I have been a customer for years. I feel SO fortunate that we have access to a store such as this. Their customer service is wonderful and professional. I always feel well-taken care of when shopping here. I absolutely recommend Alef Bet. You will NOT be disappointed.

the world according to noelle, 2013 noelle’s Unilocal notebook Alef Bet is a wonderful store carrying all things Judaica. They have a wonderful selection of menorahs, mezuzahs, greeting cards, shabbot candle holders– the list could literally go on and on. Came here recently with my husband to purchase Hanukkah decorations, Hanukkah cookie cutters and our son’s first menorah. The store is well stocked with so many beautiful items, the customer service is friendly. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for anything Judaica. Definitely, one of my favorite places to shop!!!

I’m Jewish, and it is challenging to find a good place to purchase judaica locally. Luckily, a Unilocal search quickly revealed Alef Bet to me. It is located in the corner of a little plaza, and appears fairly plain from the outside. Once inside, however, I was stunned by the beautiful selection of assorted judaica items. They have everything from jewelry to mezzuzot, tallitot to children’s books in both English and Hebrew. I have visited the store twice and have been impressed with the selection, as well as the kindness and knowledge of the staff. I much prefer to support local businesses, rather than order online, and I’m grateful that Alef Bet is convenient and local. The only two problems? 1) I have to remember to wear blinders when I enter the store, otherwise I’ll spend entirely too much money on their gorgeous items. 2) I wish the prices were slightly lower.(See #1 above.) That said, I’ll certainly be back should I need something else that only they can provide.

I am not Jewish, but find myself in this store fairly often. My stepmother(who is) and my job have brought me here for a variety of reasons. I always find what I need and find the staff really helpful. Cute selection of products and a nice atmosphere.

How could you not give this place 5 stars! Please disregard Anita’s 3 stars. The lady(sorry I cant recall her name!) that owns the shop is beyond nice and helpful. The products are authentic and reasonably priced. I would recommend stopping here first for any celebration!

Most of the local Judaica shops have closed so I am especially grateful that Alef Bet is still in business. They have a great selection of gifts, cards, and other Jewish necessities. The two ladies that work there are extremely helpful. Free gift wrapping too!

tons of beautiful judaica items. i especially like the glass wall hangings. you can get some inexpensive and awesome toys too. dolls from the old testament. educational games, party favors. items from israel. huge book and cd selection, prayer shawls, cards, calendars. there’s a free local newsletter with jewish community happenings and whatnot. it’s mostly wheelchair accessible, depending on the seasonal displays, which may have to be moved a bit. books and cds are not very wheelchair accessible.

A beautifully set up store specializing in Judaica and Jewish and Hebrew toys for kids. They have some gorgeous glass pieces and papercraft. The employees are very friendly, and Nurit, the owner knows everyone and everything in the local Jewish community.

Friendly little store with really nice items. Cute Jewish stuff, and basically anything/everything you would need for the Jewish holidays/celebrations/religious services/etc. Also, the owner gets some beautiful jewelery straight from Israel — very unique and well crafted pieces. It’s nice having a Jewish shop in the neighborhood. :)

This is a small shop, and it has a small, but very friendly staff. It mostly specializes in handcrafted judaica, such as seder plates, Chanukah menorahs, candlesticks and the like. However, it also has an assortment of traditional and modern tallitot, all kinds of kippot, ketubas and just about anything for the Jewish holidays and lifecycle. If something is not available in the store, the owner will order it for you. The store«feels» really nice.

This little shop specializes in everything to do with the Jewish culture. You can find little knick knacks, cards, things for Hannukah, your child’s Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah, they have books on Judaism and even little puzzles with the Jewish theme on it.
