holly!

Contrary to «Sideways» reference, Andrew Murray produces EXCELLENT wines. Great staff. Lots of fun. I liked AM so much that I became a member. A tad bit on the expensive side, however, if you want Santa Barbara county wines you have to be willing to pay a little extra. Go there. You won’t regret the decision. I miss Area 51.

Huge fan of Andrew Murray’s wine! Our first time visiting was about a year ago and we regretted not buying more so we made sure this time around we got what we liked. Their Sauvignon blanc was crisp and refreshing! We do nt normally drink whites but we bought half a case of this one. The Pinot noir was another easy to drink red. We bought a lot for our thanksgiving guests. But the one that made me jump for joy was the Cabernet Sauvignon. Wow. We bought quite a few but I’m worried we will run out quicker than we think. Definitely a value bottle! The last was the petite Verdot. Love the color and complexity of this one. The thing I love about Andrew Murray is their value. Amazing wine that doesn’t break the bank! Needless to say we became club members yesterday.

My review is for the wines that I tasted in the tasting room in downtown Los Olivos. I did not know that they had opened a new tasting room in Foxen Canyon at 5095 Zaca Station Road. The wines they poured on this visit to the downtown tasting room did not include any wines with the Andrew Murray label. I liked the 2013 Elleven Pinot Noir for $ 25.00. I also liked there Cabernet Sauvignon for $ 33, but it was not any better than the cheaper pinot noir. I did not care for any of the other wines that I tasted. I might have liked the more expensive wines with the Andrew Murray label, but they were not pouring any of them. Tasting fee was $ 15.00, which was a little bit high for the wines that they were pouring. The next time I want to taste Andrew Murray wines, I will go to their new tasting room in Foxen Canyon. We lucked out and found a parking place in front of the tasting room as it is quite crowded in Los Olivos with all their tasting rooms.

What a wonderful winery! Great atmosphere, staff and of course delicious wine. Spencer took really good care of our group and made our experience so enjoyable and memorable. We had so much fun. Definitely add this winery to your list when you’re in the area wine tasting. Superb.

We have been to many many wineries this weekend and Andrew Murray stood out as one of the best, in terms of wine as well as service– Spencer in particular was so friendly and helpful that it made our trip more fun than we could have imagined! We will definitely return! Thank you!

We stopped by there today and met Adriana. She gave us a tour and taught us all about the wines. She was amazing. We love the Red wine called Poizon. We will be back.

Pretty nice winery. They have a newer looking building and great outside seating. You can go and look in the barrel room as well. I wasn’t in love with their wines but they were good. A good stop on a winery tour or pilgrimage.

The wines and ambiance were fine and the service attentive. Some pros: a) Stools! b) Chocolate flight available $ 8. c) «E11even» wine named after Spinal Tap.

Horrible service. There were two people so not an issue with being busy. Crap wine with high abv and even worse service. Can’t be that hard to pour wine in a freaking glass ;) Cheers

Such a great atmosphere. We spent the afternoon with Jennifer. She showed us the grounds and made our experience very welcoming and fun. She said it’s supposed to feel like a second living room to members.. and it totally does. We played Jenga!!! It was fantastic!

The wines here were nice and the little tasting room was super cute. It had a chic-ish feel to it and they even sell little bath salts and other goodies as well. The lady helping us with our tasting was incredibly sweet. If I’m correct, her name was Cassandra??! I’m sorry if I butchered that, but she was so helpful and sweet and perfectly sociable. She was knowledgeable with the wine and answered any questions we had. Will definitely be coming back to Andrew Murray tasting room.

Had a great time being served and talking with Leslie, she was a hoot. Enjoyed the conversation about wine and which was her choice from the ones we were poured and just all around good conversation. Had a bottle of Cinsault wine after our tasting in one of their outdoor settings. They even let us borrow a knife to cut our cheese. I will return to enjoy more wine and good conversation with nice people. Tasting room is very modern, laid back with hip music.

Came here in search of our favorite wine, Mourvedre. They did have a Mourvedre and yes it was good. Actually, the wines were all good. Maybe not the best but they were good for sure. Not many places make a Mourvedre so that is a big plus for me. The service was fine as well. What makes me drop them to three stars is the ambiance. The tasting room is just plain blah. It is boring, dull and not very fun. In a great area with tons of options and amazing wine a tasting room can set you apart. Many others have a great fell, welcoming and fun. AM needs to step their tasting room location game up!

We had a great first experience at Andrew Murray. As newly converted wine club members from Curtis, we were excited to try the wines. Andrew Murray has a similar style to Curtis focusing on the Rhone varietals. There really isn’t anything special or inviting about the tasting room atmosphere, but Nancy was fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable and so friendly making our first experience great. Most importantly, we really enjoyed the wines! Especially the Esperance, Mourvèdre and Syrah Watch Hill.

We had a great time at this tasting room. The service was friendly and Girl pouring took a lot of time to talk with us, not just about wine but our visit to the Santa Ynez Valley in general. We loved the wines and walked out with a few bottles to add to our collection.
